The staff is absolutely amazing and I appreciate everything they've done for me (including a small hiccup with the bill I received, that they corrected right away). I also rented motorbikes from the hotel and they worked great, so it made my stay super easy. Oh, and the massage they offer is definitely something I would recommend!

The bungalow is very pretty, but I think next time I wouldn't book the deluxe one with a private bath outside - unfortunately it's very out in the open, facing the restaurant, so you don't have much privacy. I preferred to spend my time in the shared pool, which is a little more covered (and since it's a very small property, there are barely any guests hanging out at the pool).

We have much enjoyed our stay there! great location in the middle of nature. very helpful and friendly staff. good breakfast. Swimming pool offers a relaxing option after a day out. We have booked massages during our stay and the quality was great!

only disappointment is the "extra surcharge" applied to payment with credit card. Many Vietnamese locations apply a 2,5-3% surcharge when using Mastercard / Visa payment... Trang An Lamia Bungalow are adding an additional 7% on top. It doesn't feel right... We were informed upfront (fair enough) yet it adds an unforeseen 10% to the prices communicated on booking.com. We would recommend to identify this more clearly on booking.

Our stay at Trang An Lamia Bungalows was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We stayed 4 nights in a bungalow with mountain view. The bungalow was rustic but very comfortable and the soaking pool was used each day - absolutely worth it! Breakfast was fantastic, we used the swimming pool every afternoon, they provided laundry services, and we rented a scooter for 3 days. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. We were on our honeymoon and having this much time to tour around all of the sights in the region and to have some down time to relax was amazing.

We had an incredible experience staying at this hotel in Vietnam. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — their attention, kindness, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly made a difference. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere after long days of exploring. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietnam. The service, cleanliness, and comfort were outstanding. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

I would highly recommend anyone visiting Ninh Binh to stay at Trang An Lamia, particularly if you are looking for a peaceful stay away from the big cities in an idyllic setting. The food was the most delicious food we had throughout our entire 3 week stay in Vietnam. The chef was kind enough to share one of her recipe with us for the lemongrass chilli tofu, as we loved it so much. The room was very comfortable. You really do not need to leave the property!

Something to note, is that this property is located 20-30 minutes from town. We opted to cycle to attractions in the area due to the exorbitant cost of taxis/grab.

Situated in wonderful landscape at the edge of Trang An. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Any arrangements such as tours or city (Hanoi) transfers were no problem. Our room was kept clean during our stay even though we said it wasn't necessary on a daily basis. We used the premises bicycles - motorbikes were available for those who wanted them. We (and I think most of the guests) ate our evening meal at the homestay and the food was good. There was a choice of 3 breakfast menus and the amount of food was more than enough for us.

A Truly Amazing Experience! Our stay at Trang An Lamia Bungalow was absolutely fantastic! Kim, An, and Dan are incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything – their service is outstanding. The surroundings are breathtaking, with stunning mountains, beautiful rice fields, and the most picturesque bungalows. The food is both delicious and affordable, making every meal a treat. What makes this place even more special is the atmosphere – all the guests feel like friends, and everyone can easily connect and chat. There are amazing opportunities for exploration, including trips to breathtaking temples and canoe rides through stunning waterways, where you not only paddle around the majestic mountains but also inside them! This place was amazing amazing amazing. I really have nothing bad to say about only some things to be aware of. First of all the owner speaks perfect English and is so nice and helpful. The staff speak very little English but we were able to navigate through it. All were friendly and helpful. The puppies and 2 adult dogs were an added bonus, but know that they are there to protect the property so sometimes the barking is a little much. The food was really good, I mean really good! But a bit pricey compared to other areas but reasonable still. You are 10-20min from most attractions, which is not far with the speed limit in the area. I think the best way to get around is by scooter. You get enough exercise at the attractions, and the scooters are a cheap adventure on their own. The facility is very clean, we had no issues with critters, saw a couple frogs around the property but that’s it. Mosquitos are present but not annoying with a good bug spray. The setting is very peaceful and majestic. I can’t wait to be back.

We had a lovely stay at Trang An Lamnia bungalow!! We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was absolutely gorgeous! So comfortable and peaceful. It’s located about a 15 minute drive from Tam Coc and the main site-seeing areas so would need to get Grabs or else rent a scooter but we loved how peaceful and quiet it was! Dan and his team were so friendly and helpful. They also arrange day tours of the main tourist attractions in ninh binh from there which is a good option too! The food at the restaurant was really good and we ended up eating there everyday. You feel very at one with nature there but at night sometimes the frogs in the nearby rice fields could be loud so would recommend bringing some earplugs if a light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the ninh binh region!

Nothing, it was lovely!

The hosts and staff are all so wonderful, nice, and accommodating. They made us feel like friends or family and were extremely helpful in helping with transportation, tours, and all kinds of questions that we had. A kind lady gifted us some home grown bananas for our trip to the airport - just one of the little things. The location is tucked away in an area surrounded by mountains and nature and really allowed us to unplug. Fun interactions with the dogs at the property. We are there for several meals and everything was delicious (we are a group of both Viet and Americans for reference).

Noises from roosters and dogs may disrupt light sleepers. Bring earplugs to be on the safe side.
