We chose this accommodation because we wanted to avoid big city noise and and it fulfilled our expectations - we really loved the quiet surroundings and beautiful nature everywhere. The hotel was very clean and also breakfast was very delicious - every morning they served scrambled eggs, fresh pastry, ham, beans, bacon, various fruit and vegetables, yoghurts, juice and many other. Personal was a bit struggling with English, however they were always very nice and helpful. One day we went on a trip early and they have prepared sandwiches for us and brought it straight to our room a day before, which we appreciated a lot (this service was free of charge).

It is hard to find what we didn't like. I can think of only one thing which is short shower curtains which causes water to splash everywhere on the floor while taking shower. Also I would suggest to get more flowers or decorations into the hotel rooms - all walls are mostly empty. But otherwise we had a perfect stay.

Quinta is about 20 minutes away from the airport, 15 minutes from highway with a car. If you prefer silent and peaceful cosy stay after a whole day of walking around the island and with delicious local food and pleasant staff at the end of the day, this is a place you'll enjoy. In the morning tasty fresh breakfast to give you strength for hiking on levadas or just being lazy, as I was 😁. Definitely recommending ☀️

The best part of this accommondation is definitely its location. Not only was it half an hour drive from almost everything we wanted to see, but it was also in the middle of island, making it beautifully calm and perfect to sleep. Just keep in mind that it is on almost 700m above the sea level, so it’s has a certain level of air moist - it was positive for us, but it’s challenging to dry out bathing suits for example :)

Beautiful property, the staff is so so so so kind. It is also very clean and the room are super spacious with QC. I have to say, please actually take the main roads. My first time coming, I took the narrow and steep google maps road and I got stuck uphill a few minutes away and I got the scare of my life with damaging my car. I mean it, its not worth it and I’m an experienced drive too…

The location was amazing and peaceful with views to the mountains. It was great to arrive after a long day to this piece of paradise. We were located above/behind the main building in one of the 4 little "apartments" (no kitchen though). We had a little patio where we could eat our food and relax. Truly one of the most fantastic accomodations I have ever been. Parking was behind the houses. Driving up to the location was tricky, extremely steep, narrow with lots of sharp turns. But it's up the hills so... Breakfast was okay, not a big variety but basic things.

We wanted to see the sunrise so asked the breakfast to be packed. It was not possible as staff only started around half8. I understand that. But theyápá offered to pack us a picknic food for extra money while we paid for breakfast we could not eat. This was not very nice. Other than that greatest accomodation ever.

This lovely house at a beautiful, qiuet place. The staff was very kind.

The house amplified every sound, so we heard some very awkvard noises from the neighbouring rooms at the middle of the night. Also during the day the doors were slammed so loud we jumped at it.

Madeira had a storm and we could not land due to the high winds. Beatriz was very helpful and offered a change of dates, so we didn’t lose our money. This was not expected but was totally appreciated. They deserve 10 for their hospitality and positive attitude. Beatriz - your gesture was appreciated and we will see you on our next visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Quinta Da Cova Do Milho. The place was spotlessly clean and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira

The main hotel area is high quality a lovely lounge to relax in especially with the log burner on a cool night. The staff were very polite and helpful

The rooms at the top are quite basic and probably in need of an update. There are steep hills to navigate both of foot to and from the main hotel and also by car to leave the site.

Amazing views into the valley and very quiet

We had a room in the annex which was private and offered us some outside space and also more of that view! However the room itself and the bathroom a little Basic. We saw bedrooms in the main building which were probably more recently renovated and had a little veranda. Nice breakfast.
