We found Das Schreder Hotel at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The hotel offers a parking area, comfortable beds, and a decent bathroom – all we needed for a short and restful stay. We were a bit surprised that there was no staff at the reception desk when we arrived, which made the check-in and parking process a bit confusing. But aside from that, everything was fine. A good option for a short stay!

However, we faced some challenges due to the absence of staff at the reception. Everything – including check-in and check-out – is completely self-service. When our child suddenly got sick and we had to go to the hospital, we tried to extend our stay, but there was no way to reach anyone on-site to help us. Also, we noticed that the room price keeps changing, which was a bit confusing.

The accommodation was pleasant. The online accommodation was a bit more complicated when entering, but it can be managed. We were pleased with the parking spaces for wheelchairs, unfortunately we could not use the charging point (EV car) because the charging point was too short for our vehicle. The hotel accommodated us by giving us a room on the ground floor for wheelchairs. The rooms were nice, clean, functional, hotel in a nice part of Munich, even though the hotel itself is on the road between companies. It was a bit further to the center, but for our purposes it did not matter.

I have to recommend online check-in because doing it on the screen upon arrival is a bit tedious.

Everything was alright inside and out. The location of the hotel was excellent: far away from the city center, with free parking spaces, and 2 lakes nearby where I could jog in the mornings.

Behind the building is an industrial site for working machines, like construction diggers and excavators, and they move around during the day, so it can be noisy if you have rear windows.

The premises were spotless clean, neat, and tidy. The bathroom was equipped with the basics and I lacked for nothing. The place, including the kitchen, is minimalistic but functional. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

The location is a bit off city centre, but I suppose that is to be expected at this price point. The nearest train station is ~10 mins walk away. I tried contacting the property manager/ owner about leaving my luggage behind while I attend my meetings, but they took some time to get back to me. However, I do not blame them for it, as not everybody is constantly glued to their phones and notifications. No harm, no foul.

Das Schreder Hotel is a nice and almost new hotel. The rooms have modern and new furniture, the bed is quite comfortable. The bathroom was also pretty clean and with an excellent shower. My particular room was extremely quiet, and very conformable for a good night’s sleep. The checking process was quick and 100% automated, which I like it. The breakfast (paid separately) was also pretty good, with a good variety of breads, juices and fruits. The hotel has some parking spaces for free parking, but you can also parking for free on the street if there is no hotel spots.

This hotel is a little gem. Close enough to Munich centre (and to S/U stations where you can park your car to get into the city center without having to worry about entering with your car in the green zone) and in the meantime it’s surrounded by nature. It was sparkling clean and we found cute little packages of candy on our pillows on arrival. The 24 hours self check-in was perfect and everything went smooth. There’s two hotel parking lot but you can park on the road anyway if you can’t find a spot. It has snack and coffee machine (cash only). We slept wonderfully.

Please, add room 104 to the main sign at the entrance, when we first arrived at 1am we couldn’t find our room!

Excellent breakfast.

The fact that I arrived in the evening just as a thunderstorm had started, and couldn't work the code I had been given to access my room, to reach which I had to exit the main building and cross a courtyard, all of which took time. I then could not open my door, and had to go back across the courtyard to see if the woman whom we had rung for assistance was still there. By that time I was drenched, and in need of a WC, having had a long journey from England. I did not see a WC in the reception area, which would have been useful..

I have marked this 10/10 based on the price , value for money . We were just passing through for 1 night . We picked it as it was just off the motorway. It is a very smart well designed and managed Hotel . The rooms are perfectly formed almost cool , with comfy mattresses. Exceptionally clean . Plenty of choice for breakfast Lots of parking , open not underground with security cameras. It is in a quite residential street , so you can park on the road too if need be. Greek Taverna in town , 5 min drive was good food , bakery nx door also good sandwiches. We didn’t check in on line as we arrived @ 4 pm , the reception was open , so super easy .

The hotel is excellent for at least quick staying. The staff is totally obliging. The prices are amazing even while major events around the city. They also make smaller wishes come true. The rooms (at least #2 and #10) are comfortable and clean. It is a brilliant cost-performance ratio, even when Tay Tay was in town. The location is good enough (about 10 min car ride away from olympia park). I will definitely look to stay here again if we are going to visit Munich another time.

Maybe only an a/c is missing in the rooms (for hot summer days). The rest is fine (:

Modern hotel close to the autobahn. On our way from the north of Germany to Italy, it was a great opportunity for us to stay overnight in Munich and travel onwards. We had no problem getting to the city centre using public transport. The bus stop is not far away. 2 bus lines run at 20 minute intervals. The room had everything we needed. Breakfast was satisfactory, a good option for getting some energy before travelling further afield.

Pillows!!!!! is the main minus of this hotel. If I would stay here for more than 2 nights, I would go to the shop and buy a new one. Any pillow for 9,99€ would be better than the one I had to sleep on. The pain in my neck haunted me for another 6 hours after I woke up. Early check-in. On the day of arrival I received several emails saying that early check-in was available for 10€/hour. We decided that we would take advantage of this offer. In fact it is only possible if someone will be at front desk, so it is not possible to do it after 12 o'clock when there is no one at the front desk.
