What a great family run business. Mark and the family were so helpful and the place was so neat and tidy. The live music on the Sat night was a treat. Great for a fun loving couple or with friends. Obviously it is budget accommodation but certainly exceeds expectations in that category. The beds were so comfy - my friend and I both wanted to steal the pillows. Mark opened the bar for us early too so we could have a sneaky beverage before we went touring Orange - they went ABOVE and beyond.

The shared bathroom facilities were well presented, clean and easily accessible. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

At the time of my visit the facade was under renovation and wrapped in scaffolding and mesh. The access staircase is in poor repair and spongy; difficult to navigate in heels. Accessing the hotel accommodation was confusing; it would be helpful for the emailed pre-check in information to make it clear that you should approach the reception desk for the adjoining Town Square Motel.

Lovely stay. Our room was cosy with an electric blanket. Sadly kids didn't discover their electric blankets so they were a bit chilly. Pub was fabulous and lovely fire going and excellent singer as part of the jazz fest.

Our room was opposite the shared bathroom, and every time the hall light went on, it shone into the room. The owners had tried to put cardboard over the window above the door, but maybe covering the whole window would be best - not a big deal (only mentioning because of the box asking what we didn't like), and the place was fabulous for the price.

Room was perfect for my needs, there is a community kitchen for residents great for eating and making a cuppa, also two areas that serve meals and drinks, very helpful friendly staff. Thanks will stay again soon.

Need towel rail in room

Beautifully newly renovated clean bathrooms done in the classical style of the era. Loved the sense of history of the beautiful old pub and iconic Australian style of the hotel. Split system aircon & TV in the rooms was just what we needed - such good value and in the center of Orange.

Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful! Very comfortable room and great pub downstairs!

A Pub room with a comfy bed and good quality linen and well appointed communal kitchen Not to mention the clean and tastefully renovated shared bathroom. Food here is also great value

Very close to Jazz Festival venues. Price. Kitchen facilities. Daily room service. Quiet. Bed soft & room warm.

Had some difficulty running shower & seemed to be no soap in dispensers. Bought cake of soap & figured out shower on 2nd day. Plenty of hot water then.

Bar facilities, food, atmosphere were excellent Our room was great and bathroom facilities were wonderful for a shared bathroom environment

Best location in town with a shopping centre across the road. Pub food is amazing and price is reasonable. They even have coffee available!
