Staff very nice. Food was delicious in the restuarant. We ate dinner & breakfast there. Our rooms were nice, but far apart. Pool was nice to relax by, there are outdoor showers to rinse off at when coming back from the beach, that was nice too.

on line booking needs to state a little clearer that the villas are located down the street, 5 minute walk away. With a locked gate, so when my parents walked down from the hotel to visit they could not get in with their hotel key, to visit my family in the hotel villas, unless you met them at the gate. However at check in we were told that the villas were a walk a away. I just wish I knew that at booking time.

This quiet boutique hotel was amazing! Perhaps because it was low season, we found it quiet, super clean and had a very restful sleep. The pool was never packed and access to the beach was amazing! Please be very mindful of the beach as it is a surfers dream - meaning the waves are very rough but you can easily play with the waves if you are a fair swimmer. Beach was basically empty. The resturant is overpriced and not worth the money. Strongly recommend in the area Beach Break Cafe, Pots and Bowls, Cafe Mar Azul and Kike's Place for local amazing food.

Would like to have had breakfast included, but other than that, amazing! Also the TV didn't work but we were usually so tired by the end of the day that we would crash out.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was very delicious and there was a good variety of items on the menu. The hotel staff at both the restaurant and the hotel office were wonderful. They were all very pleasant, courteous, and extremely helpful. Jose and Irene in the restaurant, and Angie and David in the office were particularly exceptional in the personal service and assistance they provided us. We really enjoyed interacting with the hotel staff.

The hotel room was comfortable, but the shower in the room often turned from hot to cold and back again- making it difficult to have a constant temperature when one showered. We were also in a room near the street and were awakened at 5:30am a few times by people parking and getting their surfboards and other equipment out as they headed toward the beach.

We had the pleasure of staying at RipJack in mid December and loved it! The room was big and spacious with a good-sized fridge and great AC! The pool was right outside our door, and it was nice to have a table and chairs on our wee patio. The coffee and water stations were a bonus, as well as the communal hammocks and ping-pong table. We also enjoyed the happy hour cocktails almost daily, super delicious! & the food at the restaurant was also very good. The hotel had the perfect location to the amazing beach and little village, and we loved the quietness of the area and the lack of people.

At reception upon checkin, when asked about local shops and restaurants, we were told there was nothing around, only what the hotel offered. Thankfully, we discovered very quickly that was not the case. Pool and restaurant hours could be extended, especially on nights when there was live music.

The location is unmatched. Beds were comfy and good bathrooms too - it was also nice that our room had a small table and chairs outside. Some coffee was provided which was nice for the morning, and we also liked that there was a small fridge for drinks, fruit etc. The drive in is totally fine and there is parking right outside the property. Lastly, given there isn't much in the way of restaurants in a walking distance it was nice to see so much variety on the restaurant menu.

Wonderful stay in one of the villas. The hotel is super close to the beach and has everything you need. The food at the restaurant was good quality. I took 2 classes (yoga and pilates) and the kids enjoyed the multiple pools and the wild life around the hotel! We did not have a car and were able to walk around everywhere in the neighborhood.

There is some construction on the adjacent road but it didn't bother us.

The property is close to the beautiful Playa Grande and the grounds are beautiful. There are two pools and each room has a nice hammock to chill in. Despite being right next to the road, it's very peaceful, and the gardens make you feel like you are in a lush environment. The yoga studio is also very beautiful and spacious.

It is a bit pricey for the size of the room but otherwise, it's a great option if you want to be close to the beach.

Everything about the property was amazing. Every touch has been thought about. The front desk staff and the dining staff are amazing. The group fitness classes were great and a must take. Everything was amazing, all way down to the owner, and you can tell she cares about every single guests experience and is fully hands on with her staff. I can’t wait to return!

Very nice location, the amenities are nice, swimming pool beach volley field next to the bar, playa grande is literally at the door. Nice restaurants onsite and around. I definitely recommend it.

The only minus is the place is a bit noisy as the rooms are very close to one another, the beds in the standard rooms are a bit small (I am 1,88m).

The staff was very friendly and the swimming pools and the access to the beach were great.

I would give 10 if the breakfast was included and TV in the room. The menu in the restaurant was not very flexible. Some of the most appealing dishes were not available for dinner. Happy hour cocktails didn't taste at all too much water.
