My wife and I booked the all inclusive stay at the Claremont Hotel Blackpool for 4 nights and for the price it was extremely good value and the all inclusive package was from 11am till midnight and I don’t know how they do it for the price. The breakfast was a buffet with a varied menu and it was nice and we ordered freshly cooked poached eggs which were brought to our table very quickly. The staff were amazing and the evening meal main course was served at our table and was always hot and there was entertainment as well in the evening and the Monday night comedian was very funny. The hotel is a bit tired generally but the bed linen and rooms were very clean . A really enjoyable experience and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. Bob Budd

Everything from check in to check out, stayed all inclusive which is good too

The toilets being ground floor, needing to get the lft or stairs to one floor would be easier for elder people if one was on reception level. No air con in rooms also the fact was on 3rd floor then had to drop down 2 lots stair to go back again to actually get to room

Staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a medical emergency during our stay. We ourselves were not directly affected, hotel staff appeared to deal with the emergency exceptionally well. Congratulations to the kitchen staff-the food was superb. Entertainment was also fantastic.

The one lift is slightly annoying sometimes. Please open the swimming pool.

The hotel was lovely and clean, the room was basic but it did the job. We didn't get a view, but that didn't bother us too much. Food was delicious, loved that you got your own table in the dining room throughout your stay so you always knew where to sit and not rushing to get a seat. Easy walking distance to amenities in Blackpool and taxi available to book into Blackpool centre.

Toilets were downstairs which was not always the best when you needed to go. It was an adults only weekend break but there was no activity during the day time. They do bingo Sunday to Thursday but there was nothing on during the day. A quiz or something would have been good or even a pool table.

Main plus point...The food was lovely, absolutely no complaints at all. Breakfast, dinner and tea were all really nice. The dining room can be a little hot but does have air conditioning. Arrived and booked in, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Then you go to the dining room to pick a table that you then use throughout your stay. Breakfast is buffet style, and so is lunch time. Evening meal starters and desserts are buffet style, and your main meal is served to the table. All waiting on staff are friendly, and nothing is too much for them. Please be aware that there is no bar in the dining room , only water available, so it is best to remember to get a drink from the bar to take in with you. Friday night entertainment was a comedian, followed by a single. We really enjoyed it, even if the comedian was a little rude 😆. Car parking can be an issue, room's aren't available until mid/late afternoon, but get there early if you need the carpark. They have the one car park out front of the hotel and another up a side street behind the hotel. Both fill up very quickly. Cars, block cars in, so you need to leave a car key with reception. They give you a receipt. Our room was 219 and it was very tiny, nothing wrong with it and we had a sea view but it was a small room. We had to operate a one-way system when getting dressed 🤣 Note a fan can be hired from reception, you pay a £20 deposit that you get back when you return the fan. The entertainment room fills up quickly and doesn't have the most comfortable chairs. It is also very noisy Think more working mens club atmosphere than hotel entertainment room. Location is good and a walk to the town centre is definitely do able. On our 2nd day we went out after breakfast then cant think of anything really stayed in the hotel after lunch and its a comfortable hotel to sit and watch the world go by.

Nothing, can't think of anything we didn't like...there is only one lift but don't know if it would be possible to add a 2nd, but it could fo with more lifts.

The staff were exceptional. The reception, the bar staff and catering team were all. well organised, very friendly and helpful. The food was traditional but lovely and a good selection. I had doubts before going but I have already rebooted another weekend there i cannot fault the staff or the food. it was clean and tidy a bit dated but the positives definitely outlay the negatives.

The hotel is a little dated and tired looking but to be honest it was clean so it did not bother us. The lift was broken and awaiting repair which again we did not need it but it caused issues for some guests with mobility problems. The staff did try and help by using the service lift and portering the luggage for residents.
