Almost everything. We expected a farm rural setting but when we went into the unit for our stay we were more than surprised with the place. Definitely come again. The owner went so far as to bake us fresh bread, cookies and provide everything we needed for our trip.

Nothing really, only the water pump for some reason through the night switched on and off. Not sure if it was topping up the tanks or there was a leak. I could barely hear it but I did notice something. I mentioned it as it did keep one of the guests up for a bit. But other than that the stay was A+

All breakfast ingredients were supplied, and were generous and fresh, and a good variety of options. The home-made bread was EXTRAORDINARY. We received the warmest welcome, and the change of booking dates was no problem at all. The visit was like staying at your mum’s place (without mum, LOL), and the cabin was cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. Very central to wineries and other tourist locations, too. This is a great bolt-hole if you just need to relax, and we’ll be back for sure!

The ONLY thing i would add would be wifi access, otherwise everything met our expectations. It’s a quiet spot, but if you want to come to work, bring a dongle. Otherwise bring books :)

Excellent breakfast - home baked bread still warm from the oven and home made jam which was beautiful. Roseann was very welcoming. We were a large family group staying 2 nights for my daughter's wedding and she went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She brought over a night light for one of our little ones who had left hers at home and brought over homemade baking while we were getting ready for the wedding. We highly recommend it!

Roseann from the time I booked was easy to contact and we kept one another informed of our arrival. She was there to welcome us when we arrived with our grandchildren and explained the villa set up and said if need anything else to just ask. Our grandson loved all the toys to play with. There was freshly baked bread , butter . homemade jam and milk /oj in the frig :) I was lucky and got a tour of property and some homegrown mandarins they were delicious There was also the supplies for a cooked breakfast the next morning which was a real bonus for our family . Great location and we have already talked about coming back as a family and seeing more of the area

Absolutely nothing

We loved the interior, beds were very comfortable, kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. The breakfast provided was delicious and extremely generous. Best of all Roseann was so warm, welcoming and excited to share her beautiful place with us. We'll definitely consider staying here again when planning our next trip to Tarta Valley.

Would love a washing machine for a longer stay but for a short one it was not a big deal.

It was close to the wedding venue we were attending. We stayed in the Kookaburra cottage. It was clean and spacious with a perfect, quiet outlook. Had everything we needed and more. A special touch was a freshly baked loaf of bread, homemade jams and honey, bacon & eggs & orange juice. Happy, friendly, and very helpful owner. Thanks for making us feel welcome, Roseann. I highly recommend staying at Dixiglen Farm. We will be back!

We only had one night, so next time, we will stay longer and enjoy the comfortable cottage and visit the surrounding towns and attractions. Everything was wonderful.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Roseanne, who was absolutely friendly. We stepped into the villa and it gave a home away from home feel. The beautiful home baked bread was delicious, as well as the jam 😊 we were also provided with eggs, bacon and juice. My family ate 1 loaf within the hour. The rooms were clean,we enjoyed the space from the rooms, kitchen and lounge. Having the convenience of 4 showers and toilets was great for a family of 7, but it houses up to 12 adults. Location was great! Wish we got to stay longer to experience the full charm of the villa.

That our stay was short.

I immediately knew I'd enjoy my stay when we arrived to a loaf of warm fresh bread and homemade jam, my goodness what a nice touch. The cottage was adorable, bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the cottage had everything we required for our stay.

Not a dislike but - Just be wary you can't really walk anywhere from the property, you could but it's along a highway and I deemed it definitely too dangerous for my liking. This wasn't an issue however as the owner did offer us to add on a driving service pick up and drop off to our stay which was great. Just something to note, as on the maps it is sooooo close to a number of wineries but I do think it's too dangerous to walk. The last minute addition of the driving service made everything workout for us though, this was excellent.

We were very happy with having an ensuite for each of the four bedrooms and although we didn't get to cook up the eggs and bacon we really appreciated the option provided. The home-made bread was scrumptious. It was great accommodation and we truly appreciated the flexibility of check-in so that we were ready for the wedding at a nearby winery.

Just be mindful of the speed of the traffic as you pull out of the driveway. 100kph. Keep your wits about you

Location was great, close to where we were having lunch. If it hadn’t been such a hot day we could’ve walked between the 2 places 😀 Bed was really comfortable. Air con and fan very appreciated on a 38 degree day. Breakfast supplies were plentiful, bread was delicious. Roseann called re our arrival time and had the bread warm and the cottage cool 👍
