The Butler House is well located for sightseeing in Niagara Falls, within walking distance of most places of interest. Our hosts, Jamie and Dan, were very friendly and ready to offer information when asked. Our room was not overly large but it was comfortable, and the home-cooked, two-course breakfasts were outstanding!

I would have liked having more information available onsite: maps, shuttle routes, list of local events. Dan and Jame were happy to answer specific questions, but a couple of detailed maps and/or pamphlets left in each room would have been convenient as well. For instance, we knew that somewhere at the Aquarium was a stop for catching the free shuttle bus around town, but we didn't know on which side street of the Aquarium the stop was located, so we had to walk all around the building to find it (missing several shuttle busses in the process). Obviously, this wasn't our hosts' fault, but it was a small bit of information that would have been very useful to mention.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They have lots of recommendations for the guests, they even offer maps and umbrellas for the rainy days. Overall the house is amazing. They did a great job decorating and even did a surprise set up for my birthday!

The only take aways were the lack of a personal refrigerator and microwave. We had gone out to eat and had left overs but weren't able to bring them back. It's an older historical home so it has thin walls and squeaky original hardwood floors, so it can be a little disturbing at times

The breakfast was delicious and had very filling portions. We had something different every morning. Jamie was a gracious, sweet hostess while her husband cooked a hot meal. The street where the house is located is very nice with easy parking. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the evening. The king size bed was very comfortable.

As an unfamiliar bed and breakfast guest, I didn't realize that "private bathroom" meant that the bathroom was across the hall. The other 2 rooms in the house have attached private bathrooms. We adapted. The bathroom was very nice with room to store our essential bath items. Our room had a very nice make-up mirror and table which were very convenient. If you have difficulty with stairs, this house may not be the best for you. The walk is close to the trolley but perhaps a little longer than you envisioned if you walk to the Falls.

We had a truly delightful stay at Butler House Guest House. From the moment we arrived, the Dan & Jamie made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The guest house is beautifully maintained, combining charm and comfort in equal measure. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was a real highlight—freshly prepared with quality ingredients and served with a personal touch that made each morning special. The location is convenient yet peaceful, providing a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Really beautiful accommodation and exceptionally friendly hosts. Knowledgeable regards area and things to do with personal experiences and recommendations of local restaurants. They had a set time breakfast whereby all guests sat with each other and ate and had breakfast together. We really enjoyed this. It was really enjoyable talking to the other guests about their experiences, plans and recommendations regards attractions in the area. Breakfast was different every day and was 2 courses. One savoury and one sweet. There was no choice, which could have been a problem, but we found everything beautifully cooked and delicious. Would really recommend, A small 20 minute walk to Niagara Falls

Jamie and Dan were so friendly and welcoming. The house was very clean and loved the sheets, bedding and toiletries. They also provided a little bar for water, coffee, tea, snacks and homemade baked goods for any time of day. My favorite part was the breakfast because of the delicious 4 star quality food and we loved sitting and talking with the other guests. Very homey

for the most part the thing I didn't care for was not under their control. I wished that it was a little closer to the attractions. We were a little confused as to how to get to the actual falls so we drove and parking was expensive. We were definitely happy at the end of a long hot day though because we couldn't have walked the mile back to the house.

We loved everything about this beautiful B&B. Just a short distance to Rainbow Bridge to Canada. Peaceful to sit on front porch with cup of coffee. Obvious to see that Dan and Jamie are ultimate hosts, from beautifully decorated interior and exterior of the house. Dan is outstanding chef and foods served were tasty and delicious. Jamie is perfect hostess with care in serving you the best experience.

Excellent stay at Butler House!!! 1st time staying in a B&B. It was an older house they remodeled so it has character. Jamie & Dan were fabulous hosts!! They had wonderful recommendations for places & restaurants to visit!! Centrally located to drive or walk to Niagara falls & Canada! We had an amazing time visiting the area for the 1st time! We were early for the season with late April so some areas had not opened yet but that only made it more enjoyable since didn’t have to deal with large crowds!! Breakfast was always something new but a great treat!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area!!!

This charming home was wonderful in every way! We loved coming back after an activity-filled day and playing card games in the living room. Not only was breakfast delicious each day, but we also loved chatting with other guests and our hosts, plus watching the birds at the feeders in the backyard. Jamie and Dan are outstanding hosts!

You can’t fault this place. Dan and Jamie are very welcoming, the property has a website with all you need to know about anything local. Loved this 1910 building with its original features and gorgeous wooden floors. It’s all old, but has been well renovated to make it todays standard of comfortable. Location 2 blocks from the river in a quiet road, on road free safe parking, see my photo. Comfortable bed Powerful shower over the bath Soft fluffy towels Spotlessly clean Coffee tea fruit always available Awesome 2 course breakfast served at 08:30 with the other guests (there’s 4 rooms), so lovely to chat with other travellers. CHILD FREE ZONE, so blissful peaceful.
