We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The studio was spacious, spotlessly clean, and ideal for a couple. The sofa was very comfortable to relax on, and we enjoyed afternoon coffees on the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to cook when we wanted to stay in. The location was perfect – just a short stroll to the beach, plenty of nearby eateries, and a central location to all the main sights.

The bed was a bit soft. There was a very strong curry smell in the apartment from a previous occupant. This was obviously not a fault of the accommodation.

These are very comfortable apartments and well located for exploring Whitianga and the Coromandel Peninsula. We had a large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a washer and dryer as well as a large balcony that offered water views over the beach and to the harbour. The apartment was very clean and modern and had access to a parking space.

We would have liked a few more pantry items, eg cooking oil and foil, so as to make use of the kitchen for dinner one night. We’d been on the go for a week and were looking forward to some dining in. These aren’t the kind of things you carry with you if you’re on the move and staying in areas for just a couple of nights.

The location of this property was perfect. A few short walk to the beach and town. Every morning we walked around the corner to the coffee shop for our morning coffee. The apartment was great for my mums 60th with plenty of room for everyone to have our own space. Very clean and great facilities within the apartment.

We did run out of dishwashing powder and toilet paper, but easily resolved by going to the office and asking for more. I believe they would typically restock during a longer stay but it was Christmas so there was a public holiday, so no complaints!!

Waterviews off the balcony, dishwasher, good layout of room, comfortable furniture, full size fridge, parking, netflix, good kitchen facilities, bedroom had good space (enough for a portacot next to bed), good security/locks (not that you'd need it in Whitianga but for peace of mind).

No ramp to lift access (with baby and pram made it a little difficult). No undercover from room to carpark (rain comes through timber flooring), it was pouring when we needed to check out and pack the car with the baby so made it quite inconvenient. No aircon in bedroom only in lounge area. Bathroom/shower was very tight, a larger person would find it difficult. No full size mirror. Only two towels provided and when we asked for another couple we were questioned why we didn't wash them ourselves in the provided communal washing machine (which we didn't know about) and then given the towels after we explained that the baby needed one for his bath.... Overall the stay was great, and only giving this feedback for future improvement 😊

I recently stayed at Crow's Nest and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and amazing restaurants and cafes. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a particularly comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. And to top it all off, the rate was exceptionally great value for money. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The property was in a great location, close walking distance to the town, cafes, restaurants, shops and all facilities and just over the road to the beach. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for two nights but would have been happy to be there for a longer stay. There was plenty of room in the lounge with good access to SKY tv so we could watch that very important rugby match in comfort! The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom small but perfectly formed. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, crockery and cooking utensils. There was a balcony with table and chairs and a good view to the sea. All in all, a good choice of accommodation in Whitianga.

Our one bedroom apartment was huge, more space than we needed actually. Kitchen had decent amenities. No problem cooking simple meals at home. Loved the location, quick walk to the wharf, center of town and grocery stores.

Our apartment was located at the back of the hotel. Our view was of the large SUV parked below our balcony and the parking lot of the motel behind our hotel. We found the parking garage difficult to maneuver and opted to park on the street in front of the hotel.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful with amazing facilities its was so comfortable with great full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the power shower was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and right next to the beach and the town centre. Free parking for two cars in their underground car park. We stayed a few nights and one of the nicest places we stayed. The staff were also lovely and gave some great tips of places to go

Nothing is fab. Check in closes a little early in the evening at 6.30 if you’re travelling far might be tight so let them know if advance

This is our second stay at Crow's Nest after 2021. I do not have much to add to what I wrote before. This is an excellent place to stay, obviously given that we chose to go back and stay there. This time we had a 4 bedroom apartment. We had the living room, kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The other three bedrooms are upstairs with one en suite. We had spectacular views of the ocean from the windows. The town centre and eating places are a stone's throw away. We love this place and wanted to stay longer.

As noted this was our second visit in three years; so clearly we do not have anything negative to report. This is a lovely place and strongly recommended.

Location,location,location. we love it here, it's our go to in Whitianga. Well appointed apartments with everything you need.Handy to everything and lovely staff, clean and comfortable. We will be back.

Have you changed your linen suppliers? The sheets are horrible, they feel like heavy plastic & make you feel very hot. Our hot water cylinder packed it in but there were absolutely NO dramas with moving us to another room.
