Beautiful room, very clean and a great pool ideal for younger children. Right on the beach, the staff were all lovely, and the restaurant food was the best we had on the island. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. There’s a cool reggae bar next door with swing seats, that promises fire shows every night though they weren’t on while we visited. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families.

The hotel is about a mile away from the centre of Chaweng so lovely and quiet but a taxi was needed if we wanted to explore (due to having a young child). There are boats anchored right outside the hotel, and frequent trips occurred so the beach wasn’t as nice as other areas we visited.

This hotel was the nicest hotel we stayed at in Thailand during our 15 nights in Thailand , we stayed at 5 properties in total and this one was probably the most comfortable. The beds were so soft with fresh white linen brilliant air con and nice bathroom. we arrived on the opening day which was a surprise to us . The landscaping is beautiful the pool is so inviting to with Direct access onto a lovely beach. They even had a couple of paddle boards and a 2 person canoe which were free to use. Every member of staff was so lovely we felt so lucky to have picked this little gem.

We loved it at Blue Turtle! Lovely villa accomodation. Really clean, and stylish decor. The whole team were so friendly and caring. The restaurant was so good that we ate there a lot! Delicious French pastries, traditional Thai food, and the mojitos were amazing! The water filters onsite and the glass bottles provided, were fantastic. So good to reduce the amount of plastic being used.

Nothing that the owners can do, but the beach out front had a lot of rubbish pollution and the water wasn’t clean enough for us to enjoy swimming in. A real shame that so much of Asia is like this now. Definitely a reason we may not return to Koh Samui.

Just outside of the main area. Easy to walk into town. Very pretty rooms and perfect for our family of 4. We were all very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily and of a high standard. The pool area was nice with the restaurant attached which served very good selection of dishes. We had lunch here every day. Right on the beach which was nice to walk along, the sea is very shallow so you had to walk a way out to swim. Very enjoyable trip and would recommend.

The pool area was sometimes very busy with young families and as it was quite a small area could be quite noisy and hard to have a relaxing dip/swim with out getting dive bombed next to or a football bounce your way.

We loved this property!! The staff were fantastic so welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Nikki for helping sort our ferry to Koh Tao, we really appreciated the support. The villa style huts were perfect our whole group were blown away by the style, cleanliness and overall feel. The rooms were cleaned daily, we were given fresh beach towels too. It was one of our favourite stays during our Thailand trip. Would highly recommend.

No dislikes just to pre-warn that the nicer beach area to sunbathe and go in the sea is around a 20 minute walk along the beach to the right. We personally enjoyed this walk and would happily do it again to stay at Blue turtle!

Staff were lovely, looked after our needs, were very attentive, and went out of their way to help with any issues and offered advice on day trips, etc. Large family rooms, AC worked well, which was an added boon with the heat and humidity. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the bar/restaurant had lots on offer, and literally beach front. A reasonably sized swimming pool, Couldn't ask for more. We arrived as a group of 10 family members, I feel we were adopted by the Blue Turtle team. Just an awesome experience.

Amazing staff from reception to the pool maintenance chap (who actually helped clean our shoes off when stepping into oil). The hotel was small and lovely with amazing character! All 3 receptionists were lovely! The bar and waiting staff were also amazing as well as the chef! Amazing food all week!

The beach was a bit dirty in the first few days and regardless of the effort of the hotel staff, it was engine oil making it horrible due to the tanker crash... nothing the hotel.can do about it. 5-10 mind walk on the beach and the oil disappear due to the reef.

Lovely hotel . Big spacious room and terrace. Nikki at reception very kind and helpfull, Also Benny, Mod, Aor, Celio, Dao .... Thanks for your good services ! Actually ALL personnel I meet were very nice people. When a terrace light was broken down in the evening, Dao came to repair immediatly, even after her working hours. Very pleasant also to see that guests don't block deckchairs in the morning by putting their towels .... Food choice and quality in their restaurant is excellent.

The shower: low water pressure, hardly lukewarm water and very old chalked showerhead. Also a pity the hotel doesn't put any tablesor chairs on the (little) beach before the hotel.

Small, almost new Hotel, with maybe 20 bungalows and rooms, restaurant with excellent choice of typical local dishes, with beach view. Possible to le Au around the pool and at the beach. The hotel is quiet, also no load neighbour hotel, restaurants or clubs. You can see the planes, but hardly hear them. Staff is extreme friendly and helpful. Location perfect on the Main Street; easy to get transport, or walk to the Main Street for dinner.

Mattresses could be a bit softer.
