The location was great- close to downtown and a straight walk down the road to the bay. The staff were very friendly. I didn’t have breakfast there because I met someone at a restaurant, but I liked that there was ice water to help yourself to at the bar, and a comfortable lounge to wait until you had to leave for the airport.

I realize the hotel is historical, but the bathroom was so tiny that a larger person would not be comfortable squeezing past the sink to get into the small shower.

FROM THE MOMENT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN HELPED ME UP THE STAIRS TO THE HOTEL THEN UPSTAIRS TO MY ROOM THE STAY WAS SUPERB. tHE GUESTS WERE ALL YOUNG ATTRACTIVE MEN AND WOIMEN SOME HETEROSEXUAL SOME GAY WHO WERE LOQUACIOUS & EFFUSIVE. i FOUND FRIENDS IMMEDIATEKY EVEN THOUGH I AM 75 YEARS OLD. i ALSO LIKED THE RESPECT THE STAFF SHOWED ME AS i AN SEMI DISABLED AND HAD BEEN VOUNTEERING AT TAMPA AFTER MILTON THE HURRICANE. i WAS SUFFERING FROM INJURY. aT TREASURE iSLAND i ACCIDENTLY TRAMPED ON A HOT WIRE AS THE YELLOW TAPE AND SIGNS SUROUNDING THE DEADLY HOT WIRES HAD BLOWN AWAY. i WAS PUSHED INTO A GAPING HOLE TO AVOIID BEING ELECTROCUATED. LASTLY THE STAFF RESPECTED MY ANONYMITY AS I AM AN AWARD WINNING INTERNATIONAL PLAYWRIGHT AND KNOWN EMPATH OR SENSITUIVE. WHEN I WALKED DOWN THE STREET SOME PEOPLE YELLED OUT MY NAME AND ASKED FOR AN AUTOGRAPH. IN THIS DAY AND AGE KNOWN INDIVIDUALS IN LA AND NYC LACK PRIVACY. eSPECIALLY IN THIS CTBER AGE ONE SEES PHOTOS OF A GUY OR GAL

TOILET RUNS WATER AND SOMETIMES HAVE TO FUSH 3 TIMES. PERIOD. ALSO THREE TIMES THE PLASTIC KEY TO MYROOM DIDN T WORK SOMETIMES BOTH AND I HAD TO GO UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS. THE HANDSOME SUPER EFFICIENT GUY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS BUSY WITH OTHRS BUTWHEN FREE HELPED ME UP THE STAIRS AND OPENED MY DOOR.

Love supporting historic properties. This one has a lot of personality. Its own little bar in the lobby frequented by locals. Light breakfast items I believe with fresh coffee. Free parking lot close by or use meters.

There is construction going on as they are expanding and the opposite side is a public parking lot. It was a bit more noise than I would prefer but not intolerable. Double check if there is or is not a resort fee.

Love the decor and overall. It was quaint and cozy. Really enjoyed the patio with rocking chairs out front. The location was close enough to walk around and enjoy the city.

The flooring echoes throughout but not a deal breaker. Could just be the person above me had snuck an elephant in their room and turned their alarm clock to highest volume. Not the hotels fault.

Great location in downtown St Pete near the pier. Charming lobby and hotel bar. Free parking at nearby covered garage.

Bathroom was too small to use and room was very loud at night from the bar and parking lot outside. Also, we had to unplug our malfunctioning minifridge in the middle of the night because it was also making so much noise.

The hotel's location is great. The Scott cocktail bar in the lobby (since 1921) was a surprise - the great bar staff and eclectic crowd really added to the experience. First rate. Overall, value for the money at this historic gem is a solid YES. Don't let the window-A/C units throw you off - they work fine and the rooms are as nicely appointed as the rest of this charming property.

Although the hotel provides free parking, which is always a plus, the parking garage is a block and a half away. No biggie, but only fair to mention.

Stayed many times. Coffee at bar and cocktails and staff are fantastic. Love the historic cozy vibe. 1 night we were on our way out...passed the bar (and awesome bartenders) and then never left. Well at closing we did.

Nothing I didn't like. Had all that i needed. Maybe some snacks at bar.

Love the amount of towels and the free parking at the sundial is why I repeat book this place.

Small sinks nowhere to put my products. You should install a shelf or two.

The staff was amazing!! Kayla, Kavel, Slav and Derrick deserve gigantic raises!! They all went above and beyond to make sure me and my work associate had everything we needed!!

Bathroom and shower were really small.

Quaintness of historic building. Room was large.

Claw foot tub looked cool but hard to get in and out of plus was a little slippery.
