We stayed at Little Bullocks Farm for one night as a family of four, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome – they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely people. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, allowing us to help ourselves to a delicious breakfast in the morning – a really nice touch that made things easy with kids. The location is ideal, especially if you're flying in or out of the airport – just a short drive away, yet peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect stopover, and we’d happily stay again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay!

We stayed two nights in the family room, which had seating for two adults. I gave an excellent review for that on this page, including the extensive continental breakfast ingredients provided and the bag of toddler toys lent by the lady of the house. The third night we knew it was not available, as it had been already booked for that night, so we had the triple room next door. This was smaller but very pleasantly decorated. The rooms were cosy and warm with matching interior furnishings. There was a nice view of greenery, trees and next door's garden.

There was only one easy chair in the triple room. Even a folding second chair would have been good so both adults could be seated instead of one lying on the bed to read, drink tea etc. The view showed an unprotected pond/river outside which looked like part of the property. The description on Booking.com says outdoor play equipment is also available at the bed and breakfast. I couldn't see any and none was mentioned. The fence shown in the photos is no longer there so we could not let the toddler run loose.

There was a huge selection in the breakfast kitchen, cereals, including a choice of gluten-free cereals, breads, crumpets, toasting waffles, Ryvita, and French toasts. The drinks available were - many different fruit teas, different types of teas and coffees, including decaffeinated, diluting drinks and fresh orange juice. In the fridge there were yoghurt drinks, fruit corners, desserts, cheese portions, ham and probably more that I can't remember! My daughter's toddler's place was laid with a cushion for him to sit on and a bunny rabbit paper napkin, with small glasses available to appeal to children. The family room had plenty of room for a cot and was cheerfully decorated, with co-ordinating towels. There were tissues and cosmetic wipes provided and refillable pump containers of hand soap and shower gel. The lady of the house lent us a bag of age-suitable toys which was much appreciated. If needed there was use of washing machine and tumble drier, iron etc. A first-aid bag was easily seen to be available outside the rooms.

The grass area shown in the photos of the property no longer had the fence around it, so a toddler could not be let loose there to run around. No fault of the property, but to visit my sister in Bishops' Stortford I had to negotiate an enormous multi-roundabout in an unfamiliar hire car. The journey to the airport at the end of our stay did not necessitate that!

Lovely owners who were very accommodating. I arrived quite late, plenty of space to park the vehicle and was met by the owners when pressing the door bell at 10pm. There was free tea, hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, biscuits in the room available which was perfect following our long travel. Breakfast was a feast, everything was available, toasts, waffles, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, different flavoured teas, coffees. All the jams, Nutella chocolate. If you have a child, they will love that breakfast. Owners arranged taxi for morning, was hassle free. Comfortable stay, clean room, spacious. Would recommend.

Nothing at all

We booked the Triple room at the beginning of the year as we had a flight to Italy planned for October. The B&B is ideally situated for those who like us need a room before an early flight out of Stansted. This was a perfect choice as the room was comfortable, clean, and fuss-free. Julie was available to greet us, and we happily settled down and left very early the next morning after a quick self-service breakfast. The drive to Stansted was just a few minutes, especially if you follow Julie's instructions!

All was good. The room was good value and very convenient.

Booked this place to be close to STN due to an early flight and it's super close and there are a few gas stations close by. It was easy to find and the people managing it are really nice people. The room was nice with a big and small bed and a bathroom in there. Nothing too crazy but perfect for a night. The breakfast was self-serve and the tables had labels where each bedroom can sit. The amount of different things and the quality of that breakfast was outstanding. As we left at 5am, it was perfect we could self-serve and the selection was AMAZING! Great place!

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a puncture late in the evening (with a very early flight) and they allowed us to leave our car in their car park for the duration of our holiday. We then had the puncture fixed on our return. The location was easy to reach and the room was comfortable.

The walls were pretty thin and we could hear noise from the other rooms.

This cozy accommodation is perfectly located for an overnight stay, especially if you have an early flight the next morning. The owner, Julie, is a warm and attentive host who ensures everything is in order and that guests feel comfortable. She even arranged a taxi for us to the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Julie also provides a generous breakfast with plenty of options. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d gladly return.

Great place to stay and rest between flights. Close to Stansted airport. Quiet, calm, clean. Nice and simple breakfast options.

It was impossible to get uber or bolt to drive to the location, spend half an hour to try different apps to get taxi but nobody wanted to come pick us up. In the end we needed to call cab company and that worked out great. So don't waste time, just call a taxi if you need to go to airport.

We stayed overnight before an early flight from Stansted. Self-service breakfast was available whenever we needed it (the owners had booked a taxi for us at 5.30am, so this was much appreciated) and there was plenty of choice. It felt like a very safe location to leave our car for the week while we were away. We enjoyed dinner at the Lion & Lamb in Little Canfield, which we would recommend.
