The close proximity to the town centre and the generous size room and bathroom. Lovely and clean. Thoughtful additional facilities such as a fan, iron and ironing board.

The carpark is small but with it’s central location this is expected.

Springfields is very clean. The sheets, beds, and linen on the breakfast tables were immaculate. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. The room was very large. Location is fabulous for getting into town.

There is no lift and I was in the 3rd floor with heavy suitcases. The room was very hot, even though a fan was provided. Some of the lights in the room didn't work including the main light in the bathroom. I couldn't always get Wi-Fi. I felt it lacked atmosphere and imagination. It was definitely more like a guest house than a hotel.

I do a lot of business travel and had to arrive a night early in Horsham for a week of work. Springfields Hotel was a relaxing and refreshing place to enter the beautiful town of Horsham. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, spacious and airy, wifi worked exceptionally well, and the staff made me feel as if I was cocooned in a warm, handknitted, loving blanket. I left being aware that this sort of small town hospitality, friendliness, service and warmth was not ever captured by larger hotels or hotel chains and for travelers always on the go ..... hotels like Springfields are a true treasure.

Having to leave after 1 night. I wish I could have spent my entire week there.

We had a call the day before we arrived to check our booking as we had added an extra day. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and sown a parking space. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was large with everything we needed from tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, a large en-suite with toiletries provided and even a fan for the hot weather. All the staff were lovely and took pride in their work. There was a great selection for breakfast and was cooked fresh. Great central location within walking distance of a beautiful park, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended and so much nicer than the branded, group hotels.

There was nothing that we disliked but the only thing that we felt could be improved, would have been softer pillows. (Personal preference only)

We were warmly welcomed and given helpful advice about how to find local restaurants for dinner. Very comfortable, scrupulously clean and spacious room with everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable. It was great to have a small fridge to keep bottled water cold. Delicious full English breakfast and a cafetiere of good coffee was very much appreciated after an early morning hike. A few parking spaces available in car park behind the property. Would definitely choose to stay here again if visiting this area.

Wish the bathroom had a more powerful extractor fan.

Absolutely everything!! Jenny and her staff were so friendly and pleasant. Jenny in particular was extremely helpful and attentive. The room was immaculately clean. Food was great. We had plenty of tea & coffee and some nice cookies. The bathroom was spotless. Nice lamps in the room plus a desk if needed. TV had plenty of channels. We were given a fan which was very welcome as it was very hot weather while we were in Horsham Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommend

Springfields was an amazing surprise to us! We have become used to chain hotels providing tiny bedrooms with shower rooms you can hardly turn around in, all with their plastic food and soulless staff. Not so at Springfields! The welcome by Jennie was friendly and she was very helpful. She showed us to a large, quiet, spotlessly clean room which had an en-suite bathroom, with fluffy towels, that was also spotless. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious white bedding. In the morning, breakfast was excellent! A ‘full English’ that was cooked perfectly. It is rare to find a hotel that cooks bacon properly. Would recommend this small hotel to anybody - you would have made a very good choice. There is also parking at the rear.

I loved my attic room with the sloping ceilings. I had a beautiful view of the tops of trees. It was an excellent location. It was like living in the countryside, but only a couple of minutes from the cenre of town.

My only suggestion is that they might replace the plastic hangers with a set of wooden coat hangers for trousers as well as dresses and jackets.

Cleanliness, location, facilities and staff all amazing. Shower gel and shampoo provided in the bathroom, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, tea/coffee and complimentary biscuits. Full English breakfast to die for! Minus the beds, we really couldn’t fault this place!

As per the other reviews, the bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. Pillows are lovely and fluffy though. I’d definitely suggest investing in some mattress toppers, as they’re probably losing out on repeated custom due to the quality of sleep. This was the only gripe we had, everything else was exceptional.

The property was very clean, the room was really spacious and had everything we needed. The shower was really hot and powerful. The staff were really friendly, reception and restaurant, we were made to feel very welcome. Great location, shops nearby and really quiet area.

Only downside, which is very minor, the temperature in our room (number 5) was very warm! We were lucky enough to have warm weather during our stay so this could’ve contributed, but we were able to open the windows and a fan was already provided so not too much of a big deal.
