What a great family run business. Mark and the family were so helpful and the place was so neat and tidy. The live music on the Sat night was a treat. Great for a fun loving couple or with friends. Obviously it is budget accommodation but certainly exceeds expectations in that category. The beds were so comfy - my friend and I both wanted to steal the pillows. Mark opened the bar for us early too so we could have a sneaky beverage before we went touring Orange - they went ABOVE and beyond.

The shared bathroom facilities were well presented, clean and easily accessible. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

At the time of my visit the facade was under renovation and wrapped in scaffolding and mesh. The access staircase is in poor repair and spongy; difficult to navigate in heels. Accessing the hotel accommodation was confusing; it would be helpful for the emailed pre-check in information to make it clear that you should approach the reception desk for the adjoining Town Square Motel.

Lovely stay. Our room was cosy with an electric blanket. Sadly kids didn't discover their electric blankets so they were a bit chilly. Pub was fabulous and lovely fire going and excellent singer as part of the jazz fest.

Our room was opposite the shared bathroom, and every time the hall light went on, it shone into the room. The owners had tried to put cardboard over the window above the door, but maybe covering the whole window would be best - not a big deal (only mentioning because of the box asking what we didn't like), and the place was fabulous for the price.

Beautifully newly renovated clean bathrooms done in the classical style of the era. Loved the sense of history of the beautiful old pub and iconic Australian style of the hotel. Split system aircon & TV in the rooms was just what we needed - such good value and in the center of Orange.

Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful! Very comfortable room and great pub downstairs!

Very close to Jazz Festival venues. Price. Kitchen facilities. Daily room service. Quiet. Bed soft & room warm.

Had some difficulty running shower & seemed to be no soap in dispensers. Bought cake of soap & figured out shower on 2nd day. Plenty of hot water then.

This is an amazing pub to stay at! I’d never had the courage to stay at a pub alone, but this place exceeded my expectations. The bathrooms are newly renovated and very good - bed is comfy and room is clean - and the staff I interacted with were all wonderfully kind and helpful. Best thing is the bistro is pretty good too and the bar is fab. Live music was also a plus. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the area as it’s within walking distance of the Main Street and lots of shopping and eating destinations. Absolutely amazing stay!

Great room and facililities. Comfortable bed, good aircom, modernised shared bathrroms plus a guest kitchen.

The band on Friday night was a bit loud to sleep - Saturdays artist was quieter

Location was great. Close to everything I wanted to see / do. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Shared bathroom was terrific - best I've seen. Kitchen music not an issue, as generally off by 11pm.

Kitchenette - I realise (from previous comments) that this is a priority. It does require a make over and upgrade.
