The room was delightful. We wanted Italian and we got it. The atmosphere was more than we could ask for. Continental breakfast was wonderful and filling. The owners and staff were very friendly and informative. Alberto even took our bags up to the 3rd floor for us. That was so good! and Matise (I believe that was the name of the cocker spaniel that came with the hotel) was just so cute!! The location was perfect - minutes away from the rail station and I felt safe when I took a walk in the evenings by myself. All in all - fantastico !

A fridge in the room would have been good and a coffee and tea making facility would have been nice.

All staff were very welcoming and friendly, the main host was lovely and so helpful. Location was perfect, walkable to everything, and not far from where trains and taxis drop you off so no long walks with luggage! Room was very clean and had everything we needed, lovely big windows for fresh air and natural light, and the air con worked very well in the heat!

The shower in the bathroom had no curtain so water ended up everywhere each morning but the room was cleaned daily so this helped. The breakfast was reasonable for the price, but would’ve been great to have more fresh fruit available. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed the location a lot as it was convenient to access, and the room was perfect for our 2-night stay. The air conditioning in the room was truly a lifesaver. Despite being by the busy main street, the street of the hotel was quiet and calm and ensured peacefulness during our stay. Stores and great restaurants were nearby. Staff was friendly and the dog of the family brightened our days! Thank you!

A refrigerator in the room would have added to the convenience, but we managed without too. Otherwise everything was splendid.

It was a great location , as an older single traveller I was pleased to find a hotel that meant I did not have to carry my suitcase over bridges. By using the airport bus to the bus station and then the public water bus number 2 I avoided having to take my suitcase over bridges! Read I really appreciated that there was somebody at the desk all the time. The staff could not have been more helpful. They suggested appropriate local restaurants which had good food and well priced.

Very attentive, friendly, hospitable staff. Helped us with a map and detailed info upon our arrival, answered all our questions; and upon departure, called a porter within minutes to take us to a taxi to return to airport. Rooms are dated, but comfortable, comfy bed, good size room with AC, and very clean. Loved how the bathroom soap smelled Location was excellent, walkable to termini, near lots of stores, very convenient. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Very good location, close to railway station - 5min walk! Owned by nice people! room was clean!

1. There are no elevators - you need to carrie your bags up stairs and no one will help you; 2. No air conditioner; 3. Very uncomfortable pillows; 4. Loud - if your room is near the stairs (if its possible ask not give the room next to stairs) 5. the windows are on this little street side where at 8am and 11pm all street sellers are taking their strollers and its very loud at this time; 6. Dont take breakfast, there was nothing normal/hot to eat, I didnt even finish the coffee, because it was awfull… 7. chose the hotel because of good reviews but its nothing more like average 2 star hotel!

Hotel Caprera is in a great location, very close to the train station and vaporetto stops. It is easy to walk from the Hotel to shops and restaurants, and even all the way to St Marks Square. Our triple room was a good size. Although the bathroom was a bit small it had everything we needed. The staff were lovely and were happy to answer questions and assist us.

As is common in Venice, there is no elevator.

The highest rating at least because the staff is very polite and friendly! It was nice to come back and see these wonderful people! The hotel is clean, has its own vintage atmosphere. For one or two nights it was enough. The shower door was missing, but not a big problem. The pillows were very uncomfortable because they were too thin. The beds are clean, the bathroom and towels are also snow-white. Convenient location of the hotel, shops and restaurants nearby. Close to stations. Recommend for an overnight stay!

Locafion was excellent.Quiet. I was on 3rd floor. Long way up and down stairs. Shame there’s no lift but room was clean , quiet, airy and spacious enough. Large bathroom. Good value for money and very close to train station

Everything fine but would have liked a room lower floor. 3 flights up is exhausting. TV could have had an English channel marked. Even staff didn’t know how to get an English speaking channel

The location of the hotel was very close to the main street. All the people that are coming to Venice are passing by the hotel. The room was big, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful - we got there in the morning and they let us keep our bags until it was time to check in when we left our plane was in the afternoon and again they left s keep our bags until it was time to leave for good even after we check out. When we got back to take our bags they let us use their facilities as well - we really appreciate the help.

The breakfast was small and not quite good. The coffee and water were good; gem and butter as well.
