Location was really good for a night or two. I would not stay more because there's not really much to do except for the tour in Khao Sok. Staff was very friendly and we booked the tour through the resort. The tour was HALF the price than whatever you find in Get Your Guide, and it was PRIVATE. So please if you go to caligo do book the tour with Yun / Iun or however the Thai name is written. He was GREAT.

Dinner was not great. Pineapple rice and Korean Fried Chicken was really good. However the pad thai / tom yum fried rice and other noodles we had were not good in comparison to other Thai food we had in Bangkok / Krab / Phi Phi / Koh Tao

The view is breath-taking and every room feels like you are on the top of the world, from bed, from the bath or from the balcony. Amazing. The staff are very kind. I got food poisoning whilst I was there (not from the food here) and they went out of their way to look after me. The set up of this hotel is like a 5* but it is missing the level of service/small things like patchy cleaning in the rooms/bits of damage - but this is not a complaint because I'm sure if this was done it would be double the price. So you can have the 5* set up & view with a few rough around the edges things which make it a little more adventurous! Would love to come back here and stay even longer.

Very friendly staff (though limited English) and they are a small number of staff so don't expect super fast service. Location is near the lake but you would still need a taxi/scooter to get around. Taxi's are very expensive here as it is not built up (even in Kaoh Sok town which is around an hour away) so highly recommend booking a scooter from the hotel which is very reasonable.

The room was a perfect private bungalow overlooking the mountains. The bathtub was a very nice touch with a view of the outdoors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food for order was very fresh and good. The breakfast food choices were basic, fruit was limited but it was included so there was not too much as far as expectations they had lunch type options for breakfast and they were very good.

I recently stayed at Caligo Resort and it was truly a wonderful experience. The resort offers a spectacular view that took my breath away every morning. Its location is perfect, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. The property was immaculately clean, showing a high level of maintenance. What truly stood out for me was the exceptional service provided by the staff - they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Caligo Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

All was good

The view is just breathtaking. One of our best stays in Thailand. We ordered dinner and it was delivered to our room. There was a confusion with our order and they quickly fix it and send another dish. The staff is extremely helpful. They help us book the taxi there from airport and (even though we were staying in a hotel at the lake by then) they help book a other taxi to krabi. Excellent service.

It is a little remote so you'll need to use taxi to move in and out and it's a little pricey. ( 50 USD from Surat Thani airport to the hotel) The breakfast was very simple for the price you pay. Not much to do around it, I wouldn't stay longer than 2 days.

Most comfortable bed in our trip in Thailand. Sad we could only stay for 1 night. The view was stunning. With a bathtub in the bedroom and a separate room for a shower. The infinity pool next to the restaurant is nice. It's quiet. It's a nice place to rest. Although the price seems high, from what I've seen at other places we've stayed, I think it's a pretty good deal. The next day we've seen the floating hotels on the lake, that go for the same price. We were so glad we stayed at Caligo!

The abandoned bar next to the pool would've been nice to see active. The restaurant can deliver room service. I think the resort comes more to life withput this option, and only the restaurant at the pool.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, and the views are breathtaking - you can literally just sit there though-out the day and take it all in. Other than this, the staff was very helpful and sweet, we have also booked a full day lake tour through the hotel and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The rooms were clean, and had everything you could possibly need.

Nothing really, just that there is nothing really around the hotel, but for us that wasn’t a big deal, and we just had food at the hotel. Also breakfast could have had a bigger variety, but yet again there were some options to choose from.

Wonderful views over the valleys. Very peaceful, friendly personnel. They are renting scooters. Staff was organising requests with ease like tickets and taxis. I could not get why the hotel is not more popular, because everything about my opionion felt very fine.

Food delivery in the evening could be 1 hour later up to 8pm. No safety deposit in the room. Restaurant room felt little cool from the athmosphere.

This little gorgepus hotel is super calm and quiet, just right for someone who wants to chill. The room is pretty and has amazing , breathtaking view. The staff is really nice too. Only thing is, be a bit careful on the balcony. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to relax. I would highly recommend this place !

The safety in the balcony area should be improved. The handrails are abou 30cm tall. If it wasn't for this I'd give it a 10 out of 10 :)

Quietness. Attentive and cooperative staff. They suggested us good restaurants and easily arranged local transportations. Pool and room views are the best! Very spacious rooms.

Hotel is a bit run down - but rooms are OK and very big and functional - and would need a bit of maintenance and better cleaning on the outdoor areas.
