I would give Super 8 Bloomington, MN near the Airport an 8.5 out of 10. All the staff were pleasant and cheerful for the most part. The room was clean and neat, although there isn't any closet space. Hot water comes quickly and the Free breakfast and Free shuttle were very welcome. The TV has a very good selection of channels to watch.

The doors are metal on a metal frame, very good. However, there isn't any weather stripping and the doors slam very loudly, unless you close them easily.

Close to the airport

On arrival at check in was trainee and manager teach him how to register new guests. It was too long, I was tired and was interested get to the bed asap. The main purpose of my stay at the hotel was stay closer to the airport because of my flight at 6am. Besides from 2 am to 4am someone cleaned the next room and it was noisy, I didn't slept well.

The breakfast was less than impressive. A muffin, nutrigrain bar for the main course is not what I would consider breakfast.

The advertisement says free parking and shuttle to the airport. I was charged $12.00/day in a second fee charged to my account. I asked then while I was there what happened to the free parking that was advertised and they stated that’s only while I was there. I think I relied something to the effect of that’s false advertising. I asked them if I was going to be billed extra for parking and they said no. Later I was charged roughly $75. for parking. So I will not recommend this hotel based on the parking fee alone and being told I wouldn’t be charged then getting charged.

The thing that hit me most was the friendliness and kindness and willing support of all the staff. The guy on the front desk / reception was Sam. It turned out that he is in fact the General Manager - I guess he wears many different hats! He was so helpful with advice and guidance so much so, that I extended my stay there by a number of days. The kitchen staff who prepare the breakfasts were great too. There is an overwhelming i attitude by all to make guests feel welcome.

I liked that it was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful.

My 6 days I was there had no housekeeping. I had the tag on my door a couple of days saying I dont need cleaning, but not the whole 6 days. Overall it wasn't the end of the world I bought my own cleaning solution so I kept the Jacuzzi clean and wipe sink and bathroom down.

My stay was short and sweet, walking distance to Walmart, Dollartree, Culver's, and Taco bell.

The only discomfort I had was the water in the tub took long to runoff while using the shower

I booked this hotel because is close to the airport . The location is perfect.

I would stay again since it is a basic hotel, the price is fair if what you want is just to be close to the airport and you will leave in the early morning or the next day, I would not stay more than one night since the rooms smell a lot of cigarettes , the staff that greeted us at the front desk was not very friendly...

Room was good breakfast was alright was disappointed that on the website it shows pool and jacuzzi and there was non or fitness room. I didn't like that the hallways smell like weed and allot of people just hanging around the hallways.

That the other guess were very loud and annoying and could hear them in hallways

Easy access to venues? Clean and comfortable

Staff was not attentive and had to wait over 20 minutes to check out because no o e was at the front counter. My son left something very special to him in the room and when I called to see if they had it I got told that they did y think so but they would check the maintenance room and I could call them later to see if they found it. Not good customer service

It was near the airport and had breakfast. The staff were helpful and nice.

The furniture in the entrance was pretty rugged and looked over used / unclean. And then in my bathroom it seemed like there were flecks of paint on the counter / possibly unclean. Everything else in the room looked good though.
