Location great. As a vegan when I compared it t to other hotels on my current trip it was a lot better BUT foods on offer need to be labelled so as we can ALL identify what is in e.g Granola ( it may contain honey) , by doing this simple thing it saves time as busy staff are not being asked questions & having to leave to check with chefs, it saves money as you have less waste & it can & does prevent allergic reactions etc and it is very appreciated. Ideally vegetarian/vegan/gluten free etc should be separate from other foods because on 2 occasions this morning I saw people who do clearly do not have dietary requirements use tongs etc to pick up meat & egg products that were clearly for beans and the other for mushrooms & tomatoes. Due to this “cross contamination “ we could not eat any of those things. Hotel staff all friendly & welcoming. Room was super clean & comfortable. Location great.

Please see above.

It's in a beautiful countryside location. I travelled by train to Northampton and was going to travel on by bus, but the bus station was chaotic so I gave up and caught a cab here. I'm disabled by arthritis, and worn knee cartilage, so I walk with a walking stick now. There are stairs but after a few days I realised I could access places better by using outdoor paths. I was exhausted when I arrived from London so spent the first two days sleeping a lot and recuperating. Then I booked for another 3 nights and started to use the leisure and spa facilities. I loved the peace and quiet, my west-facing sunset room, the charm and kindness of all the staff, the breakfast and lunch options, the outdoor bar area for dusk birdsong, the hotel garden and grounds and just the general ambiance. I will return. I changed rooms straight away as I wanted a room with a bath. I loved my room but it was darker than the original room as it had a smaller window.

There's a lack of chocolate. I had additional snacks, somehow included in my hotel deal, but I actually don't eat crisps. Chocolate, and hot chocolate powder, would have just been the perfect addition.

Second time staying here for the British Grand Prix weekend. Hotel was reasonably priced taking into account F1 was in town! Great location - about a thirty minute drive from Silverstone. Hotel is in beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfy and cosy. Lovely shower. Staff friendly and helpful. We didn’t have enough towels in the room on check in but the reception team quickly rectified this so it wasn’t a problem.

Bedroom was lovely but the bathroom was a little tired. Some mildew and rust around the bathtub and shower head / bath taps which could do with being removed.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Sedgebrook Hall. The room was very clean with lovely little freebies in the room. Bathroom was nice and clean and hot water. Only downside was the walls were quite thin and on our first night we could hear next doors tv until quite late. The pool is a lovely bonus with sauna and jacuzzi, despite being a little dated it was exceptionally clean :) The food was amazing and for someone who is dairy intolerant I found the menu absolutely brilliant- all the desserts were already vegan or dairy free which I didn’t expect at all! Very happy and lovely staff :)

Staff could not do enough to help, food was very good, a solid 8 out of 10, straight foward system of a food credit allocated from pre paying for an evening meal, we were able to order what we wanted and only pay any difference, we were easily able to have 3 courses each within the pre paid amount. Self serve unlimited full English breakfast with good quality food like thick cut bacon. 1400 check in available and 11.00 check out spa facilities open till 22.00 Good value for money. Although local tourist attractions did not appeal to us personally everything that did was within an hours drive, we could have gone to several places from sedgebrook Hall we eventually settled on a day in Cambridge.

Room was away from the main hall (I'm sure you can probably pay more and have better rooms within the hall itself) but I think on booking we didn't realise room would be in a modern building annexed to the hall, without the charm and character of the main hall, having said that rooms themselves were as advertised. We were disturbed by neighboring guests arguing late at night, so the room was not as quiet as we had hoped however I would not hold the hotel responsible for this. Overall no complaints at all.

Comfortable rooms, great bed and a nice selection of teas and coffee with some surprise snacks in the room. The breakfast was plentiful and all of a good standard and the evening meal was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating making the stay that more special.

While the rooms were clean and roomy they could have done with some form of storage for clothes, not just the 4 hangers in the wardrobe. Even a case stand would have helped so we could at least use the case but up off the floor. The soft drinks prices were very steep, not good in this day and age when drink driving shouldn't be encouraged that said tea and coffee were reasonable. Apart from these small issue it was all very good. Would highly recommend.

Really great staff always smiling and helpful.

The spar facilities were tired missing tiles in the pool jacuzzi had no bubbles and the sauna door which was glass scrapped on the floor making it hard to open. These problems let the hotel down. The bar food wasn't great we ordered fish and chips the fish batter was the consistency of cardboard. The chips weren't great and it said minted peas there was no mint in the peas. But the breakfast was really great. All in all we said we would stay again because of the great staff and the room was warm and welcoming. The only problem with the room was not enough storage space but another set of draws would have helped. I couldn't believe how kind and helpful the staff were and they made it a wonderful stay. There's a lot of modern touches to the hotel tea and coffee on tap and in the room.

Beautiful countryside location but perfectly situated for easy access to local areas, stayed half board and is excellent value for money, we had a fantastic meal and the burger we had was exceptional quality and full of flavour (one of the best we have had) the staff are friendly and welcoming, leisure facilities are perfect for relaxing, we come a few times a year to escape from the kids and have a bit of peace and it’s just perfect for that 😂 great value for money with the half board option too, we also held our wedding here last year so it’s also a great memory for us when we do come to visit, breakfast is a wonderful spread of cooked, pastries, fruit and cereals so much choice and very filling

Everything was perfect

We stayed here overnight for a family party at a different venue. The hotel was lovely. Both the bar and restaurant served the same menu. There were plenty of choices for gluten free , vegan or both. I had a vegan sweet potato burger with chips. The breakfast was also fully labelled and fresh and they were happy to provide gf toast done separately in their kitchen. The staff seemed knowledgeable and ensured that I had checked the allergen tablets in the dining room and bar, where they were prominently displayed. This is a lovely comfortable place to stay, the staff are pleasant and helpful and I ate well, and the bedrooms are clean and modern. Thank you

The most amazing helpful staff we have ever experienced. They were responsive before and during the stay ensuring a restful, stress-free break. Plenty of social area to gather. Parking plentiful. Breakfast was a feast with plenty of choice. The ground floor accommodation was good quality and clean although it was a little like University Halls. Showers were excellent. Wi-fi good. Excellent value for the weekend and bar prices acceptable. The complimentary hot drink machine was a welcome extra. The beauty treatments were a fair price and enjoyed by several party members. Definitely recommend the hotel to others.

The evening meals varied in quality, some were exceptional and some adequate. Delays in certain elements slightly spoiled the meals for some members. Pool was cold and gym treadmill not working. The hot drink machines need monitoring to ensure availability.
