The breakfast included was lovely, the room was spacious with twin beds which were comfortable. It was in a great location in central Birmingham which was super helpful as we were attending a concert at the Utilita Arena (10 minute walk away) and the price was reasonable.

The door for the bathroom is a sliding door which also doubles as the door for the closet, the door did not fully close when u used the bathroom so left a tiny gap which could be a little uncomfortable for some. I shared a room with a male friend (separate beds) felt wierd when using the toilet or shower. Walls are pretty thin! Could unfortunately hear a lot of uncomfortable sounds from the room next door (bed squeaking etc.)

I had a great stay at the Hampton - really friendly and attentive Reception staff who were kind enough to upgrade my room and print documents for me for collection on the checkout day. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had good facilities - everything you could need. The location was great (I hadn't been to Birmingham before, but the street had food and drinks options, and was quiet enough to get rest over the night). The breakfast was hot and tasty, options were restocked very often, staff were very welcoming - overall very good value for money. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely book again.

The aircon was very loud - I did adjust it to the lowest mode, but then woke up a few times feeling very toasty. I guess I may be a light sleeper! Also, the breakfast was very busy, with not a lot of room to move around to get the options you wanted. I attended breakfast at around 0830am, so likely a busy time of day, but just to note for future travellers.

The room was comfortable. Bed was huge. I was very happy with the room.

I had the breakfast and it was quite disappointing. I am vegetarian. I had the plant based sausage and it was mushy in the middle and basically inedible. I saw that other patrons enjoyed the pork sausages though. There was not an option for plant based milk. The egg was reconstituted stuff and was frankly disgusting. The breakfast tomatoes were just canned tomatoes which I have never seen at a breakfast buffet. I tried it and... I can see why it is usually grilled tomatoes and not insipid canned chopped tomatoes... I saw a long queue to have breakfast on saturday morning which I managed to skip. There probably needs to be a second breakfast area to accommodate for the demand.

We were given a room right at the end of the corridor, by the stairwell, so no neighbours on either side, which meant we weren't disturbed nor disturbed people. Location on Broad Street was perfect for my needs (out socialising for the evening) The breakfast was nice, not so much choice but well cooked/hot food on offer and lots of choice with the continental breakfast things. Checkout time of 11am was better than the usual (for lots of hotels) 10am

Great location if you want a night out! Nice and clean rooms. The staff were lovely too. Breakfast was good selection waffles smelt and looked delicious! Disappointed no Fried eggs or mushrooms for full English but what i did have was very nice!!

No bottleled water in room but 2 glasses. Not enough sugar tea, coffee etc in room, I think it should be more than 1 each for each beverage for the whole stay! I like at least 3 as one before bed, and at least 2 before leave! The ac took forever to cool room down as came back and room was on 24° and was so hot, could of done with fan but was very earlier in morn. They are not big issues and could of been resolved quickly if I had the time to keep asking like I did for more than half a roll of toilet paper in toom!

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The food was tasty, and almost everything we wanted was available. Centre location, great access to nearby transport & venues. Staff were friendly.

The lifts were a struggle. The card scanner didn't always register to go to the floors with rooms on. The prices for the "24/7" menu were incredibly steep for what you were provided. Some of the food we wanted wasn't available at the time. 100ml of ice cream - £6.95. The room we were given had a locked cupboard door in. I presume there were pipes in there as you could hear when people from other rooms went to the toilet/flushed their toilet regularly throughout the night.

The location of the hotel is ideal for those wishing to spend time visiting Birmingham City Centre or attending an event at the nearby Indoor Arena which is only 10 mins walk away from the hotel. The hotel has an entrance on Broad Street or you can drive your car up to their private car park and then take the lift from there up one floor to the reception area. The bar and dining areas are modern as are the rooms which are similarly modern with all facilities required for a one or more nights stay there. The breakfast was excellent with multi choice of hot and cold items with staff friendly and helpful at all times. The overnight car parking prices were very reasonable and we would definitely stop here again when visiting Birmingham.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel in my opinion, the prices are reasonable and if you require further supplies for room facilities they are readily available.

I've used the hotel many times and they met my standards as usual, and was very happy to have a decent queen sized bed. My request for a high floor was as closely worked with as possible. The breakfast was cooked well and generally happy with the view and hotel.

A few things with the room let down the rating. The bathroom door didn't quite close properly easily and probably needed it's runners greasing and cleaning down. You had to shove it shut. The table could do with a mirror, as only having one mirror in the main room was a downside for my partner as she couldn't sit to do her makeup. And I reported a bulb directly above the bed on Thursday of my stay that it was flickering back and forth, was told it would be looked at Friday during the day but when I returned it still flickered. Unsure if the bulb replaced was an issue or if it was a wiring problem, but this meant we couldn't use the main light due to this flicker.

The Room was spacious, clean & comfortable (we had a wheelchair accessible room) The staff were all very friendly The location was good for the Utilita Arena & walk in to the city centre.

We kept having to get extra tea, coffee & sugar from reception as there was never enough for us in the room. Breakfast was so busy on Sunday, we ended up not having any as the queue for anything cooked was ridiculous. The fire alarm went off at 2am on Sunday morning which resulted in us standing out in the wind & rain for over 30 minutes. I have to say, I thought this situation wasn't handled well at all. Not 1 member of staff came outside to let us know what was happening at all. I dread to think what would have happened if there was a real fire! The hotel is in a lively location so we could here the music late into the night even from the 11th floor.

Staff were extremely accommodating. All very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our group was given complementary Prosecco to celebrate our reunion. Breakfast was very good. Room was spotless, shower great. Location was very good for getting to the centre and places we wanted to visit plus buses and the tram very good for travel across the city and passed right outside the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel our 2nd night and it was very good

The dining area was rather like a works cafeteria. Unfortunately there is no lounge area where we could relax comfortably and have a drink in the evening
