The location was great. Lauren was very helpful and friendly through our stay. Although no parking - the car park was a short walk across the river and free for 72hrs.

There wasn't an option to have a salad for dinner... you could have several lovely looking salads for lunch - but not dinner... so the ingredients were there in the fridge! - would have been happy to have been charged a little more at dinner to eat a salad in the heatwave we were experiencing - BUT I was told the 'chef' didn't like to serve salad at dinner. I hate that condescending approach! Waitress TIP: Don't ever tell a customer that the chef 'doesn't do' something the customer would like - you'd be better off just saying that you don't have any salad/mint sauce/ketchup/chips (or whatever the chef turns their noses up at)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were exceptional for me. I have a disability and they were very comfortable . The room was a good size on the first floor .I had a power shower and it was very refreshing. The bar was interesting and had some good beers and the staff were great . The position of the hotel was central . The food was very good . We had an evening meal and all choices were tasty , hot and timely . We also had a breakfast and that was good . The towels were clean and refreshed . I personally liked all of the staff . The cost of the room represented good value for money. The hotel was next to some great cafes if you wanted a breakfast or coffee. I was able to have a nap in the afternoon. Despite busy with people and cars parked immediately outside the room . That didn't bother me .

The stairs were very steep but I managed . I am post surgery and used a stick Anyone with a significant disability will struggle . There is no access to rooms for wheel chair . To be fair they are old buildings and possibly difficult to change . It's near a busy supermarket and I was worken up every morning with deliveries with a coop next door . 6/7 am One delivery was 2 am. I couldn't get my toilet seat to stay up and I'm a male customer .

We thought the staff were brilliant. So friendly, kind and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but had a delicious evening meal. The room, no.2, was comfortable and the en-suite was fresh and clean. It was nice to have a kettle and supplies to have a cup if tea or coffee in the room.

The room was above the street where people stepped outside the hotel to smoke. We had to close the window as the smoke came into the bedroom. It was a very warm night and but for the fan the warmth would have been unbearable. We opened the window as soon as there were no smokers below.

Great hotel, we stayed for one night on a hiking trip. The staff were first-class, who couldn't be more helpful. Rooms were clean, tidy and the bath in one of the rooms was a godsend. Bed was comfortable and although the room was hot (as expected), a fan was set out for us on arrival. Couldn't fault the stay and the hotel manager was incredibly friendly and courteous when we changed a room setup at short notice. Corbridge in the sun is something special, too.

Excellent Dinner & Breakfast, very friendly staff from time of booking to leaving the property. They have done a marvelous job in 2 years and I am sure they will continue to improve even more as time goes on.

The mirror in the bathroom needed lowering [ unless your 6 feet tall]. We would have prefered to have a walk in shower but we knew that it was shower over bath when we booked. & screws holding down the split between room & bath room needed re setting.

Adrian and the team were always smiling and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Son Daniel, is the excellent chef in the kitchen.. Top notch meals. Good location too.We were lucky enough to be in the Village,during a first rate Flower Festival in the Parish Church, together with seven local houses,, opening their gardens to the public, to walk round. Unusually, the local Co-op was open on a Sunday until 10pm.

Nothing to dislike.

A lovely place to stay in Corbridge. The bar & restaurant are beautifully decorated and a warm welcome awaits all visitors via the friendly staff. Our rooms were very clean & comfortable & the breakfast was excellent. We did not eat there on the evening but the food being served looked lovely. This is a wonderful place to stay in Corbridge & we will certainly be returning.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable, great location! No car park at the hotel, though plenty of on street pay and display parking, recommend using this to when checking in to drop bags off, then parking in the free car park over the bridge. I used the pay and display outside overnight but had to move my car early morning.

Breakfast was great. We were very happy to be right in the middle of Corbridge, within easy walking distance of the station. Owners/staff were friendly and welcoming.

Train service was a bit erratic. Didn’t like having to leave!

We didn’t dine at the venue as we’d eaten before we arrived. Menu looked very good, and restaurant was well patronised.

Sound proofing between rooms wasn’t great, we could hear people retiring to bed after we had gone to sleep.
