Room was large. King bed was firm and comfortable. Enough pillows were provided. 2 recliner chairs were a lovely luxury. Have table and chairs for meals was also nice, along with basic cutlery and plates, toaster, jug and microwave. Also sink to wash dishes was a nice touch. Tourist information also left in room, and supermarket just across road. Didn't get to use spa, but bathroom was a good size and very clean. Room was very quiet and dark, good for sleeping, couldn't hear neighbours. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

Shower was a little small, due to shape, but still worked great and was clean. Fridge was half full with minibar, struggled to fit our food in.

Georgian Motor Lodge is absolutely stunning and an absolute bargain for what you get. The staff at receptionist were very lovely and helpful. My partner and I stayed in one of the king suites. The whole properly from outside our room to inside was beautiful and clean, you can see how much pride the owners take in maintaining their motel. Our suite came with two comfortable recliners and a huge tv. The bathroom had a large spa bath. We also had a swim in the pool during our stay which was great. I would absolutely stay here again. Nothing negative at all to say! We loved it

All went very well. Had to get staff to check TV, and this was done straight away after our call. Very impressed. As parking spots were not allocated to a room, we were offered a traffic cone to place in our selected spot, when we went out in the car. This worked very well, and was appreciated. We travel with more than a suitcase, so many trips to bring it all inside, then later back to the car. TV was huge, and the recliner armchairs were a very nice addition.

Kitchen was a little squishy. Had to take out all the drinks etc from the fridge, to make room for ours. This we stored on valuable bench space. This seems old school, to stock the fridge. The microwave up on a shelf, would give the kitchen a lot more bench space, could then put items underneath.

We booked this for our parents after we'd stayed here in January. They were impressed (as we had been). So their feedback - We could not fault anything. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfy, as were the recliners (perfect for an afternoon nap). A bathroom with enough bench space to be able to leave toiletry bags and still have room. Friendly hosts and staff who were always happy for a chat.

Absolutely nothing. It more than met our expectations

Loved that this room had a small kitchenette including a toaster and a small fridge with a separate freezer. The small table and chairs, along with two leather recliners were an added bonus which added to the comfort of the Queen Suite.

Water pressure in bathroom basin was extremely low - gravity feed (no problems with shower or kitchen sink). Hot water in bathroom basin also only lasted a few minutes (5 minutes at most) before running cold.

Lovely welcome from host, who showed us to our room, turned aircon on and explained where things were etc. Large room with lots of space - so no tripping over bags. Comfy bed, well stocked mini bar and 2 recliners for watching tv. Good size bathroom with lots of bench space. Cleanest motel we've ever stayed in! Quite location & within walking distance to the port. Pool was refreshing and a nice area to sit and relax. Daily room service a bonus. Could not fault anything and highly recommend.

This motel room should be the benchmark for all motels! It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, perfect for a restful night's sleep. I loved the huge spa bath – such a great touch for relaxation. The kitchenette had a sink, the two large, comfortable recliner chairs were the perfect spot to unwind. This room really sets the standard for motel accommodations, and I would highly recommend it to others!

It is an older Motor Lodge but is very well presented. Staff were lovely and the rooms were very clean. We had a small problem with the A/C which I alerted the office to when we were leaving and I have no doubt was looked into promptly.

Parking is a bit hit and miss but fortunately we were able to get a spot for the 3 nights we stayed over Easter. There is parking available on the street outside if necessary.

We got the room we requested with a King sized bed and comfy recliner chairs. We were supplied with extra towels and everything was clean and fresh. The owners and other staff were very friendly and helpful. After we had checked out, I received a call to say they had found a personal item I had left behind. They offered to mail it but we decided to return for it. Their prompt action saved a lot of angst. It was also very hot whilst we were there and they had a pristine pool which we enjoyed using.

I personally do not like using liquid soap in dispensers and would have liked the option of a bar of soap but I understand that is probably more wasteful. That is my only negative comment.

Everything was perfect. We’ve had a string of bad bookings at other places but this was like a breath of fresh air. Everything is done with the utmost care and thought, down to the mini fridge in the room - it has an actual freezer compartment! The prices for the mini bar/snacks were very reasonable, same with the in-room breakfasts. The room was tidy, large, comfortable and welcoming. We were walked to the room and the air con was already on. We even lucked out with a little courtyard which was the cherry on top. Not to mention the tv, free Netflix and the comfy lounge chairs! We will be back!
