The staff was amazing. Especially Dali, he catered to our every needs! Fluent in English, German and French. The was a very nice extra as well.

Better communication with regards to transport services. A notice at the hotel entrance to say buses do not run on a Sunday into the ferry port also the road is closed on Tuesdays due to a market do no buses then either Would have saved a frustrating hour and a half wait in scorching heat with a disabled husband Also lack of taxis around and minimum charge is €18 whether you go 1 mile or miles this added €37on to our dinner bill ( €1 extra for paying by card !! A notice to this effect could be displayed aseell

Clean and comfortable. Good sized room for family to stay in with separate area for the kids to sleep. The whole hotel was very clean and they have two pools. Smaller one higher up and larger one (kids preferred) on the ground floor. Hotel is in a good location at the southern end of the lake.

There was very little not to like at the hotel. The only minor thing I would ask is, when requesting a parking spot several days arriving, an email confirmation would have been helpful. That said, the staff had a spot for me on arrival and were very helpful.

The swimming pool is lovely, a perfect place to relax after exploring Sirmione/ the lake. The night Porter, Dali, is a great guy! He was very friendly, happy and accommodating of our requests for an early coffee!

Our shower temperature was inconsistent. Even when not touching the taps the temperature would change. It was fine for us as we were there in August, so didn’t mind when it went cold, but I imagine it would be a bit annoying in winter if you’re really wanting a nice hot shower.

The spa is amazing and there is also a swimming pool with a great view. The staff is very friendly as well.

We missed a restaurant. There aren’t any walking distance option.

Our night manager was very professional. His warmest welcome makes us think to stay another day longer. But due to our planed trip we could not be longer.

Everything was perfect

The night manager Dali was very welcoming and helpful. The room that was given to us was exactly what we expected. We had a balcony and a great view of the lake and mountains.

The breakfast was ordinary.

This place really is a palace, but without all the over-the-top Venetian fluff :) Everything inside and out is clean and cozy. The staff make sure you never get lost navigating the rooms and floors. The mattress and pillows are so comfy, that you won’t want to get up and go to the spa :) But trust me, you definitely should, because the spa is beautiful, tidy and has a great atmosphere. Breakfast is varied, fresh, and delicious. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Maybe there aren’t enough of them, or they’re just tired of that cute little classical music loop. It would be awesome to switch to some lounge music, or if they want to keep it classical, some minimalist composers like Arnold Schoenberg, Philip Glass, or Steve Reich would fit perfectly. The path down to the lake is really close, then just a 1,5 kilometers along the shore, and you’re right in the center. Pure bliss! This hotel is truly fantastic, one of the best in Desenzano. Highly recommend it for myself and all my friends. I had such a lovely time relaxing and chilling out in this quiet and lovely place.
