Everything. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent for variety and choice. Pool was lovely and perfect location for massage, pubs and restaurants.

The only slight problem was that other guests would save pool beds and not use them. We didn’t have an issue as when spending the day at the pool we would be down early. However, frustrating to see others miss out and some people only using their pool bed for 10 minutes but keeping their belongings there for just in case.

Beautiful views, amazing pool and clean, spacious rooms. HUGE glass shower in the centre of the room. Steps from restaurants & bars & the Fisherman’s Village. A good breakfast with some items & coffees prepared to order. We hired a car through the hotel - easy, reasonable price (£40 for the day), great car. Do drive round Koh Samui, it’s easy & mainly one circular road. We went into the mountains - great fun but you can’t get across, the road was too poor on the top. I’d recommend this hotel, we’d stay again. Near to the airport but no noise etc.

More storage, the tiny wardrobe between 2 isn’t enough, and the room has plenty of space for more furniture. Please can you get a woman in to sort the lighting. There is no mirror without a down lighter above - you try doing your make up when you can keep my just see your face! The wooden plinths around the bed are begging for unsuspecting ankles to bash into them & late night loo trip bruising. Not user friendly. Charge sensible rates for your space, no one will use it when the spa’s on the strip are so cheap & great quality. I know I’m being picky but these are easy to sort & would improve the customer experience hugely.

My second visit to Hansar actually, it is got one of the best locations, fisherman village shops/restaurants & bars are right next door, the rooms are comfy and well maintained, the pool is gorgeous with a lovely view of the beach, the staff were really warm and super sweet,

- I think the should re-name the room i was in, i had asked for a sea-view room and what i got was a ground floor behind the pool seating room and when i asked they said this is the sea view. It wasnt. I was just staring at people’s heads on the pool chairs. - the last day of my stay was u really unpleasant, they decided to renovate the room right next to mine and were operating a floor buffer machine that started early morning till late afternoon and wall bangs gave me a headache and as soon as i opened the terrace door the smell of paint was overwhelming. It ruined the last day of my stay. I at least should have been notified of the work in advance so i could have changed the room or even booked somewhere else for the last two days.

We loved the location, the lovely pool, the massive balcony with sea view, the comfy bed, the service from the staff was great and the breakfast selection for a vegan family was the best we have had.

The room had a slight damp smell from the air con and marble floor was a little slippery. The room needed a touch up decor wise, the balcony door was a but worn and the walls in places needed a refresh.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hansar Samui Resort & Spa and had a really enjoyable and relaxing time. The service stood out as one of the best we’ve experienced—staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The location was great: quiet and peaceful, but also close to local shops and cafés, which we could easily reach on foot. The hotel’s direct beach access was a big plus and made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We spent most of our time just enjoying the hotel itself, as it had everything we needed to relax. We ate all our meals at the hotel—both in the restaurant and through room service—and the food was consistently very good. We also tried a few drinks from the bar and really liked them. Our room had large windows, which gave us plenty of natural light and some lovely views of the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. One of the highlights for us was the spa, where we had a fantastic foot massage that we’d definitely recommend. Since we stayed several days, we also used the laundry service, which was convenient and well-handled. Throughout our stay, we noticed and appreciated the high standard of cleanliness—both in our room and around the hotel. Overall, Hansar Samui was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay, and we’d be happy to return on a future trip to Koh Samui.

Although every lunch and dinner dish we ordered from the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast buffet had room for improvement.

The hotel is beautiful, well located next to the fisherman village and the beach walkthrough with many restaurants and bars. Rooms are specious and well designed, but have no inner doors so the bed area, the vanity mirror and sinks, toilet and shower are all sharing one space with no doors to separate between them. Staff is super nice and accomodating.

Menu should be more diverse , include chicken & veg dishes with continental taste as not everyone is Sea food lover.

Excellent location for Fisherman's Village. Hotel is clean and comfortable with excellent service from all staff members. Not many families with young children around as the hotel does not offer as much as others in the area for kids so it is great for couples, friends trips or solo travelers. Breakfast is wonderful with an al a carte option included with a semi buffet. Gym is clean and well equipped - some fitness classes would be nice to include in the future!

Bathrooms are open plan with the bedroom so little privacy for friends. Even the loo didn’t have a proper door - so you need to know each other very well

The staff were great, especially Noi who looked after us by the pool who was attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was lovely to have a big bath tub in the room. Breakfast was fantastic, with a massive selection of foods from around the world.

The room smelled damp. The coffee facilities in the room were very basic and there was no milk. The minibar was also very basic for a 5 star hotel. The air conditioning was too powerful and noisy, so woke up freezing! It would be nice if they had a second adults only pool, as there were large family groups who took over the pool area and were quite noisy. There is plenty of space for this. The gardens in general are quite sparse, with just a huge lawn. It's a shame there aren't more tropical plants which would make the outside space feel much more special.
