Room was large & clean and despite being located on a main road, our room was at the back, overlooking a field, so no noise. Shower over the bath was very good. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, buffet style with small quantities of cooked food refreshed frequently. There were cereals, fruit, pastries, yoghurt and fruit juices. Check in was easy too. There was a gym though we didn't use it. We do quite a few overnight stops with family and car club activities, and we always ask ourselves, would we stay here again? The answer for Citrus Hotel Coventry South, is yes.

A very small thing I would add is a few bottles of ale or bitter in the fridge, as the only choice was canned John Smiths, which if you drink real ale, is a definite no. That said, the San Miguel on draft did the trick.

The room was large and frankly not at all the tired room that I had expected, considering the budget price. Unfortunately, we arrived too late and left too early to use the exercise room, but it also looked better than I had expected.

The restaurant was closed and we were limited to eating in the bar. However, the food was good, the portions generous and the service very friendly. The exact location of the turning on the West bound carriageway of the dual carriageway needs to be better signposted. In the dark we missed it first time and had to go to the next roundabout and back down the road to get in. I have no doubt that it is easily seen in the daylight, but it is equally easily missed in the dark.

Amazing breakfast, friendly helpful staff, free parking onsite and good location. Rooms very spacious with bath and shower, work desk, table and chairs, TV with working channels(!), wardrobe space and iron/ironing board. Restaurant onsite and mini gym. Lots of restaurants and places to eat (including takeaway and deliveroo/uber eats deliveries) in just a 5-10 minute drive.

Not so much I didn't like, but the rooms are a little tired. They are comfortable and clean though, all you want for a business trip! The sign outside the hotel entrance on the road should be better lit as I always arrive when it's dark and have nearly missed the junction twice due to it not being very visible.

Large comfortable room with view over open fields. Bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Sizeable with a big enough bath to stretch out in - which is unusual with a lot of budget hotels. Breakfast was very good,.

Only noticeable lack was plugs near the bedside, which meant I had to leave my phone on the desk to charge. A drawback, but not necessarily the hotels fault, is the road layout which means you have to go past the hotel and double back to get into the hotel if approaching from the wrong direction.

Breakfast was excellent and HOT! Beds were large and comfortable. check in was easy late check out Sunday was MOST helpful

one bed had a corner castor missing so slightly wonky! insufficient responses to messages late staff didn't know times of breakfast nor about our late check out 3 in room - should have had 3 bath towels

The hotel was adequate for my needs and was just outside the denser populated area so there was a bit less traffic and it was very quiet. Double insulated window helped. Easy to control heat. No air con.

Breakfast and dinner are both served too late and I had to eat eleswhere for three of the four meals I would like to have eaten there. There is no air conditioning, and there is no lift.

Staff were lovely, very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very comfy and clean. Breakfast was really good, even though it was sat on the warming plates it was fresh as I noticed only small amounts were brought out at a time so it was pretty fresh. Overall an amazing experience.

Apparently, the Hotel's Booking.Com account was hijacked and an attempt was made via chat to extract additional funds from me by asking for an additional credit card. All ended well without compromising any funds.

I have stayed here multiple times and love how dog friendly this hotel is. Staff are so helpful and friendly.

The bed in the room desperately needs a new mattress. The springs were very uncomfortable and noisy when turning over.

Warm clean room, very quiet location, comfy bed, all well appointed, had a bath as a bonus. Check in and out nice and simple. Staff all friendly. For us a great location. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All for a very reasonable price.
