Located in the heart of Ku’damm, this hotel boasts an unbeatable location. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and well-designed, offering a chic and comfortable stay. The bathroom was large and impeccably clean. A standout feature was the 24/7 on-site shop with fair prices—an incredibly convenient touch.

The in-room iPad constantly prompted me to opt out of daily room cleaning, citing environmental reasons—or something along those lines—which became quite annoying while using it. Another issue was the lack of attention to replenishing toiletries. Once I finished the tissues and toilet bags, they simply weren’t replaced, which felt unprofessional for a hotel of this standard. Additionally, the complimentary water service was discontinued after just two days, despite our five-day stay. It felt like a small but noticeable oversight, as providing two small bottles per day shouldn’t have been too much to ask.

I had an amazing stay as a female solo traveller. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially Eva kindly assisted me with an early check-in without any hassle, which I really appreciate. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast options were great. Although I don’t eat beef or pork, I still had plenty of options. After spending the day exploring Berlin, used the sauna twice without any additional charges and it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The location is fantastic, with plenty of nearby dining and shopping options. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I return to Berlin.

There is nothing to say. Just a suggestion, I think it would be great to have a mini fridge too in the room or I dont know if my room type didnt have. But it was something not important for me or didnt need it.

The room was very spacious and quiet. The beds, pillows and comforters were clean and were very soft and comfortable. We used the roll out bed for one person and it was also very comfy. Staff (24 hour staffed reception) were very helpful and kind. The breakfast had a big variety and excellent food. The breakfast restaurant always had available tables, and we never had to wait long for an elevator. The shampoo, body wash and hand soap were very good quality. The location of the hotel was great. A short walk to several public transport stations. Grocery store across the street and many restaurants near by.

We have been at the hotel for 9 days. The location is excellent, a lot of bus/train/metro stations around. A lot of stores and restaurants are near the hotel. I had a great stay! The room was very spacious, with a large bathroom and a big closet — perfect for a longer stay. I really appreciated having an iron and ironing board available in the room. Everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! Also there is a good breakfast.

This hotel has become my favorite one in Berlin. I love its location near Bahnhof Zoo, which is ideal. The rooms (even the smallest ones) are beautifully designed and the bathrooms are great! The breakfast buffet is fine, but not the best I have seen in Berlin (that was the Swissotel, which was across the street!). One great feature: the safe has an outlet inside, which allows you to charge a device while it is in the safe. Such a great idea!

I find the staff at the reception desk to be a bit aloof - never rude - but just professional without ever seeming to care particularly. Because I like the hotel so much, I feel that that is something that is a bit of a minus.

The Doring (previously Sofitel) Ku'Dam is a decent 5* Grand Hotel. I liked the spacious room, the generous breakfast, and - in particular - the museum-grade sculptures in the hotel corridors. Plus, the location just off the Ku'Dam - 500m from either Bahnhof Zoo or the famous KaDeWe department store - is great, featuring numerous nifty restaurants and bars nearby, including my favorite Literature Haus.

The elevators provide limited feedback to those waiting. The lobby / bar is not so inviting and - for a reason I do not know - there were uniformed policemen by Reception throughout my 3 nights stay...

Very capabile and approachable staff, breakfast variety, location (very close to multiple public transportation alternatives), huge comfortable rooms (shower + bath, king size bed).

I could see that while it is a traditional 5-year hotel, it could use some additional investments to really secure a premium. My only disappointment was that I couldn't use the sauna or felt safe in the women's gym locker rooms, because men kept barging in without even a towel to cover themselves. For a hotel of its reputation, they should have some "guardrails" in place.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious with a large bed and bright windows. Breakfast was good quality—fresh pastries and eggs—but fairly standard.

The room wasn’t cleaned on the first day. When I reported it to the front desk, the staff member wasn’t apologetic or receptive—he/she ran through various checks without actually addressing my request. At breakfast, a team member tried to help but couldn’t find a solution until I suggested one myself.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was so spacious and was very nice to stay in - no noise and was a good temperature. The bed was comfortable, shower and bathtubs were great! Small things like a non-wallfixed hairdryer, TV sound in the bathroom and tablet to help with information and requests were much appreciated.

Very minor things: TV was fairly slow and we had to get a hotel staff to make it work at one point. No conditioner in bathroom amenities, which would have been appreciated.
