Great area and the amenities were awesome. Restaurant downstairs was delicious!! The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a lovely, unique, and historically minded vibe. Overall a lovely stay with nice touches such as complimentary water bottles and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our elopement!

Only complaint was that it was very warm in the room. The poor little AC unit was working hard but struggled to cool our top floor, west-facing room. The warmth was very uncomfortable. In July, in Florida, AC has to be a priority (grace given for the record-setting high temperatures during our stay). The staff was very accommodating and we were given an oscillating tower fan to help cool the room.

The staff, Kyle and maintenance and Kevin and Brian at the front desk all very friendly and nice to chat with. They work very hard there to make sure everything is maintained and running smoothly. They really do a good job.

I had a problem with my TV and I went down to the front office and they said they would send maintenance up. Kyle came up immediately went down and got a new TV brought it up and changed it. I really liked that the one thing that I wish they would do is replace all their TVs with smart TVs Because hey everybody streams now so I really miss out on my Netflix and Amazon prime and the shows that I watch because you cannot stream nothing on their television, but that will not stop me from coming here. The pool is clean and refreshing. The food is great. I love the little coffee shop. I love that I could bring my pet. The atmosphere is very cozy.

The restaurant has excellent food.

Small bathrooms

Loved the vibe, location and amount of area for photos for this birthday trip. Having a shuttle to downtown was amazing, the driver was so nice and it ran until 10:45 so it was perfect to get around for dinner and out for drinks. While I think the main lounge is pretty, my experience with the pool definitely outweighed my desire to stay here again.

Unfortunately, we booked the hotel for the pool and we didn’t have a great experience. Because they allow day passes and other non guests at the pool you cannot take absolutely anything into the area. So no snacks, no water bottles no personal cups. It’s very different than any pool or lounge area I’ve ever been to and we definitely packed for a day AT the pool. To be honest this kind of ruined the whole day. There were SO MANY people there, probably over 100, and at least 25 in the very small pool. There were very few chairs open and we had to ask if some chairs were being used in order to find a seat. After that we got a drink menu and the server never came back. We sat there for an hour and ultimately decided we’d have more fun with our own drinks and snacks in the room.

Very nice boutique hotel. Decorated beautifully. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bar, restaurant on main floor. and really good baked goods. Will stay there again.

Parking lot was challenging and our last night we had to park across the street in a dentist's parking lot. Parking lot is for guests and people that just come to eat and drink.

It was quite relaxing and everyone was friendly.

The bathtub had a red ring around the whole tub. It looked like it if the tub was dirty. Didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower but obviously I need to and I used my crocs while I took a shower. Also, the AC really didn’t get cold. I was sweating all night, in and out of sleep because of the heat. The parking lot gets packed quick and it sucks that you have to walk a good amount to get to the hotel entrance from the parking lot and there isn’t a back entrance to help with the situation. You have to walk all the way to the front with all your bags, which suck, especially in this summer heat.

Great hotel with so much charm. Rooms were not just clean but huge, well equipped, and very charming. The whole hotel has a unique look and feel. Great lobby sitting area with a fireplace ! Great restaurant and bakery downstairs, and you can enjoy your food or drink, right on the beautiful terrace . Staff is super friendly , helpful, and goes above and beyond for anything that you need. Nice bonus , they did not even have it on description , they just added a great little gym and spa . It was a very welcomed bonus. Can not wait to come here again ! I just noticed I used "great" a lot. It is really a one word summary of this gem !

We were surprised to find out that the hotel offers a free shuttle to all the local destinations from downtown to the museums and theaters. ( no driving in St Pete traffic or struggling to find parking ) Just park at the hotel and they do the rest. Gregg the shuttle driver is a great guy and very helpful. We caught a show at the Mahaffey, he dropped us off and picked us up a few hours later, it couldn't have been easier for us. Our Room was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a lot of charm and the entire staff is probably the best we have ever met at any hotel we've stayed at. The food was very good and Michelle our waitress at the poolside dining was fantastic. We are already planning to go back in March.

Location is excellent for most activities downtown. Staff was good and professional. The bar/restaurant downstairs was just wonderful, great food, excellent beer selection, and server was outstanding.

Walls/doors are a bit thin but this is a 'legacy' hotel and not unexpected. Room was small but fine, they need more hardware to hang things on the wall outside of the bathroom. There is a desk but the chair was a bit uncomfortable and it was difficult for my wife and I to find a setup to 'hang out' in the room. Fortunately there was a nice space by the elevators with comfortable couches and chairs to sit and drink a bit of wine.
