The staff were exceptional! Our room was bright and airy, had a gorgeous view and with plenty of electrical outlets. The elevator was very convenient, especially to get to the lower level breakfast area, which also had a great view.

The stone steps down from the breakfast area to the promenade were a bit dangerous as they did not have a railing. The shower door seemed to leak at the corner nearest the sink. Anything put on the “shelf” in the shower for toiletries fell through the bottom. The current layout is not the same as the one featured on Booking’s site. Our view was a bit obscured by the roof to the breakfast area. The pool water was too cool to swim. The entrance to the driveway and parking is easy to miss.

We had a beautiful spacious room with very comfortable beds. Even the extra bed was very good. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Personnel were super nice and helpful. We appreciated the location, little cute beach and also gym. We appreciated an option to park right next to the hotel on their private parking lot (15 eur/ day). Also there was A/C in every room and proper curtains so not event a tiny bit of light got into the room during the night/ morning.

It’s worth mentioning that beach sun beds on the Domino Beach are not for free even when you’re a hotel guest. You can use free sun beds next to the pool and just take stairs to get to the beach. Also breakfasts were a little bit constrained and the options were limited but the beautiful see view made up for that :))

Superb location, great staff, nice breakfast, and above all, fabulous sea view. The hotel is located in the middle of Lungo Mare (9 km walking path by the sea). It is in the very center of Opatija, with easy access to Lovran and Rijeka. Breakfast bar is made fresh, and guests can request also a la cart.

The sofa bed in our apartment was not very comfortable. Also, an exhaust pipe (heating/cooling/?) was going through our living room to the roof, so we experienced some noise during early morning hours.

Hotel had free parking which in this area is very important, nowhere else to park. Also had free breakfast which was great. Rooms were fine with a beautiful view of the water.

The only thing I didn’t like about this property was the fact that they charged you 12 euros per person to rent a chair at the “beachfront”. The other thing about this that I didn’t like is that some people were charged while others were not. We paid for chairs and only stayed an hour, and when we left other people just took the chairs and didn’t pay for them. They should simply build the price into the room and not charge people this ridiculous fee.  also, the beach is either rocks or concrete pads. Be sure to bring your water shoes or getting in and out is very painful. 

Very friendly and helpful staff! Hotel has an amazing balcony view. Rooms are spaceous and very clean. The hotel has it’s own parking and that is very important for Opatija. Pleasent stay and I will book again.

The room doors are a little bit to thin, sound proofing could be a bit better.

Location of the hotel, very clean hotel, great staff , comfortable rooms and beds, hotel situated not far from the city centre, the beach and beach service (shower, safe swimming area).

Water in the shower not hot enough, difficult parking, breakfast with limited choice, very expensive sunbeds on the beach ( half price for the hotel guests would improve the situation)

From the warm welcome, availability of onsite parking, hotel facilities (pool, beach, gym, sauna, lift) included good breakfast) sparkling clean public areas, comfortable bed, great double glazing, effective air conditioning, lovely balcony with great views, and location on the promenade providing great views and walking access to town.

That we arrived late 9pm) and stayed only one night leaving insufficient time to enjoy all the hotel had to offer

Very favourable location. Quite close to the centre, yet far enough to enjoy tranquil nights.

The parking space is nominlally enough for the given number of rooms. In practice this works ONLY if guests are very disciplined in the parking geometry. Park strictly between the lines indicating your space. If you have a really big car park close to the entrance of the yard.

Fantastic smaller family run hotel, right on the beach front, with either a pool or lounge chairs down by the water ( there was a daily cost of 9 euro ) Breakfast was included and had a good choice

The only thing really is if you had the Lounge beds included rather than a daily hire fee

Wow - just a wonderful location. Right on the water with private swimming area. Lunch on the terrace was superb. We had a balcony room overlooking the ocean - just peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was good too. Highly recommend. Very helpful staff at reception with organizing the on site car parking (essential in Summer months).
