My son and I have been coming here for many years. The rooms are always very clean and the management so very kind and helpful. Even though it had been two years since our last stay the rooms were as impeccably clean as on our last visit. We love the affordable rates when we’re going to be spending most of our time outside anyways. This motel holds many special memories for my son and I and we made more on this trip.

Honestly, as dog owners who travel a lot with our dogs, I’m disappointed when other dog owners don’t pick up their dog’s poop even if they think it’s in an area no one will be looking at(other side of the big propane tank).The motel provides bags and a dedicated trash can so please pick up your dog’s poop!

I was very happy with how clean and well cared for the room, and jettub was cared for super clean tub ,I've stayed in many places and like having a jettub and they have not been as clean as this one was ...I always have to spend my time cleaning (deep) cleaning the tubs but not the case here Great job, housekeeping we 100% will be staying again

Didn't like that there wasn't a nice seating place or a 2nd TV for how big the room was, and only TV was where the bedroom area is and ,it would have been nice better sofa and 2nd would make a new touch

Location and value. Centrally located to all we wanted to see. The south jetting and crabbing pier was very convenient. Science center, sea life. Yaquina bay had it all.

The motel has some general maintenance issues which we discuss with the manager. Towel bar coming off the wall, safety rail around the toilet broken and a warm electrical outlet. All minor items that will take less than a day to repair or replace as needed.

It was walking distance to Rouge brewery and the Newport Aquarium. The Bay Front was just over the bridge. The king sized bed was nice and comfortable. I was pleased to find that we had a balcony with a view of the Yaquina Bay Bridge. There was also a nice sitting area and a gas fireplace in the room.

The room was a bit dated and some of the furniture had trim that was broken and stuck out. There was a side door that was supposed to be locked at all times, it was for exit only. However every time we used it to leave the hotel, the door was propped open with a rug.

Nice property and great quite location. Room was huge and the bed was comfy. Check in was easy and lots of parking. Great place to walk and see the bridge. Close to grab dinner and breakfast.

I thought the floor could have been vacuum just a little better. It has vinyl plank floors and you can’t tell it tell you walk across the floor in with your socks on. Everything else was very clean.

For being a budget motel, this is the best! The prices always work with my travel budget even in peak seasons. I have been coming to Motel 6 Newport Or for several years, and every time, the staff have been friendly and they recognize me, the rooms have been clean, and my stay has been consistently comfortable.

Horrible lady at check in. Rude, impolite and explained right off when asked about 2 or 3 floor accomodations that service animals weren't allowed upstairs. If I had a problem , she didn't have to rent to me . Although I had already paid, she replied "not her, and not the hotel. It was a third party site , and we don't have to accept it. I've stayed there several times before with no issues. Probably won't again after her reception and service.

Room was large, clean and well maintained. Room service was good. Coffee was suppose to be available between 7 and 10 AM. However the start time varied between 7 and 7:30. Only one ice machine for the whole complex that I found. Therefore don't count on ice being available.

Stayed 3 days and only had the room cleaned once. This is 9n the beach sand is every where. Would have liked the room cleaned more.

Great value. We only stayed one night because we were going out on a charter boat the next day and this hotel is right next to the marina. My son forgot his wallet in the room and the staff made an extra effort to get it back to him, they were great!

Would have liked coffee in the room, but I understand this would probably increase the price, so I can buy my own coffee. There was free coffee in the lobby, but not at the time we were leaving. Parking was a little tight, small spaces and many pickups, it worked with some care.
