I write a review from my previous stay back in August 2024. Even though I said I wouldn’t return, and I did, I stand by what I wrote about the hotel for that stay. Now, this time our stay was completely different. Feels like a totally different hotel. Feels like each and every one of my comments was heard and tended to (i don't believe it was exactly like that, but it does feel that way, and I appreciate it). The room we were given on the 5th floor was completely redone, and while we were there they were doing the whole bottom floor. Great update! Personnel at the lobby were great; maintenance people were professional and in correct uniform, and their work was great. You know when a place is well run when everything is okay and the work behind the scenes happens without you noticing; now, let me tell you: it did not go unnoticed by us! Again, I am revising my review from 1 year ago, and I need to say that my stay was back again at the expected Courtyard Marriott level. Thank you for everything!!

All was good... but the gym still is sub-par. Hopefully they'll update with the rest of the hotel

The room was great. Breakfast was so-so -- hardly anything was available other than coffee.

I resented having to load a new app into my phone in order to pay for overnight parking. The receptionist wouldn't take a credit card, check, or cash. By being forced to use the QR code, and had to accept the app's "Terms and Conditions" and "Privacy Policy," both of which are over-reaching and unacceptable to me.

Very clean and comfortable bed.

Daily parking costs and the lobby did not seem lively or welcoming. Sterile? Something about it just didn't feel welcoming. Crowded with furniture? Can't recall exactly. Low ceilings, maybe that made it seem darker?

Great staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of places to relax on property outside of rooms. Easy $15 paid parking across the street with security monitoring. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first but no issues. Would stay in a group if walking area at night but that’s typical for any downtown area. Facility was great especially for the price.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a nicely updated bathroom. Walking distance to campus.

Breakfast service was slow so be mindful if you are in a hurry. Should not have to pay for parking - they don’t validate it. But at least parking was conveniently next to hotel.

Very friendly upon arrival, quick check in, the room was much larger than expected and shown in the picture, very pleasant surprise

I stayed on the fold out couch, (single bed) the mattress is due to be replaced, you could feel the frame as soon as I layed down (i weigh 128lbs)

Very modern and clean

No coffee in the lobby… a Starbucks/dinette (no free breakfast).. the prices were ridiculous. I paid $8.50 for a “yogurt parfait “ that had an inch of yogurt, some blueberries and walnuts. My husband had eggs and bacon for $12.50 that was very mediocre. The hotel itself was very nice, but for the $$ we spent for a room, I was disappointed in the expensive breakfast options, and coffee. We will not stay there again…

Beautiful facility. Very clean and staff was AMAZING!!!! Friendly and helpful.

Parking lot. Paid $15.00 for parking and there was a huge hole in lot and lot is very dark, it could use some maintenance.

I did not like the parking situation. The lots were too dark and too far from the door. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel completely safe. Also, the nearest lot was under trees and my car was covered in bird poop after parking there overnight.

Nice new facility. Close to downtown Bloomington.

When we book the hotel, says: free breakfast. But when we checked in, they only issued one breakfast voucher for one person a day. So we had paid for rest of families. And breakfast is not good.
