We usually stay at my son's house in Northampton around the junction 15 area so this hotel was conveniently placed for a quick exit onto the M1 the following morning. The price for two nights was excellent value as a sporting event being held in Northampton and accommodation elsewhere was very expensive. Reception staff were lovely, couldn't be more helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfast staff were brilliant on the Saturday morning. We were out all day Saturday until the late evening so did not see any other staff.

Thought the breakfast lady on Sunday morning possibly needed some customer service training. My daughter was upset for the whole day due to her attitude and intimidating approach.

Just about everything was a really pleasant surprise, for the better it has to be said. Everything in the room clean, in place and all facilities catered for, a rare occurrence. All the staff were very courteous and friendly.

This is a bit picky it has to be said but it was a disappointment to mind the food stopped at 9.15 p.m, we arrived at 9.20, but we were very grateful for the staff being able to feed us good sandwiches. I was disappointed in the decour of the common eating area, it was rather loud, lacking any degree of subtlety, but it did not affect the flavour or the presentation of the food. We shall return, as long as the price remains at the same level.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and with good variety. The room facilities were everything that we expected from it and the staff were very accommodating when we needed to change from being served in the restaurant, to taking the food to our room.

There were a couple of maintenance issues with our room that I flagged to reception when we left - these were things that really should have been picked up on and fixed before we arrived (like a flickering bathroom light and a USB socket that didn't work). For how busy the bar/restaurant area was on a Friday night, they seemed a bit short staffed and service was generally a little slow. For the breakfast I had to ask for some ketchup that should really be readily available to self-serve with the rest of the breakfast.

Arrived early morning however tried to access main entrance for some time . Eventually young gentleman attended and unlocked . I politely told him we were waiting for a few mins and he immediately declined and made an assumption I was telling lies . Very uncomfortable as we had a great evening but went to bed having an argument with my partner. I would suggest that your staff must be polite and give client benefit of the doubt . Really good stay but based on how he spoke to me I will not recommend the stay . Staff in morning were absolutely brillant and helpful . Guess always one bad eggg amongst the bhatch .

Really helpful staff nothing was too much trouble. Great food cooked until 9.15pm and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Plenty of space around the building to walk our dog and easy access to get outside. We loved that we weren’t hassled by the housekeeper to vacate our room before check out time. Location was ideal for our ongoing journey and we enjoyed our stay so much we have booked in for another night for our home bound journey

Minor detail really but it would have been nice to have decaf teabags available in the room

Beds were comfortable. The location suited us for the one night to break our long journey.

There was a distinct shortage of staff on the evening of our arrival, with a very busy bar/restaurant area and just one, very lovely and hardworking, young woman absolutely run off her feet serving behind the bar plus serving all the meals. She remained cheerful throughout, and is to be commended. Her colleague at reception did very little to help her out.

The hotel was very clean and all of the staff: Reception, bar and breakfast were very polite and helpful. It was in a quiet location and the breakfast was good.

There was only one bath towel provided and two hand towels. Was told this was standard and it wasn't a problem to ask for another one (reception were really helpful). I can understand the environmental issue of unnecessary washing of unused towels, but I don't think guests should be expected to share!

I loved the staff who was looking for solutions for each enquiry I may have. For example, we did not benefit straight away from a twin bed room, but it was sorted within a very short timeframe ( 1 hour) . Moreover, because we were out the luggage were brought into the room !!!

It's hard to say as everything was lovely. I would say that if you don't have a car, prepare to have some money for the local taxis. No Uber found though haha !!!

The staff were all fantastic and saw to every need we had while there, the room and all communal areas were exceptionally clean and the room was very comfortable

The meals in the onsite restaurant/bar were a little pricey but the food was nice, the main issue we had was that due to the fact we dont drive the nearest bus stop to and from the hotel was about 15-20 minutes walk away I know there probably isn't anything the hotel can do about that but it was a bit of a trek after being out in town all day

The reception staff were very helpful in getting us settled. There was ample parking on the property. The room was a decent size, fine for our needs. They accommodated us in the restaurant/bar area when we had to have food delivered (rather than eating it in our room).

We arrived just before 9pm and the kitchen was closed so we had to get fast food that wasn't very nice.
