The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The suite was stocked with essentials to cook including a full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer a free happy hour social as well that I reluctantly missed. Breakfast is included and has a very good selection of hot and cold choices.

I didn't like the daily parking fee of $10 PLUS tax! The hotel was the only one in the area, so why the parking fee? I thought that was ridiculous for a hotel of that level.

The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My bed felt like a cloud it was so soft. I got some good sleep. The breakfast was excellent.. garlic butter grits, English muffin , omelette , bacon, fresh fruits and orange juice. Maaaaaannnnn it was a breakfast. That’s how you wake up at a hotel. It’s was excellent for me. I really enjoyed my room and my stay and will definitely be going back.

Perfect location. We were central to everything. Right off an expressway. Only 15-20 minute drive to Ft Jackson. The food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and the hotel rooms were perfect for my family. Very comfortable and CLEAN accommodations! I recommend trying Backstreets Grill and Angell Bros 1801 Grille. Both have excellent food and service!

Parking could have been a bit better. A few nights the hotel was packed and there were no close parking spots. Slight inconvenience when hauling kids. But my only complaint.

Well unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated a bit but given the options overall I appreciate the service I think that the dining staff are new they too are friendly and attentive It's a nice place I am sure that this will improve soon

Clean, beautiful.. so much room! Would definitely recommend. We stayed during UofSC Family Weekend. Enjoyed daily breakfast. Plenty of room for my family and I. 3rd time staying at this hotel. Never disappointed. Stayed in multiple places in Columbia throughout my son's college experience. This definitely is the best

Can walk to Vista but about 1 mile away. Definitely need a car. Not in the center of the city but definitely pretty close to it. Stayed in multiple places in Columbia that are closer to the city center but this hotel is the best in my opinion.

The esthetic and cleanliness, we're superb. Give the pool area a good power wash and you're getting an automatic 10! For overall cleanliness and value.

The pool area seemed a little neglected, but it was opening pool season, so it may not have gotten ots yearly maintenance yet?

I loved the room and how convenient it was to get to & from my car being that I had my son a surprise party. We were right across from the pool and weight room. Also we loved the pool. Oh and the breakfast 😋

Absolutely nothing. There was nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was good. There were different hot options each time. Plus, they had a “social” each Monday through Wednesday, which basically meant a full dinner with drinks. That increased the value that I paid for this hotel so much. The room was very clean and spacious too (1 king bedroom). All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I noticed a little bit of road noise because we were right by a well-traveled road in Columbia. It wasn’t too bad though.

I LOVED the breakfast & dinner opportunities that’s included in your price! The food was amazing! The staff was phenomenal & really was so caring & professional. Every time I come to South Carolina this is my new place to stay.

As always, staff very friendly, beds are comfy, it is clean, and the breakfast is awesome. Currently under renovation which is impressive as it was great as it was! It will be even better when we return next time.

Renovations are going on currently, but it didn't put a dent into our stay, as staff goes above and beyond to keep our comfort up.
