The warm breakfast was really nice and healthy. One staff member even walked around before the breakfast closing time to offer the guests some sweets for dessert. The room was really comfortable and cozy, good for a stay after a rainy day in Portland. The central location was pleasant, and the reception on Tuesday afternoon was really helpful. He knew the best place to buy souvenirs, and he handed me the dining guide with the recommended food trucks!

Very clean and modern. Large bathroom for a basic room which I appreciate. The breakfast in the morning is awesome. I used the gym which is well appointed. It’s a good location but I like to walk when I’m in a new city and you don’t have to go far away from the hotel before it feels a little iffy. Lots of homelessness which is sad. As a single woman I didn’t feel too comfortable out at night. To end on a good note the staff and facilities are excellent

Nice sized room and bathroom, bed was comfortable , valet parking, fun pool. The elevators required a room key to utilize, that’s a great safety feature. They provided a post card and a couple Andes Mints in the room which was a nice touch.

Hallway smelled like carpet cleaning after dogs had used it for a restroom. The flow of the breakfast room is not efficient. All heating elements should be at the very end so that the people waiting for it aren’t impeding the other people moving through the areas. Breakfast items aren’t of great quality.

Indoor pool, nice room, free breakfast

Bathroom door was a barn door that didn’t have a lock, breakfast ends too early (9am)

The complimentary breakfasts were on-time, plentiful, with gracious selections of eggs and cereal and yogurt and coffee and waffles and breakfast meats such as ham and sausage. The location was conveniently located to downtown Portland, near art galleries, restaurants, Powell's Books, Pioneer Square, a car rental firm, Voodoo Donuts, and public transportation.

The pool area was a little loud, so that 2 year old girls, screaming, echoed against the many walls and solid surfaces to amplify the noise. Maybe some noise reduction surfaces could be added to the pool area? There's no doubt that kids loved the pool area; I saw many families there getting their kids so tired out so that the adults could have some alone-time later in the evening.

All the facilities! The pool was a hit for our 5 and 8 year old, breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, the rooftop access was super cool, the location was amazing we were able to explore downtown and see what Portland has to offer within walking distance and our room was really nice, clean and super quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

To busy enjoying it all to find any flaws

We stayed for four nights at the start of April and had a wonderful stay right from the moment we were warmly welcomed in the door. The staff were all awesome, our room fresh and clean, beds comfortable, hotel busy but quiet and a great, changing selection for breakfast. The area that the hotel is in is quiet, close to everything (either a walk or quick public transport trip) and there is a local supermarket across the street.

The indoor pool is extremely noisy due to its design. And because the hotel was very busy for a couple of nights of our stay, the breakfast area was very crowded and it was hard to find an empty and clean table

The room was perfect with a great big wow! The shower was like being in a dish-tank that felt so good. The bed was supper comfy and there was extra blankets available if your partner had the AC up too much. The couch was comfortable and view was spectacular. The fact that it was pet friendly was a super big plus.

Check-in could have been better. As I came after completing a duathlon and was tired and sweaty and just wanted to get cleaned up. Being charged $$$$ as if I was driving a semi-truck because my small SUV had a bike and bike rack on back that fits with room in standard spots.

The rooms were clean and felt fresh. The bathroom had a nice shower, and the beds had very comfortable bedding. The elevators seem clean and are surprisingly fast, and we really enjoyed the rooftop area. It was a nice view, and a great spot for morning coffee. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen (provided I've only seen three). It was large and quite comprehensive. I wish I could've had the chance to try more. Also, the service was great. The worker at the desk seemed very warm and gave quite helpful information. We had trouble with one of our keys, and she immediately replaced it with a working key. All in all, we had a really nice time here.

The heavy, sliding bathroom door was a LITERAL pain. We needed to really put effort into opening and closing it. Also, the bed was kind of hard.

The location is great for walking to Powell Book Store, restaurants, and Hello from Portland gift shop. Pearl district is a great place and I felt safe there.

The valet parking situation needs to be improved. I had to drive around the block for more than 15 minutes waiting for a space to open up in front of the entrance. Finally I parked just across the street and the valet refused to valet my car because I was across the street and not in front of the building. After circling for so long waiting for a space to open, I gave up and parked there, thinking they could just walk the few steps and move the vehicle.
