Friendly and helpful before and upon check in, calling me to check ETA. I was automatically upgraded to a better room. It was a cold winter evening and they had made an effort to put on the heater in the room. Although the hotel restaurant was fully booked I was told where I could find good food in town. Room was very clean, very spacious. Wifi was fast enough, shower powerful.

I was advised that the water from the taps wasn't very tasty, so there was filtered water in the fridge. There was indeed, but there wasn't a great deal of it (enough for a couple of cuppas).

Excellent location on the Main Street, with an easy walk to pubs and cafes for meals. Lovely gardens at the Inn with seating so that you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very easy to find, with ample parking. We were in a motor inn room, which looked modern and was very comfortable with a great bathroom. The town is flat which made it very easy to walk around and admire the many, many beautiful homes. Helpful, friendly staff. Free laundry if needed. Loved our stay.

Not a negative, just a note to be aware that the town water is mineral heavy and not to everyone’s taste. The hotel provides drinking water in a jug in the room, and a larger water cooler in the hallway for refills. Also just an fyi for travellers, the fridge in the room is a small bar fridge, just enough for nibbles and a bottle of bubbly, but not an esky full (if you’re hoping to refreeze big ice blocks etc, you won’t be able to here)

Lovely place to stay, well located a short stroll to the main street and presented really well. The front reception lady was super friendly and helpful, even ringing to see when we were arriving so that she could turn the heater on in our room. The room was very clean and I loved the electric blanket on the bed, we would definitely stay again.

Our only minor criticism was that we could hear the TV from the room next door quite clearly, luckily they switched it off at a reasonable hour

Room was very spacious, with large double beds, and small table for eating. Toaster, microwave and crockery were provided upon request. Filtered water was provided free of charge as town water had a weird taste.

Not enough off street parking, had to park on the street. The shower water amount was quite minimal.

The location was perfect for us - we were able to walk to a great choice of restaurants and cafes. The room was spacious, bed and pillows comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant on site but will next time as they have authentic Italian meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Parking was in the grounds - we were under a huge fig tree which dropped sap and blossom over the car but there was car wash up the road so that was easily righted.

Such a gem! We booked a bit late but lucky that we were able to book this place. The place was immaculately clean, every area was neat and the linens and towels smelled so fresh and tidy. I didn’t have the urge to sanitize the whole room again (as I always did in other short stays we go to). Christine, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful. You could see how beautiful the place is and definitely a testament to how good of a manager she is. This place is lucky to have her and her staff running it 💜

My partner and I loved everything about our stay at Seacombe House. The gorgeous buildings and the lovely garden had us instantly loving this place, but then we went to check in and met Christine, who is so warm, welcoming & knowledgeable. The room we stayed was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom had been recently renovated and really well done. Even the towels were more plush than a lot of other hotels we had stayed at. We'll be telling everyone to stay at Seacombe House if they're ever visiting Port Fairy. 😍

Great and beautiful place to stay when coming, e.g. although as we from a Great Ocean Road Tour. The minor extra miles aside B100 road are more than worth to drive. Extreme beautiful small hotel with great staffed rooms and large rose garden. Next to the small main pedestrian street but still a silent place to stay over night. The cleaningness is benchmark ! Christine gave us a very warm welcome and free upgrade to a larger room, helpful tips for the afternoon and area. We will definitely come back !

Very nice accomodations, close to the town and restaurants, friendly staff. Disappointed we could not eat in house.

We thought the shower in our room let the whole place down, loose shower head, door didn't close, dirty grout, just grubby, needs an upgrade. Didn't like the tree we parked underneath in the yard, bird droppings and fruit all over the car. Should have been warned. Should be able to access cable TV for the $s we paid.
