It was comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I only slept in the hotel, as I had plans elsewhere, so I didn't eat there on this occasion. However, I've had breakfast there before and it was nice.

That you have to pay for parking. This wasn't the case before, I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times before. I was informed by email that there was building work taking place and paid parking after the booking was made. The building work didn't affect me, maybe because it was the weekend, but maybe a note should be added to the hotel information before a booking is made. I'd booked a non-refundable room, so I had no choice but to stay there and pay for parking, otherwise I would have lost my money. The hotel is nice, though.

It was local to many things we came here for a staycation with the kids so it was nice to be so close to so many eatery's and activities

Just two things I called up prior to book and ask if me & My sister could be on the same floor. I would told yes that's fine But on arrival due her having a small room we was told it's impossible which I didn't think was very nice. Secondly I was asked about cleaning services for my room and I was told it would be done at 11am so I made sure we was up and out with plenty of time so you can only imagine my surprise to come back at 1 o'clock and the room still hadn't been serviced but the lovely housekeeper quickly attending to my needs a .. Young black Lady she wore glasses very attentive.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of occasions over the past few years and I can say when I stayed recently l was very impressed. They have been improving their rooms and each floor over the past year and it's paid off. The staff clearly work very hard and are always polite and professional and try to accommodate guests as much as possible. Thank you for improving the rooms and bathrooms it will pay off in the long term as more people will appreciate what you have to offer. We stayed to dine and enjoyed the hospitality in the dining area. We had rarely had time to do that before but it was good food and so glad that we didn't go out to eat elsewhere. The bar staff are also very helpful. Breakfast was its usual good quality. Much appreciated how much they offer and its quality. It is such a pleasant and convenient hotel for London visits to theatres and outings. It does offer good value for money too. Please keep updating the rooms and bathrooms and ensure the workers are happy. Congratulations 10/10. Thank you.

Nothing to fault at all really. We got a big bed which we had booked for at the time of booking. Perhaps all rooms should have a small fridge in every room during the very hot weather. It is a surprise if you hadn't realised you did not book a room with a fridge. You do offer very good value and it is all highlighted in your professionalism and staff who are helpful.

The hotel reception was well decorated and the reception staff where incredibly polite both with check in and check out. Extra pillows where available and an ironing board so I could freshen up my uniform. The tv was a good size with plenty of channels available. Staff offered us breakfast which we declined but it was appreciated. Paying for parking was also really easy as its online. The hotel was really close to a retail park, so plenty of options for food and drinks. Over all, the hotel exceeded my expectations and if I am in the area again, I will be booking here

Bedding was a little dirty with black marks on the blankets and you could hear a lot of noise coming from the corridors

The accommodation was good. A nice big room - the bed was very comfortable. Good wardrobe space although more shelf space would have been preferred. The only shelf in the wardrobe held an iron and spare towels, but was also too high for me to comfortably reach. The bathroom was nice and clean. The toilet roll is placed in an awkward postiion, one has to be a contortionist to reach it. Disappointed with the shower, which wasn't very powerful. When i tried to lower the shower head, the whole attachment kept coming away from the wall. (I forgot to report it). Otherwise the room was good. I was very pleased with the service at dinner. Being gluten free (intolerance) and a red meat intolerance also i struggled with finding something suitable on the menu. However, the chef came out and spoke to me and went through the allergy menu with me and delivered my food to me which was very good. I could not fault the service from any member of staff. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

First impressions are very important and I liked as soon as I arrived. I arrived early and was able to check in early too after a slight wait. Very ckean Large airy rooms. Great staff all through hotels cleaners excellent. Food great too. When I got to my original room there was an issue with no water. And within 20 mins it was sorted and moved and upgraded to an even bigger room. I was there due to a close family member departing and a very tough time for me but I was made to feel at home. Thank you.

My Husband and I were attending a party at a nearby venue (Aug 2024) so we booked a double room for the night at the London Aerodrome. We were upgraded to an Executive double room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean, spacious and had a large air conditioning unit which was very welcome due the summer heat. Also the bonus of a small fridge. We didn't partake of the hotel snacks other than a cup of tea but it was nice to be able to store our own water! The front desk staff were courteous and friendly. We didn't have any meals so can't comment on that. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay and would consider staying again if it suited our needs.

Good location- central Croydon. Excellent price £74 for a double room including breakfast for 2. Great hot cooked breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Parking available. Good sized room. Comfy bed and pleasing bar and dining areas plus loved the history of the place. Photos of Aviation History. There was once a thriving airport near there. A repeat stay as we stayed here in April 2023. Sorry no photos this time but look at the website. All good.

A little difficult finding things in the breakfast area- ordinary tea and bread to toast. I expect because they were very busy they did not top up the jams, teas etc. but once asked they were only too happy to help. Only a small inconvenience.

Very restful night’s sleep. Good soundproofing between rooms so did not hear any noise from other rooms. Staff very efficient, professional, approachable and polite. Was very pleased to find I had an upgrade to my room due to the ongoing refurbishments. I stayed in room 307 one of the executive double rooms instead of a standard small double I had booked. The bathroom fittings and the aerodome photo backsplash, spa shower head and heated towel rail were excellent and on theme with the hotel history. The bedroom was clean and spacious. The wardrobe was full size with hair dryer, ironing board safe and extra shelves and two more pillows. The curtains were a restful green good quality and lined, and drapes were elegant and the curtain was well fitted to provide total blackout and good sound insulation. Huge widescreen tv for any sports fan or movie lover and a full size desk. Elegant full size modern armchair. Nice clean mini fridge. Good variety of teas, decaf and regular coffee. But no hot chocolate sachets!

1. Disappointed there were no hot chocolate sachets in the tea tray selection. 2. The overall elegance of the bathroom was slightly marred by 2 cracked tiles on the bath side wall. The towel rail is over the toilet and there are no hooks or hanging rail on the opposite wall at the other end of the bath. The bathroom would benefit from a hanging rail at the end of the bath on the wall opposite the toilet, so that when you step out so you can easily reach the towel and there is somewhere to hang your robe or nightwear. 3. One of the pillow cases on the bed had something on it which showed it had not been changed.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff, helped us with the parking, sorting the issue in our room. Good value for money. Hotel is clean, modern. However rooms has a few beauty marks, worn over the years. But that is ok with us as we only stayed over the night in the room. There was a iron, iron board, hair dryer, towels in the room. Breakfast was lovely. Plus parking spaces, there was enough that weekend we stayed. You need to pay £10/day but I am happy to do so as parking in the area is always an issue. I am pretty sure we will stay again.
