We loved the location, literally at the bend in the river!Loved the space and facilities. I must admit to being a little concerned as we had come from a huge place, but if you do as Rob and Denny do and stay tidy and organised it’s easy to stay in the lodge. The living room is comfortable with a huge t.v, excellent for hubby to watch football and tennis. He found himself more than a little distracted by the view however. The river, the swans, ducks and geese are the closest neighbours. The lodge has everything necessary for a great stay! The convenience store is incredibly convenient, right next door to the Crown pub which does a stellar Sunday lunch. The water taxi is a great facility, however it’s only about a fifteen/twenty minute walk to Stratford along Tiddington Road.

Beautiful location,incredible views, homely, plenty of cooking utensils; crockery,glasses etc, comfortable beds, en-suite shower. Being allowed to check in early and excellent information given from the owner.

Instead of a washing machine, a dishwasher would be more useful, but realise this is also the owners accommodation. I am visually impaired so found the steps from the lodge a little tricky due to their colour. Only a suggestion but white lines painted along the edge of the steps would help with this.

Lovely chalet, spotlessly clean, beautiful view of the river. Couldn't fault the accommodation,

The only tiny issue was the access to the dog walking field right in front of the veranda and the slight feeling of being on display when sat out enjoying the sunshine but a small price to pay for the location.

Well laid out Mobile home in contrast to the more modern ones. Location good with reservations.

Many Spiders in home with wasps. Location at entrance to dog walking convenience also right next to river slip way making one's car in way for launching and recovery.

Location is really beautiful. Patio furniture was lovely and modern to enjoy the outdoor space. Lovely cosy lodge and beds comfortable. The cows in the field next to us upon waking up really made us smile!

Hairs on bath and bath mat. Waiting time for breakfast in the clubhouse was excessive 45mins (but understand this is completely unrelated to accommodation of course)

We liked everything! The lodge was immaculate, very comfortable and lots of personal touches which makes it very homey. A very tranquil setting with beautiful views over the river and fields. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you!

Amazing location, absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts were very thorough at explaining everything in detail. We would definitely return in the future. Our children loved being by the river, a lovely relaxing break and the added bonus of having great weather.

The location beside the Avon River is simply fabulous. Enjoyed walks up and downstream beside the meandering waters. Could have sat watching the water pass by for hours but also needed to wander around Stratford-upon-Avon, so was torn between these two great pleasures.

The weather was so beautifully warm that it got a bit hot inside but opening all the windows fixed that problem quickly!

Balcony looks on to river Avon . A shirt walk over millennium bridge takes you to river taxi stop . 3 pound for lovely short journey into Stratford dropping you off by the big wheel attraction . Worth a ride on the big wheel to see the whole of town .

Amazing location, lovely and peaceful. Lodge was clean and well presented and was equipped with everything we could possibly need.
