There's not really anything to complain about...

We were surprised by how good this place was! All the furniture and equipment are of a really high standard and far exceeded our expectations. The location is an 8-minute walk from the center, which was perfect for us. It allowed us to easily visit the city during the day and enjoy a good night's sleep at the end of the day, without the noise you would encounter if you stayed in the Ermou area.

The property is in good condition — very clean and recently renovated. The beds are comfortable with crisp, spotless white linens. We had a lovely time staying in this apartment. While it can be a bit noisy at night (especially if you’re used to the quiet of Swiss life), everything else was great. A very pleasant bonus was the bottles of water kindly provided by the owner. The recommended taxi driver was outstanding — punctual, professional, and a safe driver. We really enjoyed riding with him, and he was always available when needed.

Comfortable beds, well-spaced bathroom.

Spiros who picked us up from another hotel was punctual and very helpful. He brought our luggage to our room which involved going up the stairs and I wouldn't have done it myself. We used his services again for a tour of Athens and again to go to the airport on our departure day. I will definitely recommend him to my friends back home if they happened to be traveling through Athens. The property itself was comfortable but its location was not great. An aimless walk away from the property for a few blocks got us into a poor neighborhood and we got that feeling of being insecure right away. We asked a kind pharmacist for directions to a nice dining place and she directed us in the opposite direction, pointing to a roof-top restaurant a block away, describing the place in our original direction 'not safe'.

Mr. Konstantinos was very helpful on the phone whenever I had a question for him. We could not meet each other due to a brief time we were there at the property but hope to see him during a future travel to Athens. Please see the 2nd paragraph in my answer to the previous section.

The facilitites were excellent. The decor was spooky. Especially scarey for the kids, but for the grownups as well. Unfortunate that it was so off-putting when the rooms themselves were fine.

Get rid of the scary skeleton pictures and other Halloween-like "art." Some of the furniture also was less than comfortable. :Chairs and sofa felt like used furniture.

The stay in the place was very good and without problems, the building is quiet and the room is cleaned daily if required. Extras such as water, tea or coffee are available for free, there is even a Pacman machine at the bottom of the stairs. Konstatinos was super nice to us and gave us a much bigger room with a terrace which we were very grateful for. He also pointed us to some nearby places for dinner, Seychelles was one of them and I highly recommend it as it is a nice place and the food is delicious. The distance to the center, monasteraki and Placa is 20-25 minutes walking, straight ahead. We never used public transportation, although there is a subway station a few blocks away. If you want to enjoy Athens, it is a good place to stay.

Everything was quite correct, no complaints at all

Overall, my review of Bespoke House Athens is highly positive. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay very welcoming. The room itself was lovely, providing a comfortable environment. Additionally, the weather in mid to late March was amazing, adding to the enjoyment of the trip. Furthermore, the location of the accommodation wasn't too far from central Athens, making it convenient for exploring the city. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Bespoke House Athens to others looking for a pleasant stay in Athens.

One aspect that I found slightly inconvenient was that the shower room was located within the bedroom itself. While this setup may offer some privacy concerns for some guests, it didn't pose a major issue during my stay. However, it's worth noting for those who prefer separate bathroom facilities. Additionally, the lack of a small wardrobe in the room made it slightly challenging to organize my belongings. These were minor issues and didn't greatly affect my overall enjoyment of the accommodation. I would still recommend Bespoke House Athens to others looking for a pleasant stay in the city.

Overall, we had a very positive experience. We found the price to be excellent for the quality and amenities provided, which made our stay feel like great value. A special shout-out to Konstantinos, the owner, who was fantastic – his welcoming and helpful nature truly made a difference.

The only significant issue we encountered during our stay was with the Wi-Fi, which unfortunately wasn't working properly at the time. This was a bit inconvenient, but it didn't overshadow the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Lots of character with spacious, CLEAN, comfortable rooms. Konstantinos was an excellent host that reached out and assisted even before we got there. Not being familiar with Athens, was a little concerned this hotel wasn’t in the center of the city but it turned out there was nothing to worry about. Uber taxis, or Mr. Spiros, made getting around effortless. On top of that, the hotel is within a six minute walk to the tour bus stop #13. Plenty of restaurants close by. Would absolutely stay here again!!
