A magic experience in Gothenburg! Dorsia Hotel & Restaurant – theatrical glamour where you are treated like royalty! Dorsia may be an exclusive boutique hotel, but it feels more like a palace as you could see on my attached photos. The storybook-style is really impressive! Each room is different. Our cool room (no 303) was very well appointed and spacious, equipped with everything you could want and plenty of towels. Scrupulously clean and perhaps the most comfortable bed for any hotel I have visited! The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Having visited some of the Worlds' finest hotels, I can confidently say that Dorsia ranks among the greatest. Dorsia is member of “Small luxury hotels of the world” for a reason. A huge congratulation to the whole team at Dorsia and keep up the hard work I know it is to keep a high service level like this! Are you looking for a magic experience in Gothenburg – Dorsia is the one you are looking for. It is not cheap, but you get good value for money! Highly recommended! Amazing staff and food

The rooms were just too compact for my liking. Mini bar doubled as a bed side table and interrupted our sleep. Would dine in the hotel next time but would not stay again unfortunately.

Breakfast was great with many choices and well presented. Staff were very attentive and happy to please but would have been good to have had a brief overview of the layout of the hotel! Our room was beautifully decorated with attention given to every detail. Loved the French piped music which created the perfect ambience! Thank you Dorsia Team for making our stay so wonderful!

What I enjoyed the most was a wonderful feeling of you get the moment you enter the sliding doors you feel as if you are entering another world from days long gone by of style, colour, art & a touch of decadence.

It's expensive. One slight annoyance is that I'm NOT a fan of Édith Piaf and her music does seem to be in a repetitive loop at the hotel.

Splendid! It felt like living a long-held dream - to step back in time to the Belle Epoque. We loved it - the furnishings and design are even more beautiful than the photos. Attention to detail is spectacular. Breakfast was amazing.

The room was perhaps smaller than I’d expected so if you’re splashing out it could be worth booking a larger room, but it also doesn’t matter because there are so many spaces around the hotel you can sit and enjoy the ambiance. The light switches take a bit of working out but who cares - this place is magic…

Ladies at the reception were wonderful and my wishes were well heard. The room was quite big, actually, even bigger than I thought and the bathroom was exceptional in so many ways. I did not like the bed but I understand this is a very personal as I do not prefer soft beds. AC was not working properly. Breakfast is exceptional and I loved the coffee and the oven-warm breads.

The hotel was beautiful with luxurious over-the-top French decor and a fantastic breakfast! We chose the hotel because Booking listed A/C as feature. But it was a heat wave and the room was stifling. So they brought in a portable room AC that worked great!

Often in Sweden in summer the hotels list A/C but it cannot keep up in a heat wave.

We both really liked this hotel. Room was really lovely and artsy. Breakfast was the best we had in a month-long stay throughout Scandinavia. Location is perfect, short walk to train station.

The only complaint (TINY) was that we didn't get the "swag-bag" the guy ahead of us got. Felt snubbed. Otherwise, this is a place we would definitely and happily return to.

I have travelled a lot and stayed in many places, and in my opinion - Dorsia Hotel is one of the kind! I did not expect even close to what I received. From the moment I walked in and met the receptionist who was genuinely kind and welcoming. I wish to point out many details that the hotel staff has thought about to make the stay better - delicious local tea in the room, no plastic bags in the dustbin (but more environmental friendly option), thick curtains to reduce light and the room was exceptionally quiet. I must mention the good quality breakfast where food was made not only to fill someone’s stomach, but also taste very well and was tastefully served + the lovely music in the background is another reason I would like to return to the Dorsia again. Thank you for making my stay wonderful!

Everything! Beautiful boutique hotel. Decor is amazing! It’s like being transported back in time or to another world. Room facilities were lovely. Drinks at the bar , dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning were superb. It’s in a really good location. The staff are wonderful , friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night as a treat and it was exceptional value for money .
