The location is good - close to lots of good restaurants and beside the beach. For those not familiar with Da Nang, note that you are not close to the Dragon Bridge (25 to 30 min walk) but that was no problem for us. The beds are really comfortable. Probably the most comfortable we have had in Vietnam so far. Breakfast is available early which helped us as we had an early flight the morning of check out

The gym is not working properly and is really small. It is also right beside the cafe so even if it was working, it would not be comfortable working out beside people enjoying a coffee The pool and lounge area is tiny. The pictures really misled us into thinking it was much bigger. The room and bathroom were small. Only one person could fit in the bathroom at a time. We were misinformed about an excursion which resulted in us not being able to go to it which was disappointing. Mistakes happen though so it is understandable- just maybe do your own research on activities in Da Nang and not rely on the staff. The facilities in the hotel did not feel up to scratch compared to the star rating. I have stayed in 2 star hotels with better facilities.

In our room there was a window that opened up to a random tiny area which also connected to a neighbouring window. If both windows were opened you could see into your neighbours room. (Not really a problem but strange) On checking out, Staff was very insistent on us doing a review on the spot (which we did not do)

The location of Halina Hotel & Apartments is excellent, in a vibrant area of Da Nang but also just a short walk to the beach. Lots of shops around the hotel. The room was well appointed, decorated in nice tones. We would have preferred a stand-alone shower instead of over the bath. Breakfast had a variety of Asian dishes as well as other options, eggs etc. Good sized, well decorated breakfast room. The pool area was quite small with only a few loungers and not much room otherwise. Pool was very clean and there was a great view of the ocean from there. The staff were excellent, especially the reception area staff who were helpful and very friendly. The concierge was also very obliging.

The staff were lovely. Lan (Rosie) spoke excellent English and was a pleasure to communicate with. Everyone at this hotel was friendly, efficient and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had a wonderful selection of foods. The pool isn't big but the layout makes it adequate. Gym is also small but has enough dumbells if you know what you're doing ;) Ps: the beds are exceptionally comfortable

The one elevator was small and would stop on unnecessary levels even when there was no body there. The location of the breakfast egg station is a little crammed and people would be milling around it, while staff members also needed to access the kitchen through it as well.

Everything about the hotel was great although when we first checked in there was a surcharge for using a credit card which is not mentioned anywhere. We were not the only guests to face this. It all got sorted at the end although with a few words. The concierge was very helpful and always greeting us and providing drinks, welcoming us. Rosie was amazing in every way,, smiling, laughing and being posiitve. She helped us to book a 10 seater to take us to Ba Na Hills and then onto Hoi An to our next hotel. On our return she greeted us asking about our trip away and then helped us to sort out massages, an early start in the steam room, taxis to the airport, booked us in next door room to our family of the second night, as well as advice. Thank you Rosie, you do a great job and provide customer service as it should be. Some of your peers should look to you to see your outstanding service with customers!

The AC in our room did not work properly and we had to ask for a fan. Not many vegetarian options for breakfast.

The staff were amazing, really nice and helpful! It was our honey moon and they surprised us with decorating the room and we also were upgrade to a better room with sea view. A big thank you to the Halina staff 💕

The first room we booked was a suite and it smelled a bit smoke and the AC didn’t work so great so they also put a fan in the room. But thankfully we got upgraded to another room, which was much better so we had a great stay for 7 days in the other room with everything working and being very clean! 😍

The stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. Upon our late evening check-in, the staff welcomed us with a refreshing cold tea, which was a perfect way to quench our thirst after the journey. The room was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. A kettle, coffee sachets, and tea were provided for added convenience. The hotel also paid great attention to bathroom details, offering amenities such as a shower cap, cotton swabs, a razor, a comb, a hairdryer, and soft hotel robes. Towels were replaced daily, and the room was cleaned every day, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and attentive. They assisted in arranging tickets to Sun World Ba Na Hills and helped organize transportation at a reasonable price. Breakfast was served in a rich buffet style, featuring fresh fruit, a variety of dishes, and warm pastries. The staff continuously replenished the food, ensuring that nothing was ever missing. A dedicated chef prepared fresh scrambled eggs, omelets, or fried eggs upon request. The coffee was exceptional – freshly ground by the machine before brewing, delivering an excellent taste. A highlight of the hotel is the rooftop pool, offering a breathtaking view of the beach and the sea. It’s the perfect spot to relax and admire the beautiful surroundings. The hotel pays attention to every detail, making the stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality – I highly recommend this place! 😊

The staff members are very friendly and helpful. Not only for handling general enquiries, one of the staff Rosie also checked on our stay and any issues during the stay. Thanks to night staff who helped getting an ambulance to the hospital for my father who had a pretty bad flu and gastritis at the same time. They also do massages and helped booking tours to great itineraries! they were fun.

i didn't mind the fact that they changed one of our room during our stay, bc it was an "upgrade". but the shower and basin drains took 3 mins to drain. so I unclogged with hot water. Mum wasn't so delighted with her room due to no proper ventilation (very tiny window). since this is in December.. it was surely musky and humid, so expected a bit of smell. at least the beds were huge.

Location is perfect, close to the beach and many shops and restaurants around. good selection of both vietnamese and European style breakfast. But the best part is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. You can have an open conversation with them and they will work hard to please you. They are absolutely fantastic. To name a few staff that i spoke to often - Cara, Rosie, and Snow. Cam on!

The noise outside was at times a bit disturbing to my sleep. There's a bar across the road which operates until late, but the city doesn't sleep and there are scooter sellers that blast advertisements for a long time
