We loved the location and amenity and of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It was very convenient to have such a wonderful restaurant within the complex. The reception staff were really lovely and accommodating.
We were surprised by the level of noise that we heard coming from the rooftop dining area. Chairs being dragged across the floor, and cleaning up in the kitchen late at night..and then again early in the morning as the breakfast session began. Given that we were on the ground floor (room 110), I can only think that the people on the second floor had a much worse experience. If this level of noise carries between floor, the owners need to revisit the type of flooring used in the restaurant/bar area.

Very, very friendly, helpful and service minded staff at the reception throughout the stay. Helped solve challenges with the spa and arranged transportation for my further trip. Clean, spacious, comfortable and well-kept rooms. Nice rooftop area with a good variety be both at the pool and in evening. The beach is very close and really amazing. It was a very nice stay, close to the beach, with pool &cocktails, comfortable and clean rooms and friendly people. Will recommend and would potentially return.
Improvements are probably first world problems. Balcony had a view over the roof of the building below. An idea could be to decorate or cover it somehow so it seems more appealing. Information about and communication with spa can be improve , as I had questions regarding the treatments prior to my stay which ended up in misunderstanding/ miscommunication when I went there for treatment. Luckily, the receptionist helped solve the issue. Unfortunate with implementation of the bad European habit of serving expensive water at the restaurant.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Bannisters Pavilion. From the fantastic location to the modern rooms with a supremely comfortable king bed, every detail exceeded our expectations. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was a highlight—delicious food with a beautiful setting. The hotel staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the thoughtful gesture to acknowledge our 20th anniversary was both unexpected and deeply appreciated. Another great touch was the courtesy bus that transferred us to the sister hotel for our dinner reservation at Rick Stein’s Restaurant. We’ll definitely be back again!

Welcomed with a glass of bubbles. Stylish hotel, delicious food, welcoming, cheerful and helpful staff which made our stay extra special. Courtesy transport to sister hotel for evening meal at Rick Stein’s. Every member of staff was enthusiastic and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.
Our room was stylish and well equipped but as we were on the ground floor at the front of the building the room was dark and the outside terrace which faced the road was not a very inviting place to sit. The roof top terrace was pleasant but could be improved by being swept daily and cushions put out for guests, some seating remained covered all day which gave a slight feeling of neglect.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Certainly enjoyed using the pool area and rooftop bar and provision of umbrellas for shade. Staff were always very helpful and pleasant. While we did not use this area thought the top level for adults only was a terrific space. We used the courtesy van, a fantastic idea to share dining facilities with the other Bannisters. Car parking was easy to use and appreciated.
This is only a minor detail is if you wanted to swim there was limited seating around the pool to use, particularly during busy times. However appreciate this is a small area to accommodate a number of long reclining chairs, tables and umbrellas.

Enjoyed the easy availability of the shuttle bus between the two sites
Did not like the extra charges levied for a second cup of coffee at breakfast

Best part is to be able to use both facilities and restaurants. Love the atmosphere and being close to Mollymook beach. Our room was pretty comfy but I was a bit disappointed to be charged $120 to add a cot in my bedroom. Although there was a roach in the bathroom ai still would recommend Bannisters Pavilion for holidays

Perry good location, not near the beach but a short drive. Across the road from excellent little shops & cafes, restaurants & deli for any little extras.
Pool area was a bit small, not enough lounges. Just a tight space so probably hard to rectify, but the vibe was good! Other than that, was great. And the carpet in our room, just had a smell to it. Friends stayed in a pet-friendly room with floor boards and it was lovely!

Room was spacious. View over the trees was peaceful. Sounds of birds in the morning was lovely. Room was quiet. Bathroom and provisions were great. I really enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the pillows. I usually overheat without the air conditioner on but was comfortable throughout the night without the air con.
Our room had a faint smell of damp when it had been closed up for a while. Once we opened the verandah door we were OK. I personally like to have an option of rye, wholemeal or sourdough bread for breakfast and there was only white sourdough available. However, this is not a big deal as the breakfast was delicious.

Nice quiet spot. 5 minute walk to the beach. Small supermarket nearby. Very comfortable with everything you need. Small pool but there weren’t too many guests and it wasn’t school holidays so absolutely fine. Lovely restaurant. Only disadvantage is there are no views but this was expected given the location which is a few streets back from the beach.
