Kha Sok nature resort It’s comfortable, clean, beautifully kept and an oase of peace and relaxation in the beautiful surroundings of the jungle on a nice stroll distance from the so much more crowded main road that leads to the entrance of the Khao Sok NP. The owner couple are very friendly and very easy in contact. Once there find the smal path leading around the beautiful hill, thru the river, thru two other resorts (so keep quiet not to upset these and ruin the short cut for others) to find the road that leads to the main road to KS NP. You’ll not only have a nice refreshing trip thru knee deep water but, at the right time of day will see the wild monkeys. On the way you’ll see a nice and affordable restaurant called “The corner”. And guess what?! It’s on a corner :)

Living high up in the trees was a special experience on our trip away. Our double room had cool decor and woodwork and we loved having an outside bathroom and seating area amongst the branches looking out into jungle. This place is very popular so we had the family room for us 4 on the first night big & spacious, great if you have kids but not as beautiful as the doubles. Staff are super efficient & helpful at organising trips, taxis. Good buffet breakfast but get there early! Make sure to visit the temple & monkeys on the corner of the road.

All good - next time I’d book quite a few months in advance as it’s hard changing tree houses with lots of luggage.

The resort is clean and comfortable. You can have a meal there too. The staff is very nice and very helpful. The rooms are basic, but sufficient to have a comfortable stay. The Khao Sok National Park and Ratchaprapha Lake are beautiful and definitely worth visiting.

A tree house in the jungle sounds very exotic and interesting. Unfortunately, the huts are relatively close to each other so you feel more a presence of the other tourists rather than a jungle.

Full disclosure,m we were here only one day, and not much time at the facility itself. The hotel is located several kilometers outside of town. It is very quiet, with plenty of jungle sounds to lull you asleep. A great place if you like solitude. But it takes a taxi to get into town for restaurants, the park, etc. This should be considered if you wish toi enjoy the nightlife, frequent the park, etc., as taxis can be hard to find quickly.

The establishment is exactly what you expect judging by the pictures! It is a value for money ,tree house hotel just a couple of km from Khao Sok. Rooms are fairly clean and spacious and high above the ground! Food for lunch and dinner is great. You would nt expect such a nice food in the jungle! Mr Tee the owner orchestrates this establishment and raises it s value because he will save you time by eagerly arranging you trips,massages,taxi and excursionsn i the region of Khao Sok. I totally recommend!

The breakfast 's options could be better according to the general high standards of the restaurant.

Man, the location cannot be beat! It's gorgeous - right next to this huge cliff just jutting out of the ground. At night you only hear the jungle sounds instead of the sounds of the village and all the tourists there. It's calm, peaceful and beautiful - and all from a tree house! The staff is a family, and they were very helpful and warm. Sometimes I felt like I was intruding on their space a bit, because in the States, we're used to employees at places, not a whole family, so I felt bad if I was interrupting their time to relax. But that was very minor. They made the food there - and the Thai food was very good. They have dogs, which I liked, and they had even just recently found some motherless kittens they were taking care of and the girls let me play with them, which was a huge unexpected bonus. Watch your food - the monkeys are quite insistent once they've found some food they want. Don't fight with them - just let them have it, and enjoy the unique experience. They arrange everything for you - it's very convenient. All the adventures we went on were great! Ethical elephant experience, jungle trekking into the night, one day lake trip - we recommend all of them. The owner Mr. Tee, also arranged for our taxi to and from Phuket, which was the cheapest and easiest option. Stay here if you want to be immersed in nature and really feel like you got the most out of your visit to Khao Sok.

There was very little we didn't like. I think other people with different expectations might have issues with the "naturalness" of the space - lots of bugs and needing to walk a bit to get to town - but those things were pluses to us. We "had to" cross a river by wading to get to town - I saw some people in the reviews didn't like that - we loved it! We made sure to go to town to buy a jug of water - I suggest you do the same. The town was VERY touristy, so we were a little bummed about that, but that's why we were extra happy to stay where we did - away from all of that, but still close enough to walk. Make sure to get cash at the ATM to pay your bill - no credit card machine.

Super cool being up in the trees and the staff were amazing. They helped book tours and we're also super friendly and helpful even when we messed up payment - they helped us sort it all out. AC was great and the location was cool - we saw fireflies at night. Really lovely porch to sit out on and enjoy the jungle. Room was clean and food was good. Owners will also give you a ride into town when needed!

The windows are shuttered and don't have screens on them so you have to keep them shut to keep the mosquitoes out so it's a bit dark when you're in the room but we were only really there at night so it wasn't a problem.

Living in true nature. you are surounded by nature, during the diner or breakfast you can see alot of monkeys in the trees. Breakfast is tasty. Staff and the ovners are super friendly and helpful. You can book all the trips in the hotel- like tour around the lake, tour in the jungle, elephants and so on… Prices all the same like in town. If you wan to go to the town you need to walk about 20-25min or you can use a short cut crosing the river by that time crossing was easy because there was not so much water, water level was about 30cm-to get to the town tooked 10min.

This was the best deal I could find for a treehouse. Tree houses are usually very expensive but somehow I booked this non-refundable room at a very normal price. I loved that there was a small terrace in front of the room so you could sit and enjoy the jungle around you. The stuff was a very welcoming and eager to help. even though most of them did not speak English they still had a very positive attitude. the owner was extremely nice and even proposed to quickly cook breakfast for us when we were leaving very early in the morning. she also quickly organized a pickup for an elephant experience for us. I actually liked the location because I was looking for something secluded not in the middle of the village. the hotel is located on the other side of the river away from the main buzz of the Khao Sok village. something to consider if you want to be in the center of all the restaurants and things happening. but if you want quiet and chill this is the best place to go to. also all the tours and transportation options have hotel pickups so you don't have to worry about not getting somewhere you want. I knew what to expect when I was booking the tree house. I knew that the room would be limited and rustic, which it was. Still just the fact that we had both air conditioning and fan in the room was a lifesaver. it is so hot and humid that just being able to breathe cool air in your own room is amazing.

I have an impression that I slept on a stone 🫣 mattress was horrendous. And one more thing I would wish was different was that the room only had wooden shutters. they were no glass windows whatsoever. unless you would leave the shutters open for hell knows what to crawl in or for the monkeys to invade your room, you were stuck in not-so-big wooden box. I have an idea that this might be a precaution against monkeys vising the cabins, but I'm not sure about that. It would be awesome to wake up in the room looking out at the jungle from the window.

The location of the hotel was simply stunning! Despite having to cross the stream to reach the village, we thoroughly enjoyed the sense of adventure it brought to our stay. Our treehouse was particularly special, tucked away in a peaceful spot that offered wonderful views of the surrounding forest. To ensure a good night's sleep, we requested a mosquito net and were provided with one promptly. We woke up feeling refreshed and energized each morning. On the first day, we overslept and missed breakfast by a long shot. However, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a delicious meal of yogurt, muesli, and fresh fruits for us anyway. It was a lovely gesture that we truly appreciated.

One aspect of our trip that fell short was the language barrier with our local tour guide, whom we booked through the hotel. Although we had signed up for a half-day and half-night hike in the park, our guide's limited English made it difficult to learn about the wildlife, plants, and birds we encountered. Instead, he would simply gesture towards a spider, chameleon, cicada, or other creatures and name them. It would have been great if we could have had a more informative and interactive experience. Despite this setback, our guide was an excellent cook and treated us to a mouth-watering bamboo dinner. We highly recommend this experience, just be aware of the language limitations.
