The hotel was beautifully clean with amazing views over the bay. It was very close to the centre of Positano, and so was ideally located.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, but it would have been nice to have robes in the room. We ended up eating out two of the three mornings for breakfast as the breakfast that was supplied was very basic and my husband was charged extra for his omelette. It wasn’t made clear on the menu and we thought a little unfair.

Villa Rosa is an iconic building situated in the heart of Positano. The location is truly incredible. The property looks over Franco Bar, and neighbours Le Sirenuse, placing it on one of Italy’s most lavish and in-demand strips. The staff were fantastic and did everything to make our stay as relaxing and luxurious as possible - a special shoutout to Antonio (I think), who had us laughing each morning. The beds are super comfortable, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious, more so than the photos convey. Having 24/7 reception service is also an obvious positive. We also loved the breakfast service, and being able to specify the time of delivery, not something you get at many hotels.

There really wasn’t much to complain about. Although the location is arguably unbeatable, it can also be frustrating, as the sounds of motorbikes and traffic continue well into the night, so I wouldn’t go here if you’re looking for peace and quiet at nighttime. Also, unfortunately the Wifi was down for half of our week-long stay; the staff were incredibly apologetic, but it felt a bit unfair given how much we were paying.

A view that leaves you breathless. The most beautiful view and the most beautiful terrace, perfect location. We were accommodated in a family suite, two rooms and two bathrooms on the fourth floor, there were four of us and everything was perfect. The breakfast was perfect, they brought everything we chose to the room and arranged it on the terrace. I must mention that the employees were wonderful. We also got beach towels, they really took care of every detail.

The view and the terrace overlooking the water were exceptional. The front desk was incredibly nice, helpful, friendly and accommodating. They gave us great recommendations and helped us with getting around and making dinner reservations as well.

This hotel is wonderful. The view from our room was absolutely incredible and it's the perfect location for getting to the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants near by too. The hotel breakfast was excellent and arrived at are chosen time every morning. The staff are lovely, they even managed to book us a table at a pretty popular restaurant for the following night after we arrived. If you're thinking about booking this for your trip to Positano, please don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

Our room was beautiful spacious high ceilings amazing views and balcony was huge. Super king bed extremely comfortable good sized bathroom beautiful villa. Also great concierge and front office carried bags up and down Highly recommend perfect location

80 stairs to our door but keeps the steps up. No pool

Staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in, to the moment we sadly departed. The views are unmatched (we had sea view on 2nd floor). The breakfast was delicious. Location is prime - you’re in the middle of it all and everything is in walking distance with great bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Shower drain was slow draining but not enough to be a nuisance.

This was close to the main beach and situated just right. It was just 5 min walk to the bus stop (SITA) if need to go to Sorrento or to Amalfi/Ravello. The views from the balcony were out of this world and we would spend a great amount of our time admiring the turquoise waters and the cute colorful buildings on the mountain. Continental breakfast was provided in-house.

Beautiful very well-kept hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage and go into town while waiting for check-in without any problems. Location great, view from the balcony even better. An breakfast! beautifully served on the terrace.

The view was perfect! The room was beautiful and had a fantastic shower. Overall this was one of our favorite stays on our Italy trip.

The bed was not very comfortable; the mattress was pretty hard. They did not have porters at the pier when we arrived so we had to carry our luggage up tons of flights of stairs which was difficult.
