A small family-style hotel with fewer rooms, ideal if you are looking for a quieter place in Opatija. The hotel has its own garden with a swimming pool and a beautiful panoramic seaview. The rooms are smaller, the upper floors with smaller windows, but very cosily furnished. There are carpets in the corridors, which eliminates noise from walking (very smart). The gym is simply equipped but also offers a sauna. The hotel has its own beach with a pleasant entrance to the sea (beach towels must be asked at the reception). For parking, it is possible to use the hotel grounds protected by a ramp (spaces are limited). Breakfast is relatively varied, served from 7:30 to 10:00, unfortunately at 8:30 the sausages and eggs were cold and the ham and cheese were no longer available. The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant, it is important to highlight the extremely friendly and at the same time professional approach of the gentleman at the reception, his services were exceptionally great. If you are looking for quieter accommodation in the heart of Opatija. It is a 3 min. walk to the city center, but the noise from the nightlife in the city is not heard at all. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the sea, and all are air-conditioned. I definitely recommend visiting this hotel.

The staff were exceptional! Our room was bright and airy, had a gorgeous view and with plenty of electrical outlets. The elevator was very convenient, especially to get to the lower level breakfast area, which also had a great view.

The stone steps down from the breakfast area to the promenade were a bit dangerous as they did not have a railing. The shower door seemed to leak at the corner nearest the sink. Anything put on the “shelf” in the shower for toiletries fell through the bottom. The current layout is not the same as the one featured on Booking’s site. Our view was a bit obscured by the roof to the breakfast area. The pool water was too cool to swim. The entrance to the driveway and parking is easy to miss.

We had a beautiful spacious room with very comfortable beds. Even the extra bed was very good. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Personnel were super nice and helpful. We appreciated the location, little cute beach and also gym. We appreciated an option to park right next to the hotel on their private parking lot (15 eur/ day). Also there was A/C in every room and proper curtains so not event a tiny bit of light got into the room during the night/ morning.

It’s worth mentioning that beach sun beds on the Domino Beach are not for free even when you’re a hotel guest. You can use free sun beds next to the pool and just take stairs to get to the beach. Also breakfasts were a little bit constrained and the options were limited but the beautiful see view made up for that :))

Excellent location, balcony with sea vies and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the bed confortable. A private beach right in front of the hotel, and a small indoor swimming pool with a gym.

The room is quite small. It would be nice if there had been a kettle in the room. The breakfast could have been better. The cooked breakfast was not too appealing, and not much catering for vegans (at least soy or other non-dairy milk should be available).

The location, the view, the private beach, the bar and restaurant options were really nice!

There were no gluten free options at breakfast or in the restaurant. We always had to ask for a vegan milk (they had soy) but the waitress was really kind and helpful during the breakfast. On the ground floor (level of breakfast area) there was always an odd smell during the day. The hotel’s restaurant was not bad but not really outstanding.

Please note that beach loungers are subject to a fee even if you are a hotel guest. A huge disappointment! Also parking is not free even if you are hotel guest. It was already warm in the dining room in the morning, and after 9:00 a.m. they stopped serving food and you had to choose from what was available.

Superb location, great staff, nice breakfast, and above all, fabulous sea view. The hotel is located in the middle of Lungo Mare (9 km walking path by the sea). It is in the very center of Opatija, with easy access to Lovran and Rijeka. Breakfast bar is made fresh, and guests can request also a la cart.

The sofa bed in our apartment was not very comfortable. Also, an exhaust pipe (heating/cooling/?) was going through our living room to the roof, so we experienced some noise during early morning hours.

the breakfast could be improved. It is not standard of 4 star hotel. next door, hotel Istra 3 star has better breakfast. needs better fresh fruit selection, toaster and put a card in buffet table... "omelette to order - cheese, ham, mushroom or combination".. with just 9 rooms this should not be problem Dinner in a la carte restaurant was very good

Very friendly and helpful staff! Hotel has an amazing balcony view. Rooms are spaceous and very clean. The hotel has it’s own parking and that is very important for Opatija. Pleasent stay and I will book again.

The room doors are a little bit to thin, sound proofing could be a bit better.

Location of the hotel, very clean hotel, great staff , comfortable rooms and beds, hotel situated not far from the city centre, the beach and beach service (shower, safe swimming area).

Water in the shower not hot enough, difficult parking, breakfast with limited choice, very expensive sunbeds on the beach ( half price for the hotel guests would improve the situation)
