Marley house was generous in every aspect. Huge rooms, beds, duvets, breakfasts, baths. The hosts were warm and welcoming with a relaxing humour. The breakfast room was small enough to feel homely and that started the day very well. We didn’t use the hot tub which was available. The resident dog, Doris, was the star of the show. Quietly in the background, she just captured everyone’s hearts.

The only improvement I could think of was that Marley house could offer evening meals. Just because the food at breakfast was so good I’m sure any Dinner would be super. But there were plenty of local pubs and hotels nearby to eat at.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming B&B surrounded by greenery and absolute peace. The location is perfect for visiting Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Breakfast was outstanding: a full English with black pudding, crispy hash browns, cherry tomatoes sautéed to perfection, and eggs cooked any way you like. For us continental guests, there were also fresh croissants, fruit salad, yogurt, a variety of jams, and different types of toast. Our host Mark made breakfast even more enjoyable with his kindness, sense of humor, and warm smile. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed, fragrant linen, and a spacious en-suite bathroom. Highly recommended!

The location in rural England was like an escape from the busy world, from the crowded city life. There is some wonderfull nature to explore in the vicinity, and the Tank Museum. At times it almost felt fantastic how peaceful and calm it felt, like a retreat of sorts. Highly reccomend.

The state of the estate needs some work. Paint was peeling a little from on the outside window frame. One window pane was cracked and one had the putty come off the bottom leaving a slit open to the outside. There weren't any mosquitoes and we went in the summer so it was fine. The room also didn't have air conditioning, luckily it wasn't too warm. Yet.

Highly recommend Marley House B&B. The room had everything we could have needed, and more. The hot tub was an amazing bonus for the evenings, and the gardens were beautiful to relax and read in. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and really cooked well. Location was perfect for exploring Dorset and the surrounding area - durdle door and lulworth cove so close by. The hosts Mark and Jan were great, so friendly and helpful. I stayed here with my best friend, but it is perfect for everyone - families, couples and friends. We couldn’t have asked for more!!

Great location, a quiet, picturesque village. The b&b has a lovely garden, several communal areas to relax in or watch tv if you don’t want to be in your room. The hot tub and bbq were great additions. The host provided us with cutlery, crockery wine glasses and cooking utensils. There is a local produce farm shop a short walk away where we got some meat and salad. The host have fridge for guests to use too! The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked to order and brought to you at your table.

Great location, whether you just want to spend a few days in the countryside at the Jurassic Coast near Durdle Door, or are walking the South West Coastal Path. Quiet place that has a regular public bus connection which makes it easy to get around without having to use the car. The B&B has a huge well-kept garden that can be used by the guests which is especially helpful for dog owners but also convenient if you want to sit outside and enjoy a good glass of wine in the evening. The highlight though are the hosts, Jan, Mark and Doris (a very friendly and calm dog) who makes you feel like staying with friends. The room is clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom all new and of high standards and the breakfast gorgeous. Did I mention that I brought a dog who was welcomed too? I really had 10 wonderful days there and will for sure return because I still have to walk a few miles of the coastal path.

Our room was lovely with two windows that let in a perfect evening breeze, keeping us cool and comfortable through the night. The breakfast was exceptional – one of the nicest we've ever had. Mark & Jan were great hosts and we enjoyed the chat at breakfast time. The gardens were peaceful and well-kept, a lovely spot to relax. It's also just a short stroll to the village pub, making it an ideal location. Highly recommended!

We arrived at Marley House B&B after our 4 hour drive, and the setting was idyllic. Perfectly quaint village setting, and the house itself was beautiful. Our room was gorgeous in green and overlooked the stunning garden and had a view of a nearby church. Jan and Mark, the owners, could not have taken better care of us. The breakfast was superb - served with smiles and jokes. It was dog friendly and very relaxed. We played chess one night in the conservatory and Mark joined us for a few games. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. Great value for money and we don't usually tend to revisit places to stay as we like to experience new places, but we would definitely stay here should we be in Dorset in the future.

There was nothing we didn't like, at all. It was perfect.

Could marginally be improved by providing small quantity of fresh milk in room and improving pressure of flow in shower. But would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Where to start...we simply fell in love with this property! Jan and Mark are so lovely and made us feel right at home. They are truly dog friendly! The B&B is stunning and very spacious. The living room is huge, would allow multiple guests at the same time and all sorts of entertainment is provided. Bring swimsuit as there is a hot tub you don't want to miss! Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. You can tell products are fresh and top quality. Our apartment was bright and full of colors, it had everything you could ever ask for and more. We couldn't find a better location and we cannot wait to go back.

There is a church bell ringing every hour. Not the property's fault but if you are sensitive to noises bring earplugs.
