The inside interior design

First of all, the night staff apparently didn’t report to the oncoming staff that there was a customer/s who was coming for breakfast and I wasn’t the only one that came to the lounge looking for breakfast. It should have been $20 cheaper because I don’t know that the regular breakfast deal that was supposed to be included with the advertisement pay plan would be a limited breakfast until I arrive at the hotel and that the limited breakfast consisted of a quickly grilled bacon, cheese, eggs brioche sandwich which was very delicious but I had to ask for something to drink to go with the sandwich and there was no water sitting out to drink. I had to ask for water to drink also. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.

For the price they charged during family weekend, breakfast should have been included and parking should have been included.

As all the hotels did, for family weekend, they quadrupled the prices knowing families will pay to come see their kids off to college. We are already paying the increased school tuitions, paying for airfare, paying for transportation, etc. Then to charge so much MORE than your usual. But yes, I paid. I will not be back though at those prices.

The room was spacious for 2. The location was perfect. There are great restaurants in walking distance. The arena was also in walking distance. Hotel was very clean. Restaurant on site.

We had a room directly facing pool, on pool level, which was nice but people at the pool area could see in our room when curtains were open. Made it a little uncomfortable.

We loved the convenience of the location, especially if you are visiting the college, and want access to downtown dining. The Starbucks, and Bar on location were super convenient as well! The outdoor fireplace and TV sitting area were lovely. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is plenty of room for parking. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

The pool area is a great touch, and we really looked forward to lounging by it, but all the lounge chairs were all ripped and broken. They should seriously take inventory and replace the broken chairs. Maybe consider resin lounges over the cloth ones that were all tattered.

Location is perfect for visiting USC. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every single employee from the cleaning lady, evening bar tenders, morning breakfast staff and front desk personnel were so polite.

We did not use the pool but judging by the view from our room it looks rather tired.

Very nice. Enjoyed the room. Excellent location near the university. Breakfast staff very attentive.

Bathroom was small. There was a lot of traffic noise from the street even though we were on the top floor. It would have been good to have more front desk staff on such a heavily booked weekend

The staff is lovely-very welcoming, helpful. The people working the morning coffee rush kept the line moving. The staff working the front desk were polite, happy and helpful. The lobby was very clean.

I do wish they would consider updating the rooms a bit. The decor is old looking/shabby. Not dirty, but just kind of “blah”. Most hotel rooms don’t have carpet anymore, so maybe I would like to see them remove the carpet in the rooms and replace with laminate/faux hardwood.

My friends flight into Columbia International Airport was canceled so I needed somewhere to stay overnight. It was close to the airport, which was great. The young man at reception was extremely kind to me and very helpful.

We liked the low floor and the location of the hotel. We also liked the laundry facilities.

we didn't like the breakfast options (you could only get 1 coffee or 1 juice, not both, for example). We didn't like that the gym wasn't available.

Very convenient to downtown.

Have to pay to park in the hotels parking, their food and beverages are outrageously expensive - almost $5 for a soda, no free breakfast offered, constant music through the bathroom vent.
