Beautiful setting, wonderful outdoor pool. Well located ...walking distance (30 mins) to centre. Great views from my bedroom-balcony (5th floor) and upstairs bar. Good size room and bathroom, and TV with English channels, incl CNN. Mini bar and good strong hairdryer. Staff kindly delivered iron and ironing board very quickly on my request. Reasonably priced wine- beer-food and nice terrace in downstairs bar.

One morning, very little hot water in shower. Staff in upstairs bar and reception not very friendly. Quite limited bar menu. No tea or coffee making facilities and no free water provided. Indoor pool was out of use which wasn't communicated prior to arrival.

Unforgettable view overlooking stunning Segovia, comfortable room and a perfect place to relax, while having access to all that this wonderful city has to offer. Breakfast was great, and we loved the swimming pool. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a small balcony where we could take in the vista. We loved that you can eat at the hotel (with THAT view). The food in the restaurant is quite good. The value for money is excellent given all this parador offers.

The parador is a few kms from the town and the only way to get into town (unless you have a car) is by taxi. A shuttle bus that runs a few times a day would be a wonderful addition to this hotel. Having said that, taxis weren’t hard to get even during the San Juan fiesta week. And the hotel is so reasonably priced that you can afford to add on some taxi rides (usually 8-12 euros into town or back).

Excellent location and great food with lots of attention to details.

AC in room wasn’t working , maintenance came twice and after change of room also the second room had limited AC, couldn’t cool the room and was very noisy. My feeling was that they limit the temperature to save energy. Reception told us in the morning that the temperature outside dropped in the night and it was nice and fresh. Unfortunately the AC system doesn’t get fresh air from outside and only recycles the air in the room so you are fully dependent on the AC system. Several other guests complained about this during breakfast as they too experienced the same issue. For a hotel in this price range AC should not be an issue.

This was our first visit to a 'Parador' in Spain so Segovia was an excellent choice. We had a superb room on the 4th floor that overlooked the whole of Segoivia, which was fantastic for both day and night! The room was both large and well appointed and the en-suite bathroom was well appointed and complete with Marble walls, floor and sink basin. We had half board so had both breakfast and dinner in the fantastic dining room which again had the super views of Segovia, and the food was really very good with a superb choice and great staff that were very attentive. This type of hotel - Parador - is very good for experiencing the old school way of Spanish hospitality and I highly recommend it.

Due to the extreme weather that occurred on Thursday night (high wind and rain) we had a drought and wind noise coming through the patio door/window from the balcony, we dropped down the outside roller blind which helped and with the thick curtails pulled over it became acceptable but better door seals would be better.

The view from the room is world class - the aqueduct, the cathedral, the alcazar, really beautiful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, and high quality sheets. Service was overall really good (with the exception of an inattentive bar tender in the afternoon). In the morning, I went to the restaurant to ask for a coffee, and the women who brought it out then carried it all the way to my room for me!

There's not much to dislike. Others have complained that this parador is too modern, but it's quite nice nonetheless. It's also not easily walkable into town, but you know that going in.

Great views and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast. We liked the throwback brutalist architecture.

With this view, the pool area could be spectacular with remodeling the pool from its large utilitarian and unattractive enclosed form to an infinity pool with that spectacular view of Segovia’s skyline. We were also quite disappointed that there was no bar service at the pool. The shade umbrellas were too small for two loungers, prompting its to split up and take two umbrellas, and even then having to move to stay in the shade every 30 min.

Superb Paradore at Segovia. Grt views from balcony over the city. You could walk in but its about 3kms and in the heat we got a taxi both ways for appx 10 eoros each way. Grt room. Motorbike friendly with undercover parking or a garage which cost 8 euros pn. Bike felt secure in undercovrr stea. Grt big room, comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Superb breakfast. Eve meal nice too and at a good price. Pool area good with a big pool. We enjoyed our stay here. Segovia is a grt place to visit.

The view is spectacular and it was good value for money and I just really liked the style of the building

I liked everything but the staff were a bit brusque - as if every time I asked something I was bothering them - I am not American and don’t expect fake service and other staff were essentially the same in every other hotel in Castile we stayed in. One thing that bothered me was that late check out was advertised but then suddenly unavailable, without so much as a sorry from the staff. We are from Ireland where everyone tends to be very friendly so perhaps this was just a cultural difference.

wonderful interior and exterior, view from the pool is spectactular, friendly helpful staff too. I loved the artwork selection around the hotel too and the contrast between the mid century modern design with all the ancient architecture and beauty surrounding us.

The breakfast was disappointing, as the hotel, in general, makes a lot of good efforts towards sustainability, but the coffee is individually wrapped pods, which rather undoes them. The pastries and bread were not very good compared to the excellent standard of other food on offer.

Amazing view over the old city from our room and from the open air swimming pool and gardens. Large comfortable room and bed. Covered free parking on site. Taxi fares for the short ride into the centre were reasonably priced. The restaurant food was good and waiting staff helpful.

Swimming pool was unheated so very cold (despite warm weather)! Only complaint with our room was that the sliding door into the bathroom stuck and was awkward to use. We expected the bar to offer a range of cocktails but only one or two basic ones were available: disappointing in a hotel of this standard.
