The hotel staff are fantastic, each and everyone one of them greet you and can’t do enough to help you with anything you need! Kesa who helped us everyday book our evening meals goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome here! Everything is at your fingertips at this resort and you don’t have to go far if you wanted something to eat or drink as there are more than enough options to choose from. It’s great for families as the kids club are busy everyday, excellent for couples with out kids if you wanted a more chilled vibe then there are sun loungers are at the both ends of the beach which is more on the quiet side. Entertainment at the poolside everyday which is a nice atmosphere whilst you’re relaxing round the poolside. Overall fantastic hotel and will definitely be back!

Although the Bure we stayed in was beautiful it was joining/attached to a Bure with a large family who were quite noisy when they came in at night, we could hear furniture moving and the families every move when we were in at the same time as them. Would definitely recommend getting those sound proofed. Also the buffet is quite overpriced for what the options are on some of the nights, you’ve got to be in before 8pm or there aren’t many of the main dishes or desserts left but you are still charged full price.

Room is very big and facilities are very good. Staff are all very friendly and food is so good. A lot of choices for breakfast buffet. I like the swimming pool.

Transports are not easy and taxi are not budget friendly.

The site, amenities and location albeit you needed a boat to get to it which wasn’t mentioned. Staff were very friendly.

Good quality was average, particularly the dinners. Outside baymaries were covered in small Insects making the food inedible. For the price its was poor. Breakfasts were good. Room was nice although our door often stuck and was hard to open. (Bungalow 35). Extra deposits and credit card charges were not clearly stipulated in the ad which added additional an expense that wasn’t returned for over a week.

Loved the location of our room (208): central, situated on the ground floor, directly across from the bar and grill, and close the pool, and other restaurant. Loved the patio, and views. Room itself, very clean and comfortable. All the staff members were so friendly, it was so nice they remembered our names! Appreciated the 24hr availability of water transfer to the main island (a 5 min boat ride).

A bit of a distance from Denarau (25 min by car). We decided to eat a buffet meal (“Butchers Night”). We paid $60 per head. Rather disappointed at the lack of choice. Although, the food on offer was superb. Perhaps there was a shortage of staff, nevertheless, I think the resort needs to drop the price for buffet meals, until they can offer a few more dishes (or employ another chef). We felt like we didn’t receive value for money at all. 😒 At the breakfast buffet, there was a good choice of food, but the staff seemed to be slow to replenish the serving bowls. This happened every morning when we’re there. At one stage there were 3 empty at the same time (I think it was bacon, scrambled egg, and hash browns).

We had a relaxing, clean and friendly experience as a family of four with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. The staff service was particularly excellent. Their personable, kind, loving, happy, attentive attitude is what we valued the most during our stay in Fiji!!! Especially their love for children. The staff member that stood out the most for us was Anushka, who works at the restaurant. She always went the extra mile to be personable and ensure that we had a comfortable stay. We are very grateful to all staff members for making our trip a success!

A bit expensive

Loved the resort, loved the very friendly staff but there was two particular ones who were outstanding, they were Merewarita and Sami. Both excellent to deal with for sure. Food was mostly great, swim up bar was amazing, rooms were comfortable. The buffet style meals at vulani I feel are not worth the money they ask for them, however the Ala cart menu here is excellent and very good value for money and a great variety of food on it. Breakfast was included in our stay, again excellent variety of foods and the fresh fruit is to die for. Very easy to get around the place. Despite maintenance happening while we were staying there it was very quiet place to stay and it's not hard to get back to the mainland and get a taxi to nadi or Denarau of you choose to do that. We did a couple of times and it was easy as.

Tavu bar and grill wouldn't get my money again. Terrible meal there, dry meat when it shouldn't be and it was very expensive. Cleaning team left alot to be desired for room cleaning during our stay, failed to clean our room properly, left dishes everywhere, didn't replenish towels etc. Phoned twice for this to be done during the day and they never did it till after 7:30pm.

Overall experience was really nice. Just a suggestion to include more variety of vegan/vegetarian food for dinner. The world is changing now and people are moving towards vegan/vegetarian. We really suffered as the vegetarian option was very limited (spaghetti). One can not eat spaghetti all the time :D....rest all was fabulous.

We loved the warmth given by each and every single staff member of the Double tree resort. Every member went to the extent of ensuring that our stay was as memorable and comfortable. We would like to give special mentions to the following staff members as they have helped us a lot. Dee - for cleaning our room immaculately. 10/10 Peni - For assisting us in the resort activities and always has a bright smile on his face. He kind and helpful nature will always be remembered. 10/10 Sai - Sai ensured that we would always have the good table under the fan. She has been very helpful. 10/10 Susmita - Susmita’s warmth and affection towards us has been a pleasure. She ensured that all our needs are well looked after. 10/10 Sneha - Sneha has a caring and great nature. She cleaned our room and provided us some sweets too. 10/10 Sangeeta - One of the best pastry chefs you have. She listened to what we needed and baked few goodies to our taste. 10/10 Harsha Head chef - A pleasure to meet Harsha. Everyday we see him going to everyone’s table and chatting through. His is lovely, kind and considerate. 10/10 Ranjil- a very lovely and rare staff member who is willing to help in any way to ensure that our experience is memorable. Very kind and considerate and always smiling. 10/10 Nilesh head chef - Last but not least on our last day we wanted to have something of North Indian cuisine. Nilesh went to the extent to ensure what our taste buds are like and gave us the optimum dining experience that we will cherish forever. Food was excellent, cooked well and hot which was perfect to our taste buds. The burger was delicious and at the end he gave us a platter of fruits to go and asked how was the experience. Excellent. 10/10

There was nothing much to fault.

I liked the staff. The staff was great, Vena, Sia in the kitchen, the bar tender at the dining room and at the pool bar. DEO the landscape manager was great, it always sent fresh coconuts to my room for the entire time I was there. Sunjit the landscape supervisor was great. All the landscape employees were amazing. Sitivini was great with directing me to daily hotel activities. He gave us a good explanation of the rivers during the sunset cruise. I enjoyed the food and especially the breakfasts. I liked the straws and how Doubletree is doing their best to maintain sustainability using pasta straws and other products. I liked that they extended my stay in my room until 5pm. Thanks to DEO.

I didn't like the transportation and organization of excursions. I didn't like that there's no beach and can't swim in the ocean

We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fiji! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days of adventure. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a wide variety flavorful options. The staff truly went above and beyond—always warm, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their friendly hospitality made us feel comfortable. The location was perfect for us, especially since our boat hire picked us up directly from the hotel each morning to take us out surfing. It couldn’t have been more convenient! We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The resort grounds were well maintained, Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.
