This motel looks like an older design from the outside, albeit well-maintained. Get inside and you see serious style. Some places I stay at three times the price have things that annoy me like only one armchair, only one desk chair etc. Not so here. Everything was comfortable, and to my tastes at least, stylish. Two comfortable armchairs with a coffee table in between. Dining table and two chairs with power available for my MacBook. There's a ceiling fan and a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reverse cycle aircon which is far from the cheapest option. Usual Microwave, fridge etc. Nice bathroom with a very stylish and efficient "rain wave"/handheld shower. It won me as soon as I saw a Nespresso coffee machine instead of a tube of instant. So I was to be seen drinking my coffee sitting on the Jack and Jill outside furniture outside my room, comfortably under cover. The rather cunning extra awning hadn't been deployed at the time. Hadn't been needed. It's walkable distance to Ulladulla Harbour and cafés. Less than 100m to KFC, not that I'm prone to saying KFC!

Everything was perfect except that the bathroom tap only put out hot or warm water - so we couldn’t drink the water or fill up our water bottles. Other than that/once that’s repaired, it was the perfect stay!

The bathroom sink tap needs repairing - even on the cold setting, the water came out warm. So we couldn’t drink the water / fill up our water bottles / when brushing our teeth we rinsed and used warm water. Just fix that and the accom is perfect.

The room, including the bathroom, had been renovated recently, and was very clean with a modern decor. The furniture (small dining table & chairs, + 2 lounge chairs) were a nice addition to the room. Overall, a comfortable room that was above your "average" motel. The motel is within walking distance of pubs, clubs & shops.

Clean and comfortable room. Cathy and Kim extremely helpful. Nothing is any trouble. Great people and wonderful place to stay stay. Highly recommend staying at the Sandpiper Motel.

If you don't drive it is a a little bit of a walk yo yhe main centre, not much and not a problem. There was nothing that I didn't like it is a fantastic place to stay.

Comfy rooms and staff for me were great. Weather was terrible, and for a little while I was not sure I was even going to make it there. I manged to get in touch with the motel, and she advised if I couldn't make it by 7pm she'd arrange a "self check in" no problem. I got in at 7 and she was still there, friendly and helpful!

Nothing really - a little further out than I would like, but there wasn't much available for me to chose from to be honest.

The checking was smooth and having just had a bad experience in Batemans Bay we were a bit sceptical but the room was clean and well laid out. The suprise was on day 1 when we came back to find the bed made and rubbish bins cleaned. Never had that in a motel before. Everything was well sorted and we will definitely rebook.

Lovely modern room but still has old fashioned external features. Even though it is on the Princes Highway, we didn't here any traffic noise at night.

We had a microwave and toaster but no crockery or cutlery. We did bring our own food supplies but had to go and buy takeaway because we didn't have any plates or cutlery.

Very warm and welcoming host and great communication. The room was lovely and big for our family of five. Lovely updated bathroom with a nice shower. Very clean and comfortable with a big kitchen and lots of utensils and even a coffee machine. Nice and close to town and the harbour. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

Kim, the manager is a very helpful person. The big storm had blown in and she assisted me to the room, holding an umbrella over my head. She also gave us an alternative room choice because of the storm. The room is nicely furnished with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Shower hot with dual shower heads. Frig a decent size.

Could do with more and brighter lighting.

The decor. The colours and furniture were nice. Padded fabrics and small living plants in pots. Was a surprise. Modern bathroom. Good bed. I'll go back again.

Room on the small side. Small TV screen but enough.
