The hotel is okay, but be aware that they charge a lot of hidden fees, costs, services (and taxes) on your invoice. This amount is more than the taxes indicated by on the Booking application. On checking in they say is a ‘deposit’ but you won’t see it back, and there are so many amounts on the invoice so you will never figure it out (even for 1 night). As a European traveler your are not used to this because - by law - services and taxes are included in the end consumer price (except city tax because that is variable).

The bed was very comfortable! The room was clean. There was ample Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower and hand soap and lotion at the sink.

I asked for a late check-out (noon). Unfortunately there was an issue with the room key card not working after 11am which prevented us from being able to use the elevator to get to the room on the eighth floor.

The hotel was easily accesible by Train from the airport. It was just a short walk coming out of the subway. The location is also pretty central, with Eaton Centre and Nathan Phillips Square just walking distance away. Check in was fast and straighforward with a very welcoming staff. The view from our room was quite nice since we were on the top floor. It was a skyline of downtown Toronto with the CN tower visible. It lights up nicely at night. The bed was big and really comfty and the room had everything we needed. Water bottles were replenished everyday by housekeeping.

The area outside can get a little rough so we weren't really comfortable going out too late or too early. There was no breakfast included for our room. We also had to ask for an extra pair of room slippers because only one pair of slippers and robe was provided. The price was also a bit more than what was indicated on booking (tax included), but was most likely expected given that this was in downtown Toronto.

The location was really good. Subway station was just outside the hotel which we used many times. We also walked Younge street to the CN Tower which was a gentle stroll of around 25 mins. Also we walked to the Ontario Museum which again was also only a 25 mins walk Breakfast was nice and there was a good choice of food. Front staff were really good if you needed any help with anything. We were at the back of the hotel - no road noise at all. In fact no noise at all. From the hotels location you can basically get whatever you need (shops , food , bars , subway , bus , tram etc)

The bed was a little too soft for us ( but that is just us :) )

Excellent location, booked a year in advance so got a really good price which meant it was excellent value for money. Lovely and clean room, offers luggage storage on your last day with very friendly staff, fridge in room with complimentary water every day of your stay. Subway station outside the front door. Dove branded shower and hand products in bathroom was also a nice touch.

Quite a small room for four people with no room for small cases, found ourselves stepping over the cases to get past the beds, but not a huge problem for us. Shower not very powerful but was nice and hot, so again, it was not too much of a problem.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. 10/10. Beds were really comfortable - they had both firm and soft pillows on the bed so you had a choice - had never seen that before! I ate in the restaraunt twice for dinner - food was really good for hotel standards. Pool was great with great opening hours. Free water in the room was a lovely touch. Subway right down the road, with an overwhelming choice of restaraunts nearby! Would definitely stay again. I did not try breakfast or use the parking facilities.

The air con was loud. Didn't bother me personally, but might bother light sleepers.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had a fridge, tv, safe, hairdryer. Upon request they brought me a kettle. The receptionist gave me room options and I got to choose a quiet room. The staff were really helpful, kind and polite. The location really suited me, and was right beside a metro and bus stop. It was really quick to get to all the main attractions and in walking distance of good restaurants and bars.

Thankfully my room option didn't include breakfast. I paid for it one morning and I would not have enjoyed this everyday. Skip breakfast option and go to the lovely diner across the road! The gym is very small, as is the pool. It was fine for a quick workout but don't pick this hotel for the gym/pool option. The bathroom was just a little bit too small. Not all the toiletries they have are in the room, you have to request them. This is fine but they should let you know what is available beforehand. The hotel was also very expensive. I'm aware Toronto is an expensive city but I've stayed in tourist hotspot accommodation for half the cost.

Location is convenient- very close to subway station and to the city center, many restaurants/cafes/grocery stores nearby. The room was spacious enough and clean, toiletries provided in the bathroom. A/C in the room was functioning and could be set to desired temperature, we were provided additional blanket when asked for. Breakfast was good and included bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, assortment of baked goods, fruits and yogurt. I asked for the quiet room and received a room on the floor without kids, which was very convenient. Wi-fi was good and pass-coded. The room had a mini-fridge and a coffee-maker - a definite plus.

Mind that the hotel is in the downtown and in case any events are happening you can hear it even on the upper 20th floors. The was no A/C that we can feel on the hotel floors or in the elevators (elevators had the fan on), so it was pretty stuffy in summer. The bed was too much on the soft side to be comfortable.

Location excellent. Walkable to Younge street/Dundas Square where tourist hop on hop off bus was and where day trip buses to Niagara Falls etc picked up. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Walk in shower was amazing. The toiletries in bathroom were lovely. Plenty of hangers for clothes. Water bottles and coffee machine in room was a nice touch. The breakfast was nice. Darryl in the Thirty bar was an excellent bar tender. Our glasses were never empty for long and he was happy to recommend places to eat and things to do etc.

We booked a suite so had a living area separate from the bedroom not realising that meant there would be a lockable door between us and the living area, but also a door from living area to corridor and another lockable door from living area to a different room. It was jack & jill basically. I didn’t feel comfortable in the evening wandering about in nightwear into the living area with the other 2 doors, so we never used it. It was a waste of money really.

The King suite we stayed in was excellent. Lots of room for our family, with two bathrooms and two rooms. The location is excellent. This is our fourth time staying at this hotel. It's our go-to Toronto hotel because the price on Booking.com is often the best in the city. Walking distance to the subway, to Yonge St, to Allan Gardens, to restaurants, to Sick Kids hospital, to the Eaton Centre, to groceries, pharmacy, and shopping. The pool is a highlight for our children.

The line at reception often takes a few minutes, and the elevator often requires a fair amount of waiting. Parking is very challenging if you arrive too long after check-in time, especially in an SUV! Double-check the height of your vehicle against the info regarding the parking garage height, and be prepared for tight turns.
