+ Great location. Very central, but quiet part of the surroundings. High ceilings in the room. Good value for money if you book well in advance. Breakfast, ironing facilities available. A tiny, but well functioning sauna with room for 2, max 3 people. Welcoming, supportive staff.

- Stairs from the hotel entrance up to the reception scared me off upon arrival. Despite the lift being available on the side. This must be an initial architectural projecting error that is extremely costly to correct. - Would have appreciated body lotion to be available both in the sauna and as part of the toiletries in the room. - Would have appreciated tea-making facilities in the room and more storage surfaces in the bathroom.

Room was huge - a Jr Suite - with its own balcony and lake view, as well as two other windows that opened to lovely fresh air - the air in Lausanne is so clean!! We loved the location, only two blocks (short ones) to train station, where terrific continental breakfast can be had and food for day excursions purchased at coop market. Did I say it was very quiet? The staff were terrific! The woman behind the desk speaks five languages, and gave us great advice (as well as fresh fruit or chocolat on arrival!)

We did not get the breakfast, it seemed a bit pricy for meusli , bangers, and croisants, but of course cannot rate it

An absolutely kind, friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect if you need to be close to the train station, the hotel is located in a surprisingly calm place with no disturbing noises during the night.

Slightly older interior, but still well maintained and practical. Overall a great option if you can appreciate the location close to the train station, otherwise there are more modern options available in the town for a similar price.

The room was fresh, modern, with a great bathroom and a balcony from which you could see the lake. And it’s literally 2 minutes walk from the main train station with a free city travel pass included - and free Pain au chocolats in the afternoon!

The entrance and lobby appear a little shabby, and the breakfast was uninspiring. There was also no room service, which the hotel didn’t tell us so we wastes quite some time trying to work out the QR code ordering system.

The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. A nice open plan series of rooms facilitates a good exchange of air on each floor. That was an unusual feature but very attractive. The staff were all very helpful and one was super friendly and helpful. Very close to Lausanne Gare and the metro line which are a really strong points. Highly recommend it for a competitive price as Lausanne is expensive.

The hotel was conveniently located near a metro stop and main train station. The art is so beautiful in the hotel and the room I had was lovely, spacious and modern.

The breakfast selection was very limited (no eggs could be made on order etc) and one day the hotel had an issue with a supplier, limiting the breakfast options even further.

The location was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Special mention to Bouchra, she was especially helpful and and tried to make us feel comfortable and answered all our questions and concerns.

The weather was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning was not very good. The staff did give us a fan to help

This is a charming old-fashioned fancy hotel with generously sized, updated rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. They were happy to provide secure storage for our bikes. I forgot my watch in the room at checkout; the staff found it and offered to send it to me!!

Check-in seems slow and complicated.

Clean and modern room, very well equipped. Staff is always available. I asked to check in a bit earlier and they kindly accomodated my request. They also offered a complimentary all-inclusive ticket for train/bus/metro for the duration of my stay. I personally really liked the aesthetics and furniture of the hotel in general. Great value for the price.

From the welcome at check in, breakfast and the cleaning staff our stay was amazing. The room was huge and beautifully decorated with a balcony and a slight view of the lake. We loved the location being across from the train station and close to restaurants and bars. Highly recommend this hotel
