Typical tourist hotel under new management, trying hard to offer quality service. The hotel is nice and some rooms are being renovated, basic but clean. During my first night the weather in Genoa had turned chilly but the bed was only made up with a sheet and cover, and during the night felt cold. On the closet were only two single blankets, not a double one. The communication about the breakfast made it seem that it was included. Overall it was a good stay, even comfortable. I liked the location as it was not at the center of the old town but nearby the train station and metro and bus stations, on a nice square with trees. Noise was not bad at night and I could sleep easily the two last nights.

The location was ideal for what I needed. What I wanted was a clean room, safe area and breakfast provide, and that’s what I got.

-The elevator was very tiny. I was wearing my backpack and had 2 pieces of luggage , this was s tight fit. You disembark from the elevator between floors, so you either go up eight stairs or down 9 stairs to get to your room. -The Bathrooms are very tiny. Not a lot of room to move. -No information on how to contact front desk on phone. (I had a water leak in my room, dialed 0. No answer) I had to go to the front desk myself to get someone to take care of the issue.

Ignore the negative reviews on Google, this is a fine hotel, very close the center with a very friendly staff. it is located very conveniently at short walking distance to the city center. I liked how easily we got a parking place in the nearby garage (at an extra cost) while located in the city center.

The hotel is next to the Metro station, which we weren't aware of and was pleasantly surprised by. Very easy access to the port and the beautiful old town

The hotel isn't in a very pretty part of Genova and not convenient for the airport, however a taxi to the airport cost €30, which we thought was very reasonable

The location is great. Right opposite the port. You can walk, unless your ship is in the 3rd Beth away. Ours was, so MSC sent a bus to pick us up at the 1st berth so we didn’t have to walk that far.

Very Tiny elevatorFits 2 people with luggage. OK to climb if you’re on the 1st floor, but I was on the 5th. Also my single room was very small. Just room enough for the single bed.

I like it because it’s near to the train station and all the bus stops and metro. Then there’s a store under the hotel where you can buy your needs and wants. And it’s easy to locate the hotel. The staffs are nice.

Room and bed sheets were clean, bathroom was new and clean. The staff was very kind. Discrete breakfast.

As always, the neighborhood around any principal train station is not very welcoming and the people you can encounter, especially when the sun goes down, are not the best. Nevertheless, there is a lot of police during night time so the safety is anyway well preserved.

The staff were very pleasant, always willing to give suggestions or to help. Smiles go along way for me and the staff always had smiles.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, but the elevators were very small and the elevator stops mid floors, just different. I’m very pleased of the elevator.

The location was great as we were catching a flix bus and the departure point was right next to the hotel. Also only a 15 min drive from the airport. We walked to the marina for dinner as it was close by too. We stayed only 1 night, the room was simple but served its purpose. Staff were really friendly and helpful and let us use their computer.

The only issue I had was in the toilet under the rim there was some mould, but I think this could be removed with some special cleaning products. Other than that the room and bathroom were clean. The location has some rough sleepers out the front, not the hotels fault of course.

OK Hotel. Not far from center. Parking facilities in Central Station parking garage, very close to the hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel not far from old city (15 minutes walk). Metro station almost in front of hotel, free at certain hours of the day.

The square in front of the hotel appears to be a gathering place for refugees or homeless people (?). All friendly and harmless people, but provides a strange feeling upon arrival. It takes a couple of hours to get used to it.
