Excellent accommodation. Quiet with beautiful surroundings which makes it so relaxing. Loved the gardens, birdlife and seeing the kangaroos. My daughter stayed in the adult only rooms....what a beautiful set up for her to enjoy her birthday. We stayed in one of the units ...very comfortable. You had access to on ground transport if needed. Restaurant was lovely or you could walk over the road to the local tavern. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The Chateau is close to many of the local attractions and vineyards.

I didn't get to try the pool.

The room had a lovey view of the golf course and the bathroom was large with a lovely spa bath and power shower. I also visited the spa and had a great experience, great treatment and the decor and facilities set the tone of relaxation and luxury. The staff were very helpful at all times and a pleasure to deal with.

The room was not quite as plush as I had expected due to hotel reputation and price paid. The room had a great view of the golf course but sadly the outdoor table was so badly damaged that it put you off sitting around it. This issue was rectified by the very helpful staff. The room could also benefit from a long mirror on the inside of the one of the cupboard doors.

We loved the space and the villa. Really spacious and super comfortable bed. Large bath was a treat too. All the staff were super helpful and responsive too.

We wanted to use the spa and I feel they are not upfront about the fact this needs to be booked and paid for in advance. We arrived wanting to use the spa and was told not only was it $60 extra each but there were no spaces for us because others had all booked ahead of time. This was a disappointment especially as so much is made of the spa - it was one of the reasons we booked. Our lunch in clubhouse was also pretty disappointing - so some work on the quality of food available there would be good.

The Villa was excellent. Very comfortable, spacious with comfortable furnishings and the fireplace was a great amenity. The outlook over open fields was a joy and the rabbits and roos didn't disappoint. I had requested a ground floor unit (mobility issues) and was pleased that this was provided as the stairs to the upper floors are external and we arrived in rain. The staff were very good to respond quickly to any request but otherwise not intrusive at all.

The pillows were very hard, more like bolsters, but the mattress was comfortable. Call me a dinosaur if you will but I would still like a booklet of instructions for appliances etc rather than the smart TV instructions. No criticism of the excellent, large TV though.

Breakfast at legends in the morning was a fantastic feed, with all you could ask for both hot and cold great variety of Yogurt and berry cups, and all the staples of eggs bacon sausages hash browns ETC. staying in the villa's you just request a golf cart for a lift to where you need to go. we had dinner at the nearby Nineteen restaurant and were dropped off by golfcart and collected

There wasn't anything to complain about staff were helpful and polite, place is clean and tidy and well looked after lawns and walkways. Access is easy to areas within the resort

Need to do some maintenance and repairs - shower and bathroom tiles, basin cracks and missing plug, the tap handle on bath came off a few times. It would be good to have more supplies available, such as toilet paper and body wash/shampoo. They were limited and we ran out. Staff were very friendly. However, at one stage we were trying to relax where, nearby, one of the staff were gossiping about a new staff member quite loudly and we had to move away from our seat (which we were quite enjoying) so that we could avoid overhearing it and having it ruin our time. Was quite a negative conversation and difficult to not to overhear.

We had a huge room for 2 people, which was very nice and comfortable. The room was spotless and had a view of the golf course as described. The location is great, close to restaurants, wineries, cheese factories, and other activities. It had good-quality toiletry products provided, compared we had in other accommodations. Overall, we had a happy experience staying in the Chateau, and we highly recommend it.

Only one small thing I would like to mention is that to rearrange the bed faces the TV. At the moment, the bed is at the side way from the TV. We could turn a little bit TV angle face towards us. Often, people watch TV in bed when in a hotel.

It is quite difficult to go out without a car, as getting an Uber can take 30 to 40 minutes. This makes it complicated to move around, especially if you want to visit nearby vineyards or go wine tasting without driving. Regarding breakfast, which is quite expensive, it only includes machine coffee, and you have to pay extra if you want a freshly made one. For the price, the breakfast could definitely be much better

Loved the space in the villa, did not expect the amenities and room to move. Villa was clean and had a beautiful outlook onto the golf course, surrounded by kangaroos and hot air balloons. We enjoyed the quiet, did not hear much of our neighbours which was good. Staff on the whole were very friendly and happy, check in was busy and driveway was blocked which was really frustrating and none of the staff moved to rectify the blockage. At check out we mentioned a couple of issues but they did not seem to be impressed about that.

Didn't like that the reception area drive was clogged on arrival and nothing was done about it. The 'taxi' to move guests around was parked in the reception driveway meaning that no one could pass through which caused some traffic blockages, the doorman did nothing to rectify this. Advised staff at checkout that we had wasps in the room and the response was 'oh it's that season'. We also advised where the wasp nest was, an apparent plumbing issue with a valve constantly opening and closing quite noisily in one of the pipes connected to our villa and a faulty light socket - just trying to make the next persons stay a bit better but not sure that it was appreciated.

Golf was very good, the shop had everything that was needed and equipment was available for rent. The villa apartment was very spaceious and well equipped! Very nice areal, many kangaroos in the morning and friendly staff! Especially the cleaning personnel was friendly and considerate.

The Nineteen restaurant did not quite fit a 5 star hotel environment, it had self service and seemed a bit cold and more like a fast food place. The furniture in the room was a bit outdated and looked used, and the bathroom had lots of spiderwebs at the window and did not seem inviting to use the bathtub. It was a bit weird that the small spa area is only accessible if you pay the normal entry prices, especially if you are a hotel guest on site.
