Location was perfect, 1 block from downtown and 2 minute walk from the ports. There is enough street parking around (free 2hr or overnight effectively 8pm-10am) that you don't have to use the expensive valet parking if going around by car in the day. There are also cheap $1/hr lots 2 blocks away at Sundial or MAACM. The corner room was spacious and had great views. Had no issues with the TV/WiFi, and staff were pleasant to work with. Two fast elevators meant we got out quickly and easily.

Front desk doesn't stock basic supplies or first aid kit, so bring your own. No water refill stations, although there was complimentary bottled water. Bathroom had a funky smell at the start that needed a day to clear out - need to leave the bathroom light on to vent properly.

Wonderful experience!!! The location is truly unbeatable — centrally located and within walking distance to just about everything. Whether you’re exploring downtown, heading to the beach, or grabbing a bite at a local restaurant, it’s all right nearby. The views from the hotel are absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect mix of the city skyline and the coastal scenery. It’s the kind of place where you can watch the sunset over the water right from your room. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality really made the stay feel special. If you’re planning a trip to St. Pete, I highly recommend Galaxy Hotel for its location, views, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back!

LOCATION was excellent!!! We walked everywhere we wanted to go. So many restaurants, bars, public spaces, museums and parks to visit within a few blocks of the hotel. Staff was very friendly, check in/check out process was easy, valet was quick to bring the car around. The hotel room was spacious, and the extra amenities in the room like the robe and slippers were a very nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom wasn't very clean, and there was hair in the bed under the sheets. Overall the room was very spacious, AC was cold, and for the price and location it was a great deal.

I would like you to know that Daniel is a very nice person to meet He helped me out a great deal and making sure that I was comfortable and Met to my expertise , Room is very simple there's nothing glamor But then again with Glamor you pay more The only drawback I had had is the rug kept sliding because they use tile flooring and it can get slippery when wet I was disappointed that the ice was in another part of the hotel downstairs in a locked door clerk can get but Danielle made it very pleasant and I would definitely return.

Like I previously mentioned the rug on the tile floor kept moving and the floor can be slippery if you're in bare feet You have to ask for ice But don't let discourage you The Galaxy is excellent Place to stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a positive experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of downtown, with all the main attractions just a short walk away. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel is brand new, and that was very noticeable. On my first night, it felt almost empty — like it was just me and the receptionist in the entire place. It gave off a slightly eerie vibe. There’s also still some construction going on, so certain amenities like the restaurant and rooftop terrace aren’t open yet. Once everything is fully up and running, I can see this place becoming a great spot. But for now, just be aware that it still feels like it’s in the “soft opening” phase.

Loved the place, location, staff, cleanliness. Went over a REALLY busy weekend, so expected to pay a premium price.

Bring your own pillow. They were like sleeping on giant packing bubbles. Our necks and backs hurt in the morning. Did expect quality beds and pillows at $400 a night. They honestly sucked, but I get it, some people aren’t very sanitary and the pillows were cheap, washable and disposable. Considering we were at the hotel only to shower and sleep, we expected better. We were not the only ones to be unhappy with them. I think if they got hit with something sharp, they would have popped.

Perfect central location, sparkly clean room, comfort and modern ambience, spectacular bay and downtown view, exceptionally helpful and professional staff. This was our first visit to St.Petersburg although dreaming for years to visit the one and only Dalí Museum here. My husband and I were delighted to discover an elegant, eclectic, artistic and vibrant beautiful city full of life, music and energy. I wish we had more time to stay, but there will be next time for sure. Special thanks and gratitude to Randy, Front Desk Supervisor, Paula and Ergul, and other receptionists on duty for their exceptionally professional service. Thanks to them, we have our new favorite location in Florida.

No dislikes. Just a small comment/wish - provide a paper towel roll and/or Kleenex tissue. Not a big deal , just nice to have.

The Hotels customer service is exceptional! Location was Exceptional! Cleanliness was Exceptional! Our room was on the 8th floor and was so quiet, with an exceptional view, good air quality as well ac was perfect. I liked that Randy called me right after checking in to see if everything was ok, we really don't expect that in other Hotels so that was thoughtful. And the pillows were perfect!!

Not knowing about Valet parking however it was worth it after the fact, no worries as the valet attendant parked our big boy with no problem! The roof top bar and restaurant are still not open,, this needs to get moving was one of the reasons I booked here and my reservation was made a long time ago so I figured by now it would be up and going. However, the location was exceptional so I really didn't miss it as we walked down tot he Pier to that roof top instead.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable visit. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff—especially Daniel at the front desk. He went above and beyond to assist me when I lost my Kindle, keeping me updated throughout the process until it was found and returned. His professionalism and kindness were truly appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for reliable service and a pleasant stay.

The location in St. Petersburg was excellent ... it was close to all we wanted to do and we were able to walk to our destinations. Also great access from the 275 as we were on a road trip. Randy at the front desk was outstanding ... extremely courteous and helpful --- he made our checkin and checkout seamless. We were also very pleased to have safe private parking for our car. Overall a great experience and place to stay. Betty and Gunter

The only thing that would have bee nice is better coffee in the room or a good coffee in the lobby.
